Do I Need To Have Fingerprints Too Or Just Medical Report For My Green Card Interview

How Long Does it take to recieve green card after fingerprints?

Fingerprinting doesn't mean your green card has been approved, or will be approved soon. Your application will still go through the entire process, which may take 6 months to 5 years depending on how soon your security check, mainly FBI name check, is completed, and what your priority date was. See this page for more details: http://immigrationroad.com/green-card/uscis-security-check.php

If you already received i-485 approval and then was asked to do fingerprint just for the production of your green card, you could expect to see the card in the mail within 1 - 3 weeks.

Can I get my Green Card renewal denied?

Hi, I was wondering what I would have to declare on a green card application/interview. I've had some run-ins with the law in the past, and I was wondering what I would have to declare on the application. I'd rather not get into detail unless I have to in order to get my question answered.

I understand that on the N400, you have to declare all arrests and citations (if not minor moving violations). Is it the same thing for a green card application and interview? I have a past arrest involving charges that were dismissed, and thereafter was issued a citation that was also dismissed, so I have no convictions and a clear criminal record. Do I have to just declare the offenses and show the court dispositions, or do they have to go as deep as the arrest record etc.? My concern is that I they may use the police record to show that I have admitted to the essential action of a crime and consider me inadmissible. I know for naturalization they have to establish that I have good moral character, but is a green card renewal more black and white in terms that as long as I don't have a conviction I'm ok?

Hopefully the clear criminal record would speak for itself and that they would not ask for any more documents. Or if I have to declare the offenses, that they simply look at the dispositions and final outcome, which show that I'm clear. I wouldn't have any other issues with the requirements, I can prove that I am a LPR, and that I have been in the country for 5 years etc. I was going to apply for naturalization, but I'm going to wait 5 years to establish good moral character. My green card, however, expires in 2 years, so I need to know what to do. Don't tell me I need to consult an immigration attorney, I already am, I just want some opinions, or someone with knowledge on this to share what they know. Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

How far along in an government job interview do they ask for fingerprinting and background checks?

sure, history tests are favourite. Your hiring will now be based upon the outcomes of a helpful history verify. A helpful history verify ability that they've widespread your previous employers and education as real. A history verify is going previous them only calling up your references and verifying that they exist, besides as their dating to you. situation is, maximum references will supply gleaming comments of you besides because of the fact they have been coached via you to achieve this (a minimum of i'm hoping so). So this, in and of itself, isn't fairly helpful information for any human components branch to pay interest too. What I anticipate they are going to do is call up your previous places of employment and only confirm you easily worked there. in addition they are going to make certain any in the previous motives which you gave as to why you left, have been laid off, etc. additionally, i'm hoping that they call up your previous academic institutions to easily confirm you easily carried out the diplomas and/or stages which you have have been given claimed. This 2nd step is needed because of the fact some human beings have been caught years later with faux stages and diplomas that they offered from non-existent institutions in foreign places international places. Even severe-point CEO's have been caught with this. i might anticipate any helpful and good business enterprise to try this. they choose for to be actually specific of who they are hiring only as much as you decide on for to confirm of the extensive-unfold of the business enterprise you could desire to be working for. suited of success. i'm hoping which you get the job. And it sounds to me such as you're able to have already got......

Waiting for Green card under F1 visa status.?

When he naturalizes he can apply for adjustment of status for his wife - that will give her permanent resident status (ie a green card) - her initial status is conditional and her green card will be valid for only 2 years - 90 days before the end of the 2 years she must apply to have the conditions removed and at that time she will get a 10 year green card - once she has been married to her husband for 3 years after the time at which he became a US citizen she can apply for naturalization herself. If he is going to naturalize before her F1 visa runs out there is no need to do anything about her status before he becomes a citizen although she should be careful if she has to leave the US and re-enter on her F1 during that period because she can't legally enter on the F1 if she has the intent of staying in the US.

Are employers required to give time off for fingerprint and citizenship interviews?

Nope.

I am a truck driver and according to Homeland Insecurity folks I need to get a background check before I can renew my license to haul certain commodities. I have to get me fingerprints and identity checked every four years (though no one in Congress needs do this). If I don't get it done, I can't renew my license. I take time from work to get it done. For an elective situation like citizenship, there is no requirement to be given time off.

The Family Medical Leave Act mentioned above is unconstitutional as the federal government has no authority to dictate benefits for employees of private companies.

Do I need a Lawyer for Green card???

You do not need a lawyer. Save your money for the application fees because they are not cheap. You are a college student so I am assuming you are fairly intelligent. The only reason I say this is that it does take some time and excellent reading comprehension to read throught he forms
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
This is the website. You can download all the forms you need from there. I was suprised to find them very helpful when I called with questions as well. I did it without a lawyer for my husband, who is from Germany. If your married to a US citizen the process is relatively easy. Keep in mind that you will need to have your residence in the US during the entire process. Even after you have the green card there are restrictions on how long you can live outside of the US. Finally, it takes a long time for the in person appointments so be patcient. We had to relocate out of the country for work just after we recieved notice of our in person appointment. Due to the assignment we had to withdraw the application and will start again when we move back in a couple of months. I can't give you any tips on that final part and I do not know what to expect. (By the way, the basic fees you pay for the lawyer will not make the process faster and you still have to give them all the detailed information. They are simply filling out the same forms and navigating the process....it will be a little more work for you but you will save alot of money)

How long does it take to recieve your green card after doing a biometrics?

You should get your Green Card any day now. It's rather unlikely that you as a K-1 will have an interview, so all you have to do is wait for the Green Card to arrive in the mail. Open every envelope, because the Green Card envelope is very plain and looks like spam begging to be thrown into the trash!

Whats Next after the Biometrics appointment?

next you should receive your work permit and then after that, you will be waiting for your I-485 to be approved or denied. (if you filed for that)

We filed our AOS packet (I-485 & biometrics) Feb of this year and my husband got his work permit in either April or May and then he got hius green card in July. We also had a RFE (request for more evidence) and that stalled us about 3 weeks time!

We did the K1 visa process and our case was sent to some state i forget and then it was transferred to California, they then approved us and we had no interview, yay!

good luck!!

Why do you agree or disagree with Melania Trump’s statement that “victims who make accusations of sexual misconduct need to have really hard evidence”?

I was young. Not even a teen. Maybe 11.He was 18. My cousin. Someone I thought I could trust. It was dark. There was no evidence. He weighed about 250 pounds.I wasn’t even 100 pounds.People told me I must have been showing too much skin. That I shouldn’t have gone in the room with him if something like this would happen. That I was asking for it. I was easy. A slut.I was 14 years old when I brought the accusations against him. My friends supported me and were ready to testify against him.The case was dropped. Because there ‘wasn’t enough evidence’. Even though there’s an audio recording of him admitting to it. That’s what ‘not enough evidence’ looks like to our court system. That me bawling my eyes out and screaming when he came near me and begging my parents to get him away from me isn’t enough. That my friends have the exact same story as me. The details are identical from what I told them. It’s not enough. It was never enough. Every day I suffer, sitting in a room screaming and crying as I try to forget what happened. My friends hold me and listen to me. But they never say that it’s okay. Because they know that it’s not. They believe the accused over me.I remember, I asked my friend once why he believed me. Because my cousin was a golden boy university student with no priors, and I was a 14-year-old girl with anger issues and a shitty family. He told me that he would have to be stupid to not believe me. Because it doesn’t matter my family or anything else. I was assaulted. And he would believe me.I wish I could say everyone said that to me. But they didn’t. They hung their heads and told me to think about what I was doing to his future. I was ruining his life. Because it was my fault I got assaulted. And it was my fault that the case got dropped. I didn’t have enough evidence.Melania Drumpf does not speak for any sexual assault survivors. She doesn’t know the fear that you go through when you report. The anxiety that the person you’re accusing will find you and hurt you. The vindication and victim blaming that happens constantly in the courtroom and everywhere else. She doesn’t know what it’s like. And we’re not ruining the accused’s lives. We’re trying to tell people our story, what happened to us.
