Do I Have To Bleach Level 4.5 Or 5 Hair

Can you bleach out blue hair dye?

Trying to bleach out hair that is blue, this mens that first of all the hair had to be bleached previously in order to make it blue, I dont recommend using straight bleach to remove blue out of the hair , The question should be how can I Neutralize blue hair first with it makes more sense and it would be better for the hair.

How long does it take for bleached hair to grow out?

If you want to grow out and get rid if the bleached hair , I would recommend you color your hair to as close the same color as the grow out color. Then I would just continue your routine haircuts without ever coloring again. Hair for the averages, grows approximately 1/2 inch a month. Measure your hair from the color line to the end (x). Assuming you want to keep length, this formula is if you only get 1/4 inch trimmed a month: x/.25=y so y= the number of months till your hair is vergin( your natural color with no added color). And the more you have taken off the quicker your hair will become vergin again. This only works if you stop coloring your hair.

I accidentally bleached all of my hair, how can I fix it?

you're in luck! i'm a hairdresser, and i bleached my hair a few months ago and had the same problem. there are a few solutions to this. first of all, you need to find a shampoo and conditioner that are meant to treat damaged hair. my suggestion is a brand called Sebastien, and there's a shampoo and conditioner called Penetrait that really works amazingly. and yes, it's really spelled like that. another thing is a deep conditioning treatment and ten minutes under a dryer will help. you can get that in a salon. also, what i've found helpful is, when you take a shower, have the water as hot as you can stand it while you wash with shampoo and put in the conditioner. leave the conditioner in for about 5 minutes. then, before you rinse it out, put the water to cold, as cold as you can take, and rinse out the conditioner. warm water raises the cuticle, which allows the conditioner proteins to penetrate the cortex. then rinsing with cold water closes and smooths the cuticle. also, rinsing your hair with water that has a low PH is best, which is known as soft water. see, on the PH scale, humans are on the acidic side (4.5 - 5.5). anything above 7 on the PH scale is bad for your hair, because it raises the cuticle and leaves it shattered and frayed. if you can't afford the Sebastien products i recommended, find an acid balance shampoo and conditioner at your local store. don't trust garnier, it tends to leave a wax build up on your hair. if you want shine, look for products that have silica in them instead of silicone.

i hope this helped!

Do I have to bleach level 4.5 or 5 hair?

I'm black so my hair is dark but seeming just bought 4 level hair color braids and my hair lighter. So I think my hair color is around a 5. I'm wondering how light can I dye my hair without bleach? Can I dye it red or golden brown? Or blue for that matter? Is that possible?

How long should I leave Wella T18 toner on thick hair?

Well to begin with thickness doesn't matter on the time you leave it on, just make sure you have enough to saturate all of the hair thoroughly,if your hair is pre bleached and you are just wanting the brassy tones out 10-15 min while hair is damp, preferably, while making sure you keep a watch on it after 5.pre bleached hair has a tendency to suck up any moisture including the color turning it darker, faster. That's the reason you want to leave the hair damp.If you are wanting to put it on virgin hair (non pre colored) you can put it on dry hair, saturate well and process for 25 min. I like to put a plastic cap on and sit the person under the dryer for extreme shine.

Will a 30 volume developer damage your hair?

A 30 volume developer will probably not seriously damage hair under the following factors including, but not limited to:The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special” SUNDAY, DEC. 2 ) on The ABC Television Network - Rita Ora - (ABC/Lou Rocco)A professional hair colorist is applying the 30 volume developer and has deemed it necessary to achieve the desired level of lightness. Or you are applying it at home with the help of a family member or friend and timer.Note: It’s best to use a 30 volume developer at home only after you’ve had proper instruction in how to use it on your hair. The hair the 30 volume developer is being applied to is virgin hair (without prior chemical processing of any kind) which requires 2-3 levels of lift. A 30 volume developer would work for 3 levels of lift on fine hair and 2 levels of lift on coarse hair. The hair being lightened is very dark ranging from a level 3 to the darkest level 1. Note: 30 volume developer is designed for hair which is the darkest levels. Using a volume developer that is too high for the hair color may result in unnecessary lightening and resulting damage. You leave the 30 volume developer in the hair longer than 30 minutes which renders the color inactive. The 30 volume developer is not being used on hair which is the highest lightness levels from level 8 to level 10.The 30 volume developer is not used directly on the scalp since it would be irritating. This level of volume developer should only be used 1″ off the scalp. If you add Olaplex to 30 volume developer is actually drops it one whole level. Many people are not aware of this fact. You can also use a concentrated treatment which strengthens the hair from within, reducing breakage and improving its look and feel. There is a first-of-their-kind bond-building technology, which relinks the broken disulfide bonds caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage to the hair.Any time you use a 30 volume developer on hair, it will cause some level of damage. However, when applied properly on the right type and texture of hair, a 30 volume developer will be just fine.DISCLAIMER: I neither sell nor promote any companies, their products, nor do I have any online shopping outlet of my own to promote. What hair color is this? and if i have black hair what should i buy if i want this hair color?

It's a hard brown, probably about a number 4.5 Which is a dark brown. I love this colour. First, You'd need a VERY light bleach, you don't want a heavy bleach because you don't have to change drastic colour, you know?

Break down: Hair shades in salons go by levels 1(black) - 10(blonde)
here is how it works:
Levels 1-5 have a red pigment behind them
6-7 is orange
8-10 is yellow

That is why when you try to lift stubborn hair it goes orange...because you are not adding a brown shade...you are only breaking the colour molecules.

Make sense?

Okay. I suggest getting 3-4 then a dye over job with a colour 4.5 (Which is a mix of half 4 and half 5. You know?) Okay. If you want more help, feel free to message me. It's a bit confusing.

If I use 40 volume developer and leave it less long does it do the same damage as a 30 volume developer (if you lighten the same amount)?

the more slowly you lift hair, the less yellow it tends to expose. I usually start with 10vol and bump up as needed. I rarely use anything over 20vol except for very specific situations. I especially would not recommend putting 40vol on your scalp. its totally unnecessary and can cause blistering.basically hair lightened the same amount with something lower will look creamier and less “raw”you may not notice the difference so much between 30 and 40 vol, but if you could find the patience to use 10–20 vol, your results will be nicer. just make sure to keep it wet and not allow it to dry out while its processing, put something like a bag over to incubate it. if you are doing the whole head, try to work quickly and put 10 vol on your scalp for about an inch, and then use 20vol on the rest. the heat from your head will assist the lifting of the 10vol and result it your process looking more even overall.bleaching hair with 40vol is like using a shotgun to kill a fly.

What causes hair loss?

I understand one thing is genetics. My brother lost a significant amount of hair from the ages 19-23. I am 18 and now going through the same thing. I want to at least attempt to stop it before it gets worse. What is the science behind hair loss? Also, is there any natural way to prevent it?
