Do Old Do Need To Be To Buy A Staple Gun

What kind of staple gun and staples do I need?

I assume you are talking about those standard coax staples. If you are doing it only once in your house, then all you need is just a hammer. Hammer down the staples every few feet and be careful not to crimp the coax. Crimps or kinks tend to severely degrade your signal!

Regards.

Where can I rent a staple gun?

You can buy one for about $16.
I dont know of any place that rents them.
I guess you could rent one of the fancy electric ones, but for a small job like that all you need is the manual one.

Can staple guns use regular staples?

I am reupholstering a chair, and I have a staple gun, but I am not sure if I have enough staples. Kind of lazy to go to the store, wanted to know if a manual staple gun can use just regular office staples?

What size staples does my staple gun take?

I've googled it, don't worry! I just can't find out! It's one that was given to my husband and I, and it's older (not too old, just not bought in the last few years). It has "GS s9956240" On the side of it. I want to buy staples online because not only do I want bulk, but I'm also 45 minutes from any store that would sell them. Can't see driving it for staples! Any help would be great, thanks! :) (If you ask me a question, come back a a few minutes and I'll reply in an edit!)

Can you get infected with tetanus from a staple?

Tetanus occurs when a wound or opening on the skin surface comes into contact with contaminated articles or soil that contain the tetanus bacilli. If the staple is infected with the bacilli, yes there is a chance , but you need not worry if you had taken vaccine against tetanus.(full course with booster dose)

What kind of staple gun & staples should we use for our basement stairs?

We're looking at attaching some extra (rather thin, like 1/4 inch or so) carpeting on our basement stairs to make them less slippery to go down. The carpet will not really be there long-term, just for the next year or so until we can start renovating the basement. We have the carpet, but are really not sure what type of stapler to use to attach the carpet to the wood stairs.

Any suggestions on what type of stapler is needed? We're hoping a regular heavy-duty one will do but are scared that it may damage the wood. When we finish the basement, those stairs will be covered with newer carpeting but we don't want the stairs damaged to the point that it would make it difficult to have professionals carpet it then.

Do you think a regular heavy duty staple gun would work without damaging the wood?

How many staples would we need to use per stair (they do not have backs to the stairs, only stepping boards)?

Can you use a regular stapler for upholstering?

You will need a staple gun of some sort- they have them at any hardware store and are not very expensive (I bought one when I was poor and in college and wasn't upset about the price even then!). Make sure you get one that uses staples that are long enough for your project, as they come in several different sizes, and remember to buy staples when you buy the gun!

The more traditional styles have a lever that points back like this one:

But I like this newer style where the lever goes forward like this one, as it's easier to squeeze, especially if you're using it repeatedly:
