Do My Friend Look Like Asinn

What does your best friend look like?

She is 5'4, only an inch shorter than I am. She's got a healthy amount of meat on her bones, but she's definitely not fat at all. She has black shoulder-length hair and bright brown eyes. She has a short but sharp, sort of elfish nose and really white teeth that almost blend in with her incredibly pale skin (okay, not really, but close). She usually wears light colored denim jeans and fitted t-shirts, if she's not wearing her tennis gear. She always carries a small red purse with her. And, at least twice a day, she takes Q-tips from that purse and fixes her eyeliner. She tends to be quiet around strangers, but when she's with friends she's the loudest in the group. And she is effing hilarious.

Descriptive enough?

What does a true and good friend look like?

“A friend is not a friend unless he affords protection to his comrade on three occasions: in his adversity, in his absence and at his death.” (Nahjul-Balagha)“Be careful to have truthful friends and try to obtain them, for they are your support when you are in welfare, and your advocator when you have misfortune.” (…)

What is your best friend like?

I call her Bubbles. The name suits her; she’s as bubbly a personality as I’ve ever met. She gets adorably excited over every little thing, and her giggle could make an elephant smile, it’s that infectious. She’s the only one in our friend group that’s as introverted as I am, and it’s for this reason I love hanging out with her. We can sit together, me with my writing and her with her art, companionable in our silence. She’s the one person who can convince me to do dumb things with her, like the time we spent the night on the roof of the school in our pyjamas, talking about anything and everything that came to mind. Her gentle, pleading voice always wins me around every time she needs a partner in crime. She’s observant: she instinctively knows when there’s something wrong. She’s the kind of person who brushes away the “I’m fine”s and “I’m okay”s, holds you tight, kisses the top of your head, and tells you, “I know you’re not.”She’s filled to the brim with mischief, her brown eyes sparkling with it. There’s a smile, a specific smile, that spreads across her face that tells you: she is up to no good. She’s the first person I’d go to if I had a problem, the person I’d spam with anxious texts in the middle of the night, and she regularly does the same to me.She’s the girl that held my hand when I got my braces and people made fun of me, the girl that stuck by me through three crazy years of high school. She’s the one person I’d completely be myself around, the one person who knows me better than I know myself. She’s my best friend.

Which famous person do people say you look like?

Katrina Kaif - a british-indian actress! When I came to India for two months, everyone was telling me I look like "Katrina, the actress" - riksha drivers, shop keepers, friends. I couldn't figure out, how do I look like an Indian woman!I asked my Indian friends to take me for a movie with her, if possible and they did. It was my first bollywood movie ever and it was Zindagi na Milegi Dobara (I must say, that for a foreigner, it is the best choice when starting with Bollywood). I liked the movie and her character, but I didn't see much resemblance with myself. Then I googled her and read that she was voted as the "Sexiest woman of Asia" by People magazine several times and her not-so-typical Indian look is rooted in one of her parents who is a Briton. So I thought it is some indirect compliment on my attractivity and that every foreign girl is told to be "like Katrina" due to sorta "European outlook" (big nose in my case) and lighter tonr of skin.See for yourself!Katrina KaifMe with make up:OK, just kidding, it was on Halloween...This is me:So... are these faces similar to you???It doesn't matter anyway, because each month, in average, one Quora Indian messages me, if I know that I look like Katrina... Incredible! :DWell, I think she is cool, so I really don't mind that possible resemblance, and I like to watch movies with her, as I learned to like her. (No, I don't care if "she is not a good actress", to me all actors and actresses are good, I never saw the difference.)Sometimes I am trying to pretend I am one of her (many) sisters, when people tell me this thing face to face :D.Maybe I would fit into her family?

Has anyone ever told you that you look like someone famous?

Most probably kidding but one of my friends told me that I looked liked Ranbir Kapoor from Jagga Jasoos.Background- December holidays were ending and 4th semester was going to begin. And I had a hope to change everything with my life - grades, personality and maybe relationship status XD. So, with a few new year resolutions I got new glasses and also a clean shaved look.As soon I reached college, I expected that people would be surprised with my look and hopefully they would compliment me because I felt it was better. But instead of that, they made a mockery out of me and tagged me someone like this -So, to get approval I texted one of my good friends who complimented the new look (actually she said new look was better than the previous one). I gained some confidence because in a guys friends circle, you will never get any compliments for anything unless it’s a big feat. Finally, I asked one of my classmates whom I rarely talk. I asked if I was looking better than the previous semester and he was getting confused. I told him that I won’t mind any negative feedback. So, he said that apart from the hair I looked like Jagga Jasoos. And the one below is me -P.S. - I know that I am not even close to Ranbir Kapoor but that compliment from my friend made my day.
