Is team fortress 2 safe for kids?
It's a gory game, but the art style of the game is very cartoonish. The violence, gore and such is also cartoonish making it impossible to take seriously like some realistic shooting game. Basically, imagine a Pixar movie having blood and that's what this game is. It's a simple multi-player game. The only thing to be concerned about is the other people playing online like any other online game. You never know what he might hear. This is more of a problem for the Xbox 360 version of the game because everyone has a headset. For the PC and PS3 versions, many people don't have headsets to communicate on.
Should I play Team Fortress 2 or get CSGO?

This is due to the lack of support valve has given to the competitive community of Tf2. There are several reasons for this. It might be that valve only wants Tf2 to be solely casual or the disapprove the current meta(they might be small in number but they still passionate)I recommend to only puruse Competitive TF2 if you were truly passionate at the game like famous TF2 player “B4nny”I have great respect for him because despite the release of the game Overwatch(which led to several top tf2 players to quit and switch over), he has stayed and still is currently pouring his energy and passion into the game

Microphone Not Working with Steam Games: Team tortress 2 & Half-life 2 Deathmatch?
I have an Inland 6000 headset with a mic: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846 It is not a usb mic. It connects using the analog headphone and mic jack. I am running windows xp and my sound card is a Sigma Tel C-Major. When I go to sounds and audio devices this is the only option in all of the fields. It works perfectly on skype and other non-steam programs. It also works for steam chatting under the community tab, and when I open a game and test under options it I can hear myself fine. It doesn't work, however, when I try to chat in game while playing tf2 and hlf:dm. I press the chat button, but the mic does not function at all. I have tried to fix it by: -Updating my sound card driver. -Using voice_enable "1" sv_voiceenable "1" voice_scale "0.75" voice_dsound "1" voice_modenable "1" -Making sure "enable mic" was checked -Closing down all other applications I still have no response. Can anyone please help me with this? Edit: I have tried the mic on 2 Dell pcs. A Latitude D610, where it initially didn't work and a Inspiron 540 desktop. I didn't work on both; maybe a Dell issue?
Is the Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset Compatible with Steam Games?
A headset is a headset is a headset. If it doesn't work, it's not the headset...it's either the soundcard, or the outlet(s) you've plugged the jacks into may not be operational. Or...the headset is broken. The only exception I can think of is if the headset itself need a driver installed on the computer. Good Luck!
Why cant i hear the game music whenever i use a Bluetooth headset?
whenever i am playing games like team fortress 2, World of Warcraft, and various other games, the music of the game never plays while i have my Bluetooth headset connected to my laptop. i can hear my friends talking just fine, but the music doesn't play. I've tried two different Bluetooth headsets, and they both are having the same problem. also, my friends can hear me speak while i'm using the headset, and i can hear them, but their audio is coming from the speakers on my laptop. but, i want the voice audio going through the headset. does anyone hav any idea how i can fix either of my problems??
