Do I have an eating disorder??

It's not an eating disorder, but that's how quickly they can escelate into one. Usually you're unaware until its too late. The fact you're aware is GOOD! Stay aware, but don't cause an obsession either....
You'll come to like your boobs I was the same, when I was your age and I'm only a 32A now and I hate them! I wish they were bigger.
As for exercise, I used Jillian Micheals 30 day shred and her 6 week 6 pack (as you're already slim using these daily will really tone you up! and improve mental as well as physical fitness) It's alright being slim but most people still arent FIT. So focus on if you want to focus on anything your strength, agility and physical fitness.... this will give you the figure you want without becoming an overall obsession with weight!

Right now you do not have an eating disorder, but keep it in check.... look at yourself and change how you word it instead of " I've a huge butt! " Say " Well what can I do to shape it up a bit." If you know you do not over eat then there is no need to restrict! Exercise is always your friend!

Do i have an eating disorder?

okay so im 16. i am 5'5 and weigh 130. when i was about 10 i was constantly bullied for being over weight. my mom always knew i hated the way i looked but never actually thought it affected me. one summer i began restricting my calories to about 1000 a day and would exersize CONSTANTLY untill i dropped about 50 lbs in acouple months.

about 3 years ago, i noticed i was getting fatter. so i began restricting again. and i would always throw up my dinners and snacks and stuff. so ive been doing that up untill now. its gotten more serious than ever this year. i throw up atleast twice a day but i never binge. i hate eating around people except for my boyfriend. hes the only one that knows about what im going through and says i need to get help. but im not bullimic. i dont b/p. i just restrict somewhat and purge alot. so im not anorexic either. i cant tell my mom cuz she wont believe me. and i feel stupid for getting help for a non-existent eating disorder. i dont deserve treatment. i feel like its insulting to real bullimics and anorexics.

but my hairs falling out and my throat always hurts. so im starting to get scared. anyone know what disorder is called? or if i even have one? any advice? HELP ):

Do I have Pica? (eating disorder)?

It is common for many children to eat inedible things. Pica is not just eating those things or being curious but usually involved uncontrollable cravings for such things.

If you do these things regularly now that you are no longer a child, you may want to consider seeing a doctor to properly assess your condition and some assistance if you would like to manage it.

I want an eating disorder...?

I know how you feel! I wanted anorexia or bulimia SO BADLY! I slowly stopped eating and i lost 11 lbs and I felt so proud of myself!! I kept eating like 300 cals. a day. Then I got super weak! I could hardly hold a pencil! I couldn't even do volleyball! It was awful and I hadn't even lost very much weight! One thing you can do thats not as bad is a calorie tracker. I got one after I started eating right again and Ive lost 15 lbs and feel great. Im not so weak anymore. i like MyFitnessPal. you just do a little survey and say like your weight and height and age and weight goal and how quickly you want to lose it and it will suggest how many calories you should eat to lose it. I knows that calories of SO many foods in its database and you can log your exercise and say how many calories you burned. It helps you stay under your calorie limit. I lose more weight with that then I did with anorexia!

What are the signs of an eating disorder?

I agree with Jonathan but many of the symptoms he mentions are going on inside of the eating disordered persons mind and you do not have a way of knowing what they are thinking. As the Mom of a daughter with an eating disorder (anorexia) the first signs I noticed were:Weight lossBrittle/splitting finger nailsWhite spots on teethWearing a hoodie because she was cold all the timeComplaining about being cold/ or the air conditioning being on when weather was hotDrinking excessive amounts of waterEating less at family meal timeSuddenly didn’t like foods she had always lovedExtreme fatigue (she was up exercising all night)Hair lossLack of energyClogged up garbage disposal with food she was “hiding”Suddenly became vegetarian then veganBegan looking at food labels in the grocery storeThe major sign for us was when she went into cardiac distress during practice with her sports team. For bulimics I would add going to the bathroom or taking a shower immediately following a meal. Some people with eating disorders leave “clues.”  Look for hidden food indrawers in bedrooms or plastic bags or other containers with purged food hidden in bedroom closets, under beds, etc.  If you suspect that someone you know has an eating disorder seek help rightaway.  Please keep in mind that a person does not have to look like askeleton to have an eating disorder. My daughter is very athletic and waseating 5 strawberries a day and exercising 8-10 hours every day.  Shestill looked semi muscular and healthy when she was admitted to thetreatment program.

What type of eating disorder do I have?

The newest version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders made major revisions to eating disorder criteria.  One example is the exclusion of absence of menses (which is typical with significantly low BMI) in diagnostic criteria for anorexia.  In addition, the field has created to recognize sub types of anorexia nervosa, including Anorexia Binge/Purge Type.  I'd consult with your treatment team about Anorexia B/P Type.

Why do people get eating disorders?

I'm 15 and I've been struggling with eating issues for 3 years now and I don't even know how it all began. There is nothing appealing about starving yourself to the point that you pass out. Or shoving so much food down your throat in one sitting that you can barely move after. I was supposed to get skinny, but even at my thinnest I still felt fat. I could never lose enough weight. And with my messed up metabolism and binging issues I'm 10 lbs heavier now then when I started. I can't eat over 500 calories without feeling guilty, binging, and starving myself the next day. I've isolated myself from friends and family. I've turned down so many invites to places for the fear of what kind of food they'd serve there. I've been holding out on my life until I can get thin enough to let myself enjoy it. I'm afraid of most dessert foods, pasta, bread, and anything containing fat. I can't eat those foods without immediately feeling guilt and anxiety. I don't like who I am anymore. Nobody understands what I'm going through. I tried to tell my mom, but she didn't think I had a problem. She probably thought I was too fat to have an eating disorder. I am too fat. I'm fat and disgusting and I deserve to be as miserable as I am. I hate myself and I don't know what to do. I don't even know what my question is anymore. I just need help but no one is helping me. Nobody understands.
