Do Informed Americans Know That The Immigrant Hearings Take A Long Time Because Congress Refuses To

Japanese Internment Camp Research help, please??

Hello, I may need alittle help on a research project on Japanese Internment Camps. I just need some good research sites where I can find some good info on this topic that is easy to read. Unfortunately, I also have to make a bibliography for the websites I researched at. It has to contain:

Name of website. Editor/Author. Date edited. Name of Organization. Date of access. Web address.

I would really appreciate your help. Because I really don't know why the hell my ENGLISH II teacher has to give us a project like this that involves difficult research...

So remember, I need some good websites on research on Japanese Interment Camps that contained the information for the bibliography example I showed above.

*If it doesn't have anything unimportant on it like, Date of access or Editor/Author, its ok ^_^

THANKS:)

Why are Americans in an uproar over illegal immigrants families being being broken up, when the U.S. court system and CPS has been breaking up American families for years?

“Why are Americans in an uproar over illegal immigrants families being being broken up, when the U.S. court system and CPS has been breaking up American families for years?”No idea. They are obviously as ignorant as their congresspersons and I will now explain why.A President does not make the laws. The job of a President is to enforce laws. That is why a POTUS is Chief Executive. They are essentially whining in the wrong direction. Congress made all immigration laws so they should get on the phone, Twitter, Facebook, wherever and complain to their Congresspersons if they don't like it because ONLY Congress can change it.They need to stop behaving like assholes and demanding the President break the vows of his office by not enforcing immigration laws.Attention any Congressperson that might be reading this. The following is for you.You people that are in Congress! If you are too ignorant to know that it is your job to make, change or repeal laws then please resign already because you are useless. STOP blaming the President for enforcing YOUR laws. If you don't want them enforced then change them, but please stop trying to pass the blame to the President for doing his job. This is exactly why the US needs congressional “Term Limits”.

What is it about La Raza when they say-For the Race everything For those outside the race nothing?

They would be watched and considered racist in no time. I find la raza insulting and racist. They try to hide the real definition and the real racism of this group, but we all know the truth about them and I consider this group a threat to our nation.

The English translation, and the first definition found in Spanish/English dictionaries, for “la raza” is “the race.” Contrary to La Raza’s contention that the phrase means “the people,” or “the community,” the Spanish for those phrases are “la gente,” and “la comunidad.”

I am surrounded by republicans!?

Hey!
So, first: I don't want to offend anyone, so if you are a very strong republican, you should probably hit that x :(

*This is really important*
I recently moved to Georgia from Connecticut. Obviously, Georgia is much more republican than democrat. My family has raised me to be a very strong democrat, and I'm very active in community politics and Young Democrats of GA. However, I have recently had trouble with the kids in my school; the republican ones.

For example, I was sitting at lunch and this kid starts talking about how homophobic he is. I'm a very strong gay rights supporter, and I kind of went off on him. It was along the lines of "Your crazy," "You need therapy," and "Maybe you have some personal issues."
He then went on to ask me who I would vote for, and gave me the most disgusting stare when I said Obama. I am very politically educated ( :D ), and I had a whole bunch of facts, after he didn't have any. But what he did have: friends. All of his friends went around supporting him. Now, there were only four of them, but it really hurt me. All they kept on saying was "I hate gay people" "Obama is the worst president we've had."

Okay, Next. In history, we need to do a debate. One side: Why we should NOT vote for Mitt Romney. Other side: Why we should NOT vote for Obama. I, of course, am randomly selected for the "Other" side. I don't know what to do. The kid that was really mean to me at lunch is in my group. I was literally shaking when I realized I was in that group. AND, even though I'm not the only democrat in my section, I am the only democrat in my small group. They split each half into two halves. So, all of my democrat friends in the "Don't vote for O" group are in the other half of our group.

I'm all alone! I don't know what to do, in general. Am I overreacting? Is there something I should do to seem more confident (because I just get angry). Anyone been in this situation?

Anything at all?!?!?!

What is the chance of us visa approval after administrative processing?

As far as I know US visas are either confirmed or denied immediately. Before applying for UK citizenship I applied for a US visa in the London embassy and after a long waiting in this room where no electronic devices were allowed to include mobiles. I was called for a pre-screening were this really nice lady noticed that I forgot to tick one box, really I mean just one tick. So, remember the no electronic items, yes.... had to leave the embassy find an internet cafe, open the form, tick the box, and save. (20 minutes trip for 10 seconds amendment eheh)after going back she called me again, checked that I amended the form and took all my documentation and asked me to wait.2 hours later I was called in a different area for an interview, this actually pleasant guy asked me some basic information and within 3 minutes said."ok, thank you... have a nice day" I asked what did this mean, and he said it was approved and my passport should be back in around a week.week later got my passport backSo all of this to say that if they keep your passport at the "interview" it is probably good news, there was no harm in asking

Once you get U.S. Citizenship, can it be revoked?

Once you get U.S. Citizenship, can it be revoked? This question lacks important information. The starting question is: why are you a U.S. citizen? In general U.S. citizenship can be obtained by birth or by naturalization.Citizenship by birth:If you are born in the United States your citizenship cannot be revoked by the U.S. Government - a principle affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court in Afroyim v. Rusk (14th amendment protects individuals from the Government confiscation of citizenship). If you received citizenship by birth because you were born outside the United States to U.S. citizen (parent/parents) you do NOT have the protection of the 14th amendment and in theory your citizenship could be revoked.Citizenship after birth by naturalization:Assuming that citizenship has not been fraudulently obtained, naturalized U.S. citizens have the 14th amendment protections described in Afroyim v. Rusk - the Government cannot revoke your citizenship. If the citizenship was fraudulently obtained, then revocation of citizenship is rare but possible. The citizen has the right to renounce U.S. citizenship. But, renunciation of citizenship may subject them to the S. 877A Exit Tax (wealth confiscation) rules.Renouncing US citizenship?
