What is the main difference between Graphic Design & Multimedia Artist?
I am going to go back to school to go into the field of either graphic design or Multimedia. They offer certificates in both. I am not sure which area is linked to what I am looking to do. I would like to be able to design planners, calendars, plus brochures, flyers, logos, but also websites, interactive media maybe in the education field. I want to stay away from as much programming (math based) areas, and just focus on creative expression but in print and internet forms. Which is there more demand for? Does one encompass the other?
A career in audio engineering?
what courses to take? how to make it a career? i just want information about this because its something i think id like to do. by audio engineering i mean recording artists and working on records and stuff

The same EXACT thing happened to me. I was majoring in accounting and hated it. I started doing bad and lost my passion for school. This was right after my second year of college. I took a year off, worked at a part time job and just tried to find myself and see what I really wanted to do in life. I'm going back this fall and I'm going to major in environmental science and then maybe go to grad school in public health. If you are like i was, change your major or take a year or semester off of school. You can always go back once you have some time to yourself to reflect on your life. You can even try your hand in creative writing. Don't give up hope. Just be glad that this happened to us now, and not after we graduated and got a job in accounting. Then we would be miserable for the rest of our lives. Sometimes it's better to major in something less practical that you would actually enjoy. Life is too short to be miserable your whole life. Do what you are passionate about and the money will come. Good luck :)
