Why do Jews hate Christians so much?
Obviusly Yahoo's the same way cuz they delete questions about Jews hating Christians, yet you see TONS of questions on Christians hatin Jews an none of them are deleted. I ask this question cuz the media always makes fun of Christians by makin fun of Jesus (on SNL skits an cartoons) an on Southpark, on talk shows an TV an movies where they mock Jesus make fun of the Pope, or make ministers an priest out to be child molesters, drunks, etc. I've yet to see druken molestin rabbis on TV even tho they molest kids in real life too, not just Christians. I ve yet to see movies that make out Judaism to be a fraud their God an belefs are fake an that there rabbis are hiding an evil conspiracy by killing people. Like was done with Chritians with the Davinci Code. If its OK an just fiction, wud Jews complain if their religion was portrayed that way for entertanment?
Why do Christians, Muslims and Jews hate each other so much despite the fact that their prophets were of the same bloodline of Abraham?
Because,Human beings are designed to rally around a common story, whatever it might be. The sense of belonging to an imagined ancestor (like Jews, Sadaat, Pashtuns etc) or the idea of having a common language (like French and Englishmen or Persians), the idea that having common phenotype makes us superior or vulnerable as a group (white supremacy or black nationalism) or even rather superficial ideas such as owning a footwear (Nike vs Adidas) or following a sports team (Chicago Cubs or Chelsea) has been the only true society-building factor in our history that has allowed human beings to transcend primitive kinship ties and create culture, society, politics and government.Religions besides being belief systems have also been very powerful stories. Believing in them for most people is an issue of belonging to a story or what we would call identity and while a person might shred away every scrap of metaphysics or religious morality, they most often stick to some key components of the stories. So while Muslims and Jews might very well believe in the same God or follow similar rituals, their competition for the ownership of the story is as intense as it is for the followers of Barcelona and Real Madrid during an El Clasico. I mean frankly after-all, Messi and Ronaldo play the very same ball on the very same ground against the very same goals. It’s really not the mere sight of play that excites fanatic followers, it’s the stories and the values they have attached to a physically simple game.That’s very much why, it’s not really Prophet Muhammad’s fault when an Afghan mob beheads a UNHCR guard because someone in Denmark drew a cartoon, that thug would have behaved exactly the same way had someone cursed his mother or insulted his father. Without understanding this rather subtle aspect of religious identity, it’s useless and even counter-productive to argue with a Jew that his God is the same as that of an Arab or to tell Christians that moving Israeli capital to Jerusalem will not bring Jesus down or to try and persuade a Hindu that a cow, no matter how noble she might be is just another mammal. As I said, those concepts to believers are much more than what may seem from outside.
What is the rivalry between christians and jews?
Firstly let it be made clear that no jewish person belives in jesus as the messiah, or god, or anything like that. such beliefs are definitionally something that makes one no longer jewish. I've talked to alot of people over time... there are christians who at least in what they say online, treat all jewish people like they are jesus himself. and there are some who seem to think the jews are the spawn of the devil or something. (its strange to have one person practically kissing your feet, and the other screaming that your the spawn of satan, within a day or two, when both theoretically are of the same greater religious beliefs...) Jews don't hate christians, categorically, any more than most christians hate jews, most on both sides are modrerate and have kinda a mutual toleration thing going. alot of people I've talked to don't seem to try nearly as hard to convert me, upon understanding I'm jewish, as they might someone who was atheist or pagan. though, some aspects of greater christianity make a specific point to attempt to convert jews, and really that sorta thing is quite offensive, especially when it involves profound deception such as in the case of "Messianic jews" and "jews for jesus" where its an obviously christian organization pretending to be jewish, to convince people to convert.
Why do Jewish People hate Christians so much?
I am not talking about catholics, or other denominational churches, but true, Israel loving, Jewish loving, bible believing christians. They love the Jewish people and Love YHVH. They send millions in aid for Israel, and would go to their deaths to protect and defend G-d's chosen people. Why the hatred?
