How to unlock an iPod touch without computer, internet or iTunes?
Alright, so I found an iPod and it's all cracked and stuff. It surprisingly works fine. But, the last person who had it must have had a passcode. I don't have wifi, a computer, and I don't want to use iTunes. I do have an iPhone however, so is there a way to completely reset the iPod without having to use a computer or wifi? Because I have no clue what all is on the iPod, and I could care less. I just want to unlock it, so please, someone try to find a way and help me out here.
Can you unlock iphone without itunes?
Yes, it is possible. You just have to know the right people. But you have to be careful. If someone doesn’t know EXACTLY what to do, DO NOT give it them. Otherwise, your phone will “lock” permanently and you’ll have to buy a new iphone.

IPhone iTunes error 1015?
THIS IS THE FIX!! FIX FOR ERROR 1015 Recovery Loop on Itunes I usually just take take take, but here it is I am giving back to me Peers FIRST find and download iREB 4.0.x/4.1 r2 <-- that is the second version see the r2, mine worked using this also you need to have Custom Firmware 4.1 which comes with the 6.15.00 baseband which can be unlocked I've gone ahead and uploaded the files for you to download here --> iphone 3g --> http://www.filefactory.com/file/b48b0ec/n/iPhone1_2_4.1_8B117_Custom_Restore.ipsw iREB --> http://www.filefactory.com/file/b48b0f2/n/22773-iREB_4.0.x-4.1-RC2.exe sorry if the downloads are slow, it was a free site, you could always try and find your own customs, or build your own with a mac is what I recommend using pwnage tool So first you run iREB, you choose your iphone let it do its thing and follow the on screen instructions to put your phone into DFU mode. ONCE iREB is finished your iPhone will either have some cool snowflake on it or be some random color, mine was green, now you are ready to restore via ITUNES with your custom firmware, you should have the custom firmware downloaded by now, HOLD SHIFT then click restore, browse to the custom firmware and let it restore.. do not exit iREB when it is almost finished it will error out to 1015 :) THAT IS OKAY Do not use redsnow or anything on this, this is already a jailbroken custom file Now when its on the connect to itunes part on your iPhone, go back to iREB on the Tabs click on the second one Recovery, you will see two options click on the top one it says True auto boot, let it do its work :) and and and and VOILA!!! chikka chikka ah! ! give it 2 minutes and you should be ready to roll!! :) ROMANIANS ROCK!! never forget it :) IF THIS WORKS PLEASE THUMBS UP IT, everyone should know!! ;-) you're welcome for finally giving back
How much does it cost to have an iPhone unlocked?
Let me tell you first how apple unlocks their phones. The only way to unlock an apple device like an iphone is through apple’s servers. That is the only way. Carriers or other parties usually have to go through apple’s system to ask for the phone to be unlocked with the IMEI as the reference. This does not take effect instantly. It takes a few hours to days for the unlocking to happen. You also need a mac or PC and internet connection and need to connect the phone to itunes so that the online apple service can remove the lock status of the iphone.Option #1: Safe and usually free if not cheapUsually, the carrier that locked it offers FREE unlocking when out of contract or sometimes even if contract is still ongoing.Look at their website’s FAQs or support section for isntructions.Have your IMEI number prepared by dialling *#06# on the phone dialer to show your IMEI number. Some carriers do charge some fee (around 20usd) here in NZ. A spare change for complete freedom. This is how i unlocked my iphone 4s yearsa back. The iPhone 7plus i own came in unlocked from my carrier. :)Option #2: Takes a bit of time than carrier’s method and a bit expensive. Not 100% reliableThese are the tech shops that advertises iphone unlocking services. They charge higher fees because it is hard for a third party small business to get hands of unlocking priviliges from apple. They usually have a contact with more privileges that they too have to pay from the fee they charge you. Not all locked carriers are supported. Do ask first. Make sure they are registered business in case after 2 days or few days unlocking didn’t work. Make sure they are not a temporary store so that you can go back if ever their services don’t work. Ask for warranty and refund terms.Option #2: Quite risky, takes a little bit longer time to process and lots of services are fraudulent. This second option are the third party iphone unlocking services online. The website will certainly ask for your IMEI*. They are the geeks who does unlocking for a higher fee and usually a scam even if there are seemingly legit feedback. They can fake it ya know. Tread carefully.*Be very careful since IMEI is unique to a specific phone inlcuding iphones. This can be used for frauds, used on fake phones and committing crimes that might cause you trouble.
How do you unlock an iPhone that is locked?
Depends on your particular situation and the carrier to which it is locked. Most carriers provide complete instructions about how to request an unlock. If it is your phone, the best course of action is to contact your carrier and ask if they can unlock it for you. In most cases, phones under contract cannot be unlocked until the contract is completed. But there are exceptions. For example, if you have an account “in good standing” they may unlock it for you. Sprint can unlock it for international travel, etc. Each of the carriers can look at your particular situation and decide. Verizon does not lock its 4G devices that it sells on contract but it locks pre-paid devices. Ideally, you need to do your homework before buying your iPhone from the carrier or buy directly at full price from Apple that sells international unlocked devices .If it is a used iPhone that you got from someone else and you cannot use it on the network of your choice, again you will need to unlock it or return it to the seller. Paying for services on the Internet to unlock it for you is always hit or miss. Again, ideally, you always should get an unlocked iPhone if you buy it from someone else.

How do I unlock my iPhone without a SIM card?
You don't need an active SIM card to activate an iPhone; any SIM card that matches the carrier that an iPhone is locked to will work, or if the iPhone is unlocked, any SIM card should do. You will need to activate the iPhone via a USB connection to iTunes in this case which will processes the activation via your computer over the Internet, and in this case neither iTunes nor iOS cares about whether the SIM card is active. So, knowing this, if you can find an old SIM card laying around, or borrow somebody else's old SIM card, try sticking it in your iPhone and going through the activation process. It will either work or it won't (usually if the iPhone is locked and the SIM doesn't match), but you won't damage your iPhone or hurt anything by trying.Even if you find an old full-sized SIM card, you can cut it down to micro-SIM size to insert into your iPhone. If it's a dead SIM card anyway, you've got nothing to lose by trying this either, and instructions and templates for doing this can be easily found online. If you really can't get your hands on any SIM card whatsoever, your only other option is to resort to jailbreaking tools that will effectively bypass the activation process, colloquially known as "hactivating" an iPhone. A wide variety of information and tutorials for doing this can be found online, particularly if you search for "hactivate iPhone" so there's not much point in going into them in detail here.
