Do I Need A Visa If I

Hi do i need a visa if i am from peru visiting the us and want to see niagara falls canada?

Yes, you will need a visa to enter Canada, as well as the United States.

If you don't want to bother applying for a Canadian visa, you can still see the falls from the American side. The American side has less attractions than the Canadian side and there are no high rise hotels with good views of the falls (the view is generally better from the Canadian side, so more hotels on that side) but you can still get a good view from the American side at the state park. There's also attractions on the American side such as Cave of the Winds, the observation deck and the Maid of the Mist (the boat that takes you up to the falls). Most of the attractions on the Canadian side are just tourist traps, the main purpose of visiting Niagara Falls is to view the falls and you can still do that from the American side.

Do I need a visa for Thailand if I fly through Bangkok?

If your transfer is at the same airport, you dont need to pass through immigration. So no need for a visa.If you need to enter the Kingdom then it depends which country you are from. Australia, UK, New Zealand, USA, Hong Kong, and many other countries get a visa waiver and you just need to show your passport to get in. I think people from all other countries can apply for Visa on Arrival at the airport. Also, you do not need a visa if you are transiting and spending less than 12 hours in the Kingdom.Visa policy of Thailand - Wikipedia

Do I need two visas if I'm going to Beijing and Shanghai?

MY first suggestion where ever you read that Shanghai consider themselves separate from mainland China stop going to that website or if someone told you about it, stop talking to that person with immediate effect. Shanghai is economical hub of China where Beijing being the Political hub. And yes you don't need sepearte visa for visiting any province or city once you have entered China. Though there are some points you need to remember once you are in China:-if you are living in hotel then it's fine, but if you are visiting some friends and would live in their home make sure to visit I police station within 24 hours of entering China and get yourself registered with them and tell them where you are living and they would give you a letter which you need to keep safely. If you are in hotel then hotel will do that for you but you wouldn't get that letter.Keep a copy of your passport with you always as per the law you should have original but by keeping copy can also helP. Normally police won't bother but in some rare cases they randomly check papers of foreigners specially if they are involved in some fight or trouble. It just struck me maybe you would have read about Hongkong (HK) and not Shanghai. As you need separate visa to visit HK, and yes they consider themselves separate from mainland China.

Do I need transit visa when going to Canada via USA?

I just read the details of your question in your comments. If you already have a visitor Visa for USA, than you don't need a transit Visa. Visitor Visa also gives you an access to visit in USA for period of time. The visa officer in USA will ask you that how long you are in USA, where you will be staying and all that. But if you are only transiting through that's fine as well. Now it depends if you have a multiple entry visa to USA or single entry. Single entry only allows you visit/enter only once. Whereas with multiple entry visa you can visit USA at a later date after you are in Canada.

Do I need a Russian visa when connecting through Moscow?

In case of changing the flights in Moscow a foreign citizen, who is not leaving transit zone does not require to have Russian visa. You can ensure whether you leave the transit zone during your flight connection with your airlines. If you need to leave transit zone, you should duly obtain transit visa. If you plan to stay in Russia for a period of time longer than 24 hours allowed by the transit visa, and visit the famous sights of Moscow or Saint Petersburg you can apply for a tourist visa. The cost of tourist invitation for EU citizens is 19 EUR. See more information on visa types and application process here: Get Russian Visa Invitation in 5 minutes — The fastest way to Russia
