Do Liberals Realize That Obama Has Already Increased The Debt By More Than What Gw Bush Had Done

Why aren't liberals concerned with the national debt?

Easy.
It's not their money.

Are liberals aware that Ronald Reagan warned us about the disaster that is Obama's presidency?

I’m assuming you’re referring to a video that takes a Ronald Reagan campaign speech from 1961 and juxtaposes it with cherry picked, out-of-context quotes by President Obama and VP Biden. As others have noted, the Obama presidency wasn’t a disaster. Employing the policies that Reagan warned against, Obama helped guide the USA through the Great Recession and handed Trump a booming economy with a low unemployment rate.Reagan, of course, did many of the things during his own presidency he seemed to warn against in 1961. For good reason, the economy of the 1980s and 2000s is very different from the one that existed back in 1961. I would not want a doctor trying to use ’60s era advice to treat my cancer. I would not want a politician using one non-economist’s ideas about the 1960s economy to handle the economic realities of today. In the speech, Reagan warned against the government spending more than it takes in. As president, Reagan increased the debt by nearly a trillion dollars. The USA went from being the world’s biggest creditor to the world’s biggest debtor. In the speech, Reagan complained the USA raised the debt limit three times and warned against this. President Reagan raised the debt limit 18 times. Obama raised it 4 times, by comparison. So, yeah, Reagan in 1961 warned against things the Obama administration did. But Reagan also warned himself. If Reagan didn’t heed his own ancient advice, why expect Obama to? The likely answer is both Reagan and Obama, when president, knew Reagan’s understanding of how the economy in 1961 worked was simply misinformed.tl;dr: Are conservatives aware Ronald Reagan warned us about the deficit spending disaster that was Ronald Reagan’s presidency?Update: Oh, look. Trump just raised the debt limit too. Boy, why didn’t he listen to Reagan from the 1960s! What a jerk, huh?News from The Associated Press

Why did Ronald Reagan increase the national debt?

I am no political expert, but I know Ronald Reagan campaigned on reducing the size of the government and spending less money, but why did the national debt triple during his term?

President Obama left the US with $20 trillion in debt. How much is this likely to increase under President Trump in the next 4 years?

It’s impossible to answer your question at the moment because we don’t yet know which of his initiatives Congress will actually approve. But on the optimistic side, let’s imagine that Congress implements everything Trump wants done, the US debt will be the least of your worries. He plans to drastically lower taxes on the wealthy, on corporations etc. So less revenue for the Federal Government. That in turn means less social services for average Americans. But don’t worry, you’ll have jobs thanks to the infrastructure initiatives he’s going to implement, provided of course you work for one of Trump’s preferred contractors AND don’t mind making less than minimum wage which won’t exist anywys. While you’re happily employed shovelling gravel or whatever, you’d also better hope you don’t get sick or injured becaue if you do, you won’t have any insurance because it’ll have been priced so far out of your reach that you’ve done without, preferring to put food on the table.Speaking of which, the vegetables and fruit that you used to buy, that were imported from places like Mexico have all had tarrifs imposed so a tomato will now cost you more than you make in an hour while doing manual labour to “Make America Great Again”.The TV will report glowing increases in agricultural yields by US farmers but that won’t translate to food on your plate. US factories will be churning out cars that you can’t afford and that long held dream of owning a home will be a distant memory.Don’t forget to say thanks on Jan 20, 2018 because remember, that’ now Trump’s “National Patriotic Celebration” day and you’d better behave!

How did Bush wipe out a federal surplus of 5.6 trillion and add another 10 trillion to the deficit!!?

He was, to put it frankly, an idiot. It's not a coincidence that he was not invited to the GOP convention in Tampa. A former Republican president, not showing up to a Republican convention is unheard of. That alone should tell you all you need to know.

Dumbya Bush = one of the worst presidents in history.
