Do I Put On Hydrocortizone Cream On After The Sitz Bath

How safe is it to use expired hydrocortisone?

I am a veteran Hemorrhoids suffered (having had this condition for more than 30 years - since my early 20's), I have almost got use to it and accepted it per the advice of my doctor and after several failed habituation sessions and visits to a specialized nutritionist. I really thought there was nothing I could do to improve the quality of my life and end the mild but painful Hemorrhoids until about a years ago when the pain and bleeding started to became unbearable.
I have felt so enlightened and lucky to have found this guide: https://tr.im/CureYourHemorrhoids

Note that:
Diarrhea can contribute to hemorrhoid formation because the bowel undergoes pressure strains due to the condition. Undue pressure on the veins that make up internal hemorrhoidal structures can worsen existing damage. Internal hemorrhoids are not visible, unless they proplapse (protrude) from the anus, either constantly or during a bowel movement. If this is the case, then you have a grade III or IV internal hemorrhoid. If the protrusion is on the anal verge or the area surrounding the anus, then its likely an external hemorrhoid. Reducing pressure from issues of diarrhea and constipation will help. Not straining during a bowel movement, not lifting heavy objects, not sitting for extended periods, all will help

Are steroid creams (Proctozone HC) effective in treating anal fissures?

I've had a stubborn anal fissure for awhile now. I finally went to see a gastroenterologist, who prescribed Proctozone HC (to be used internally). I'm supposed to use it for 2 weeks. But some websites say that steroid creams are ineffective in treating anal fissures. Any truth to this?

In addition to the cream, I'm trying to increase the amount of fiber I get, and am taking baths.

If your hemorrhoids itch, does that mean they're healing?

It is easier for most women and men to understand external hemorrhoids since they are on the surface, but exactly how do hemorrhoids which are within the body result in hemorrhoid itching and burning on the outside? Hemorrhoids in general result in these types of symptoms both directly, and indirectly.Source Natural remedies for hemorrhoids – Rory Maginnis – MediumInflammation is usually the bodys first line of defense. Whenever the body is injured, inflammation occurs as a way of protecting itself and initiating the healing process. Blood vessels swell up, pain nerves fire, and the immune cells attempt to solve the problem. Without inflammation, wounds would not be able to heal. Most of the hemorrhoid creams currently available for external hemorrhoids contain a topical anesthetic which will stop pain within minutes. In the event that internal hemorrhoid itching is bringing about the issue, ibuprofen works best simply because ibuprofen serves as both a painkiller as well as an anti-inflammatory.Inside the body, internal hemorrhoids irritate the mucus membrane lining the anal canal producing excess mucus. This is the bodys way of trying to lubricate the area. If this mucus escapes the body and gets onto the skin, it causes dry skin and inevitably hemorrhoid itching.Additionally, the demand that an inflamed internal hemorrhoid places on the encompassing blood vessels could cause sensations of hemorrhoid itching as well as burning as blood moves more quickly, leading to instant swelling over the entire region.Obviously, when an external hemorrhoid becomes inflamed it can be very painful and cause annoying and sometimes unbearable hemorrhoid itching and burning. If one gives into the urge to scratch or rub, this can irritate the surrounding skin. The skin around the anus is filled with numerous oil glands whose job is to lubricate and clean the area. When we scratch or rub this area, it is deprived of the natural oils and hemorrhoid itching occurs.Soothing creams with cocoa butter, regular sitz-baths in warm water, medicated pads, and wearing loose fitting clothing can all aid in helping with hemorrhoid itching. Stay away from harsh chemical treatments or cleansers.

Sore bum crack!!!?

First, it's important to keep in mind that he is in no way "dirty", gross, or "unclean",. I respect your bravery for posting this on his behalf. A lot of "bum" issues go unaddressed because of embarrassment or the fear of being thought of as a dirty person. Here are some things that have helped people with IBD ...severe bum issues there :(

1) Sitz baths or a warm water bath (not hot), every evening and in the morning. Follow with air drying and his preferred choice from the treatments below.

2) use flushable diaper wipes, alcohol free, to clean after using the restroom. They can also be used to "freshen up" the sweat affected area.

3) He can try %1.0 hydrocortisone cream to reduce the redness and itching.

...Alternatively, a mix of Desitin or A&D(for protection from moisture) and Nupercainal (pain relief) will work to both protect and numb his bum.

4) finally, he should try an miconazole in case this is a yeast or fungus. Again... that wouldn't make him an unclean peson.. just a human being :) It's very easy to get such infections.

hope all goes well!
