Sweetie, if you are only going for a checkup (I assume so since you don't mention any particular problems you are having) the chance that your doctor will have some sort of bad news for you is so small as to be nonexistant. You are only 17, presumably in good health generally, and really don't have anything to worry about. I assume, as well, that you have an appointment coming up soon...just try to keep yourself distracted in the meantime; perhaps make a trip to your local library and find something to read which requires a fairly high level of concentration on your part. If you have not already read it, you might try Douglas Adams' anthology, The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. This volume contains 5 complete Hitchhiker novels and has several simultaneous story lines, thus requiring a fair amount of concentration to keep all the characters and their stories straight. Another series you might try is the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde: The Eyre Affair, Lost in a Good Book, and The Well of Lost Plots. They are not exactly sci-fi and not exactly fantasy, rather they follow the adventures of the character Thursday Next in a parallel world called Bookworld. okay mom took my phone away because I was using Facebook (I'm 18 too). I have NO friends in reality and I had 234 in Facebook. She seems to not understand I'm very lonely and depressed. What can I do to convince her I'm very misserible and I have NO life coz she's wrecking it! How do I get my Kik to not be stuck on “Connecting”? (read details)?
Since five days ago, my Kik page has been stuck on “Connecting” at the top. Each of my messages I’ve sent is stuck on “s”. The problem isn’t on my end in terms of connection, because my WiFi and cellular data is working fine for everything else on my phone. Even in the app, I can search things, log in, etc. It’s just the main messages page when I open the app stuck on “Connecting”. I’ve tried closing the app (stopping background activity and everything) at least a hundred times. I’ve toggled the connection in my phone on and off. I’ve restarted my phone at least a dozen times. I eventually even logged out and later deleted and redownloaded the app, which I’ve now done at least a dozen times, which was a last resort because it erased my entire chat history. Nothing is working. I’ve never seen or heard of a problem like this before, where even deleting the app isn’t working. I have an IPhone X, iOS 12, and the most updated version of Kik. Is there anything else I can try? Thank you so much.

Whenever I finished typing and describing my product on selling page, I always get the message that said I need to confirm my identity on the phone in order to finish up and could successfully post something to sell. Then I took a verification test to become a verified seller and buyer and did get qualified. I paid five dollars for the application. Dont Worry everything will be fine, I have braces now and I had them before too, when I was 9. I also had a pallette expander before i had braces. What mine did it could come out and everything, but it stuck to the top of you mouth and what it does and expands the roof of your mouth so you can bite correctly. I had to take mine out when I ate. Foods with braces that your not supposed to have are: Popcorn (Hull-less is okay), Nuts and peanut brittle, ice, Hard candy & Candied apples (What i did with hard candy i just sucked on it forever), all hard chips and cookies, Raw fruits and vegetables (hard), Gum (even sugarless)(I still chew gum, don't tell anybody!!!), Fruit roll-ups amd gummy bears, Taffy and caramels (still eat those too shhh!!), Starbursts, mike & ikes, and dots, Bit-O-Honeys, Skittles and airheads, milk duds amd sugar daddies. You don't have to follow this completely, I know i don't, but be VERY careful!!! Treats you can have: Potato Chips and corn puffs, M & M's & Reese's Pieces, KitKats & Junior mints, Nestle Crunch & Peppermint Patties, Mounds & Reese's peanut butter cups, Hershey Kisses, 3 musketeers, Ice cream, sherbert, and frozen yogurt. Orthodontic 'No-no's': Lip Biting, Pushing your tongue against your appliance or braces, chewing on fingers, pencils, or pens, tearing thing with your teeth, and biting your fingernails. How Braces Are Put ON: First of all they clean your teeth then the put cement on the bracets and put the bracets on each tooth. Then, the put the wire through and you've got braces. Flossing with braces: The orthodontist will give you a threader to do this: You have to take the floss thread it through the wire and between the brackets and then floss...it takes forever! but don't worry the doc will show you how. Do Braces Hurt: Yes, they do. But it only lasts for the first couple of days so don't worry. I have them now (I'm 14) and I already had the before when i was 9. after the first couple of days you get used to them and you cant even feel them anymore. But the downfall, when you go to your checkup, and they tighten them....you'll go through the same thing..they will hurt again for the first couple of days..so don't worry I know alot of young kids that go through this. So my mom grounded my phone and is going through my messages and such. the bad part is that ive been texting my new boyfriend. a lot. and we talk about how we make out and such. like dirty stuff and i tell all my girlfriends about what happened (Every detail) (yeah i know i should have deleted my messages, but she never takes my phone up!) so waht do i do now? She's had it for like an hour and she's just laying in bed reading it. how can i get it back or distract her or something. either way im screwed. shes going to ground me for life and give me a huge lecture and maybe not let me see my boyfriend anymore.
