Why do Arabs look like Indians?
First of all, looks do not define ethnicity in totality. It is culture, language and to some extent nationality. Indians themselves are a genetic mixture of various migrant groups that moved into the Indian subcontinent for centuries, coupled with geographic factors. So, any form of mixture can result in a person looking alike anything. The Arabs are divided into two groups(1) Original Arabs :The people of the desert regions of the arabian peninsula(2) Arabized people groups : Levantic people groups such as Syrians, Jordanians, Palestinians, Lebanese and so forth. These people groups originally had their own languages, until the Arab invasion of their lands and with Islamization, they became Arabized gradually by adopting Arabic language. Some inter-mixture took place too.You have to also look at things geographically. Darker skin is a product of melanin, the skin protecting itself from the harsh hot sun. In a hot desert you will not have a fair skin. Any “fair skin” among Saudis are due to recent marriages with Turks, Persians, Lebanese women who marry rich Saudi men. So their offspring will have “fair skin”.The northern part of Arabia you go, the more there is mixture of Indo-European, Caucasian/Persian/Turkish blood. The more south you go, you get closer to the original Arabians who are darker.India and Arabia are in the same latitude from a sunshine basis, that also adds to the pigmentation. Finally, many Semitics and Indo-Aryans (fair skinned northern Indians and Pakistanis) are both part of the Southern Caucasian people groups, whose ancient ancestors shared a common ancestry at some point long ago somewhere in central Asia.Saudis generally tend to distance themselves from Indians, as racism is inherently strong among them, but Omanis, Yemenis,other gulf Arabians won’t mind being compared to northern Indians/Pakistani.The ultimate thing is, why do Chinese and Koreans and Japanese look similar or why do Cambodians, Thais, Indonesians look similar? It is more to do with close geographies and shared genetics.Southern Indians of course have more Australoid blood in them, so they will tend to be more darker with broader noses and thicker lips depending on how much Australoid content they have in them or their ancestryIt brings the whole thing back to square 1, it is not looks that define a person’s identity, it is the culture, shared language and shared history along with geography all combined that ultimately define a person’s identity.

Do Arabs look like Indians?
Here's a good question to begin with: who is this man, and where do you think he comes from?Would you ever have believed his father was a Syrian Arab?With that behind us, now here's my answer: Because of intense miscegenation, the answer is simply - yes and no.In the first place, not all "Indians" look alike, because India is very much divided into two very distinct cultures and "ethnicities". Whether it was through assimilation or conquest, Indians of the north and Pakistanis are of Indo-Iranian stock, while those of the south (which I am more acquainted with) are of Dravidian descent.Secondly, in the ages since the great empires of the Rashideen and the Umayyads, the Arab world has seen very intense genetic miscegenation, as it collided with, conquered, and had cultural intercourse with non-Arab communities within and without of its borders. It's perfectly acceptable to say that some Arabs resemble Indians, but NOT ALL Arabs do. Steve Jobs is one such good example.
Why do most Iranians don't look Arab but look like Indians?
The mistake many people make is that they compare Iranian with Arabs, but the truth is that Iranian physically and culturally are completely distinct from Arabs; on the other hand, there are strong bonds between Iranian and Indians and we are we are very similar culturally and physically.

Why do many Saudis look like Indians?
The Saudis have a very diverse gene pool. More so because of the oil boom, thats when they started selecting and marrying ‘willing wives’ from all over the world.Even though the media keeps it hushed and the private lives of Saudis are given utmost privacy; the fact is that a large percentage of Arab Saudi men have married Indian women or have had kids with them out of wedlock.Any one from India knows the stories about the Hyderabad brides, where the Rich Arab guy use to fly in to the city to select his next bride.Muslim parents would participate with their 15 or 16 year old girls like pagents when the Arab contingent came over and if the Arab guy finally selected a girl, he would pay the parents a certain amount and legally marry the girl. Basically, a work around to casual sex plus underage sex[1].Some married and honored their marriages and made it work.Hence, you would see more of an Indian look in some Saudis. But keep in mind that the Indian look is a generalization of the Saudis you may have interacted with. Why do a lot of Indians look like arabs and egyptians?
Im egyptian with blue eyes and blonde hair, and freckles. My dad is one of 13 kids and all his brothers and sisters have blue eyes and green eyes. One even has one blue eye and one green eye. My mom has very light brown hair and also freckles and she has hazel eyes. How do we look indian. And that is not even rare. 29% of Egypt's population has blue or green eyes and that excludes greek,french and brititsh immigrants that live in egypt and that will eventually “mix”. I think your statement was really uneducated. Yes we have darker individuals but we are mostly tanned to pale skin and you get white arabs in lebanon,syria etc.. Why do East Indians, Arabs, and Mexicans look alike?
Its becuase all of these groups have similar genetic make up. Latinos are a mixture of native american (asian), european and black. Arabs are a mixture of white and black with a minor asian component. Indians are also a mix of australoid which is black, east asian and middle eastern and a minor european compoenent. And also mexico, middle east and india are located in same location so that could be a reason.
