Do I Need Braces Help

I need braces help my teeth are SO UGLY?

yep it hurts.. invisiline is more exp than regular braces..
normal braces are about $5000 ! They do only stay on for 2 years.. so for beautiful teeth, 700 days isn't that long!
Your parents could get 60% if they get a discount benefits plan..while you have the braces..
at the website it's under dental plus.. have your parents look at it and if they let you get braces, show them how much they can save and they'll be even happier!

How do you know if you need braces?

You only "need" braces if the positions your teeth are in cause a medical problem such as pain or an uneven bite.

If you'd like to straighten your teeth for aesthetic purposes you can, as is the most common case.

The braces in and of themselves don't hurt, what hurts is when they are putting force on your teeth to make the change position. My sister has a set of braces that made an ingrown tooth come out, and it hurt like hell.

The best way to tell how much it will hurt depends on how much work you want/need.

Basically the more pain the more work, so it's pretty much always worth it. If you just want to have a nice even smile the pain can't be too bad.

Braces...do I need them? ***PICS***?

It's a matter of personal opinion. If you ask me, I think your teeth look perfect. No one has absolutely straight teeth and certainly no one is going to be staring at your teeth for as long as any of us have looked at the picture you provided to pick out insignificant flaws.

It is normal for you to be overly critical when comparing yourself to "the ideal." If your concern over your teeth is causing you unnecessary anxiety, I would talk to your dentist (or dental hygienist) at your next appointment. If your insurance will cover the cost of orthodontics, you might as well go through with the braces--you wouldn't have anything to lose. Braces would correct your front teeth (I'll take your word that there is a problem there; I would have never guessed it) and angle your bottom teeth out (they kind of look like they're all slanting inwards very slightly). I'm certainly not an expert, but you asked how they would help your teeth, I am giving you an honest answer.

If you want to really get down to it, believe me when I say that I truly think you have very pretty teeth already. It would not be worth the hassle and expense if you got braces.

How do you know if you need braces?

Here are some reasons why you would need braces, specifically invisible braces:You are bothered by the imperfections. If you have a teeth gap, not just because of aesthetic reasons, consult your dental professional. For young children, check for other symptoms, like early loss of baby teeth, chewing or biting difficulty and jaws or teeth that seem out of proportion, because it may signal a bigger problem. As a general rule of thumb, if in doubt about your teeth, ask an orthodontist.Oral functions are Impacted. Misaligned jaws and teeth can cause a person to have difficulty chewing and eating. It can also lead to jaw joint problems, tooth fracture, abnormal tooth wear and even periodontal trauma. Using invisible braces can help provide a long-term solution to these dental health issues. You have an excessive overbite. Orthodontists say that overbite is normal, and in fact, it is hereditary. Severe ones can cause problems like gum disease and can lead to poorly maintained oral hygiene. Correcting an overbite is usually easier among children. In adults, jaw surgery may be required.Visit COST OF INVISIBLE BRACES | Invisible Braces Price

Do I need braces HELP!! [[with pictures]]?

Your teeth are actually pretty good, which means your probably wouldn't need braces on for too long - maybe a year. I can see that you need your bottom teeth straightened out, and your top teeth a bit more aligned with each other, but that won't take too long. When you get braces they also "add on" to smaller teeth and get rid of chips in your teeth. However, you don't need braces - your teeth look okay without them.

On the down side of braces, they're expensive. Sometimes you have to go in the normal time (once every two months or something like that), and sometimes you have to go once a week. Your days of eating popcorn and other hard snacks are over. And your teeth hurt a lot sometimes, and the inside of your mouth gets scratched pretty badly. I have to be honest, I have braces, and I don't see how anyone could ever want them. I'm on prescription painkillers, have been since I've gotten them put on - and I've had them on for almost two years.

So that's the good and the bad of braces. Some people don't feel any pain at all with them in, others do. Some people are lucky with the amount of work needed done, and some people are unlucky. All depends. But if you want braces, then get them - the younger you are, the better. You don't want to be doing it when you're older. My mom has braces, and she's 51! So you don't want to be doing that lol.

Do braces really help?

Yes, but only if you follow the instructions of your orthodontist with utmost care.I had gap between my teeth and they were not even in proper shape. So I had a problem with a proper bite. I first went to my orthodontist in 2013. She recommended me to wear braces. In the beginning she applied fixed braces on my teeth. Believe me those 1–2 weeks after wearing braces were the hardest. I couldn't even feel my teeth for first 2 weeks. I had problems with eating as well.I used to visit my orthodontist every month since then. Many people get tired of this routine & leave the treatment in between. I followed the routine for almost two and hard years. Finally it was time to remove fixed braces. I was happy until my orthodontist gave me retainers (braces that can be removed anytime). She said teeth have tendancy to return back to their previous shape & positions. So I had to wear retainers everyday to let my teeth fix at their new position.I still wear them whenever I feel the need but that's very rare. But I'm happy and more confident with my teeth now.In pics…Fixed braces.Retainer braces.

I need jaw surgery and braces but no one will help me?

Someone else here answered the same way: How do you know you need orthognathic surgery? If someone (a dental/medical professional) is recommending surgery and they do not do it, they should be able to refer you to someone who does. You can call orthodontists, oral surgeons, or cosmetic/plastic surgeons in your area to see who does orthognathic surgeries. Then make an appointment to see that doctor to get a diagnosis and plan. As an orthodontist, I do not do the surgery but I work with quite a few surgeons in my area to coordinate my orthodontic treatment with their surgery treatment to get the best result for our patient.
