Can an engineer become a school teacher?

I would like to give an example of my friend Er Ankur Pandey . He is an Computer Science Engineering graduate from a decent college of Gwalior M.P, India. He has started his career as a Mathematics tutor and used to teach pupil during his engineering as well and worked under one coaching institute who used to be top coaching institute in area.He engraved gems under other’s institute and finally after gathering all his courage and experience, he started his own venture as Next Gen Classes in same area. His ~90% student scored A Grade in mathematics and science and some of them are qualified for Mathematics Olympiad, Science Olympiad and KVPY that too National Level. His hard work and unique style of teaching grew his revenue from ~7LPA to ~14LPA in a year only and has many offers of Head of department and Teaching from renown schools of Gwalior. One of the interesting thing that top coaching institute which did not value him, is ready to collaborate with him now because of certain business losses. He did not do any course but if you want to you can go for BEd to have better chances and opportunities.PS: I and Ankur grew and studied together in school time and this is not a fabricated story. This motivates me and i hope it will motivate you as well.

What should I teach, Elementary or High School?

Well, I'm in a program right now that allows me to "student teach" in a fifth grade setting. I really enjoy that grade level, but I'm starting to look into High School now. In the beginning I didn't want to do High School because I didn't want to teach the same subject all day long. But I have a teacher that teaches College English, Senior English, Psychology, and Sociology, and I would love a teaching job like that. I was wondering what the pro's and con's are of teaching elementary vs. high school. I'm also wondering how someone can become licensed to teach two different subjects. I'm going to GVSU to get my teaching degree, and I plan to major in English, if that helps!

What chemistry fundamentals do middle school teachers wish elementary teachers taught?

The phases / states of matter and their relative temperatures and densities. For example, gas = least dense, highest temperature. The fact that all matter is made of atoms, and an idea of what an atom is and how small it is.The fact that different materials are made from different combinations of elements.Water and everything there is to know about water! Its properties, chemical formula, freezing and boiling point, etc.How to measure fluids and solids in small(ish) amounts. Practice with graduated cylinders and balances would be AWESOME!

How do you become a teacher in Ontario? Canada...?

Hey, my name is Courtney and I am 15.

I really want to become a teacher. I plan on become an elementary school teacher and teach grades 1-6.

I want to know, what should I do now?

In highschool, what types of courses should I take? I am great in English, History, (social sciences) some types of sciences, but Im not good at Chemistry or Physics. I am good at Biology, but my teacher told me I shouldn't take Biology unless I take Chemistry first because then it will be so hard. But I am so bad at chemistry!!!

I am alright in Math but I do struggle.

What courses should I take during high school?

And can someone explain the process on how to become a teacher after high school?

How can I become a government school teacher after a B.Tech. in India?

From what I understood from your question is that you wish to teach in a government school and you have B.Tech degree.I'm assuming that you are asking for high schools. If not go to the next section.Depending on your branch you could apply for related subjects.Like a computer engineer could apply for the job of computer instructor. However it's a little difficult for other branches, as schools have to hire persons holding B.Sc./M.Sc. (Bachelor/Master of Sciences) degrees in that subject (for Physics, Chemistry and Biology). For primary schools, to teach at some places the B.Tech. degree might suffice (it's good to ask at specific schools). But mostly schools will ask for B.Ed./D.Ed (Bachelor/ Diploma in Education) degree.Hope this helps.

How to become a teacher?

I was just wondering if a person earns their B.A. in English, how could they use this to become an English teacher? I get mixed answers as to what a person needs to do to (some have said you need your teaching certificate which only takes a year(?), some have said you need to go back to school and major in education, some have said you need your Masters in teaching in order to do it... things like this). As I also said this is not for elementary education, but to be an English teacher. Can anyone clarify things for me?

Am I smart enough to be a elementary teacher?

I am homeschooled. And I didn't pay any attention at all. I did video school but never watch the videos or read my history or literature. So I am a senior now and am going to do college online. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 7.

I am not good at spelling.
I don't know much about English or literature.
I stink a math and I'm a slow adder.
I don't have a clue how to do algebra or chemistry. I can read of course but not sure how to explain it.
What can I do to become smarter and fix this?
Also I don't know much history.
I am also very very shy and quiet, which is why I'm Doing it online first year. I want I teach 1st or 2nd grade.
I appreciate all advice and any ideas on what I can do to prepare myself.
Thank you!
