Do I Have Brown Or Amber Eyes

Do i have amber eyes?

No you do not, you have light brown eyes.

Amber eyes are specifically and very boldly orange and yellow. The daylight will bring out the warmer tones in brown eyes the same as it brings out the cool ones in blue eyes and makes them appear brighter.

Amber: Orange-yellow, golden orange, the colour of a middle traffic light. The colour of fallen autumn leaves.

I have amber eyes??

I incredibly have incredibly dark brown eyes. i like em. and that i think blue eyes are somewhat suited as stable. i think of the "prettyness" of eyes merely will count number on the persons good EYES themselves, no longer continuously the colour. If the eyes are a marvelous shape, the lashes are beautiful, and the eyebrows are ok aligned and shapely ... Then i think the eyes are constantly going to look friendly it would not count number what coloration they're. If the eyes do no longer look particular and the form is uninteresting and do merely no longer look captivating, they can't be quite. There are persons who've incredibly beautiful eyes that ensue to be blue, and there are persons who ensue to have somewhat unappealing (unsightly) eyes which ensue to be blue too. (of direction, the comparable with BROWN!)

Amber eyes?

In high school biology everyone learns that there are two genes for eye color, brown, which is dominant, and blue, which is recessive. You get one from each parents. If you use "B" for brown and "b" for blue, there are 4 possibilities:

BB
Bb
bB
bb

All but the last result in brown eyes. The children of #2 and #3 may have blue eyes. Children of #1 will be brown-eyed, but his/her grandchildren may be blue-eyed.

That is fine, but there are about 7 genes for eye color, and "Blue" ranges from the pale blue you see in Danes to dark blue to hazel. "Brown" ranges from the almost black you see in Asians to light brown to hazel again. If we had just "B" and "b", no one would have green, violet, grey or amber eyes

It is always possible that you are adopted or the result of a fling, but chances are, with green eyes in the family, that your family's eye color genes are rare and special.

Is there truly a difference between Amber and Brown eyes?

Yes, amber is considered a different eye color from brown, although there might be some brown tinting present. There are two primary factors that determine a person's eye color: the type of pigment (in humans, it is believed that there are three primary pigments- brown, blue, and yellow), and the amount or density of the pigment in the iris (there is a third effect somewhat related to the second- the presence of a substance in the eye that can mask the pigmentation of the iris beneath it). These two (or three, if you prefer) effects work together to create a spectrum of eye colors... two people with blue eyes might have different shades of blue, etc.
The dominant coloration of a person with amber eyes is the yellow pigment, although there can be brown, or even blue pigmentation present, which will modify the overall colour. Hazel eyes are NOT the same (as suggested by another respondant)... the dominant pigment for hazel eye coloring is brown, although there might be some yellow pigment present. Hazel eye color is more normally associated with a low density of the piments (meaning that hazel is most often just a light shade of brown.
