Wow, this is a good question, from a purely quantitative standpoint all three actors are just about equal. Looking at IMDb - Movies, TV and Celebrities, Brad Pitt has 69 credits as an actor and 1 Oscar win, George Clooney has 73 credits as an actor and 2 Oscar wins, and Matt Damon has 68 credits as an actor and 1 Oscar win. There's no clear numerical lead there, so you have to go with personal preference!My personal preference:1) Brad Pitt - I really like the range that Pitt displays from the beginning of his career till now, there are some really strange and out there characters and then there are some everyday individuals, but he plays them all with authority and authenticity. From Jeffrey Goines (12 Monkeys) to Tyler Durden (Fight Club) to Lt. Aldo Raine (Inglourious Basterds), Pitt is just plain FUN to watch.2) George Clooney - it's really close between him and Pitt, but unfortunately for Clooney he was part of a television drama that outlived it's lifespan (E.R.) and one of the worst superhero films in history (Batman & Robin). George, I know it's not right to demote you based upon those two facts...but I am. Otherwise, Clooney has presented a wonderfully SUBTLE and yet profoundly human set of performances over the years. I think for Clooney fans there's likely a single performance they always think of when they hear his name, for me that performance is in The American, a beautiful and tragic film about life, impending death, and the values you ascribe to those things.3) Matt Damon - excels at Matt Damon Face***I kid, I kid...or do I? I love Matt Damon movies, but I'm not sure that I love Matt Damon. He often seems to be portraying the same character, and usually that character is a closed book.But give the man his due, he's been as successful, if not more so than the other two on the list. So, maybe I'm just jealous I don't have Damon face...* not actually Matt Damon, but rather, "MATT DAMON!"** Sci Fi Damon Face
