How to look prettier in picture?
this is my problem too, i look at myself in the mirror and i'm like "wow i look good" but when i take a picture sometimes its just like ugh my self esteem is ruined haha but i have found some tips and tricks: put a lot of makeup on, more than usual but keep in mind that it'll look unnatural in person find a good angle of yourself, i feel like the best angle is to have the camera above your head to make your face look slimmer than if the camera was angled upwards towards your face try out different smiles and see which smile looks best in a picture, once you do the same smile a bunch of times it just comes naturally when you take a picture even if the smile looks unnatural in person if you have smaller eyes than make sure to open them wider but not so wide it looks like their popping out of your head suck in your stomach but not in an unnatural way like a duck haha but it really depends on what works for you, i know its a lot of work but hey if you want to look good, beauty is pain haha hope i helped!!
Does our brain make us see ourselves 5X prettier than we really are?
I saw this and i thought the exact same thing as you at first. But then i thought about it and i dont think its true for two main reasons. First off i think we usually would see ourselves less beautiful than we are because we dont like certain things about ourselves and think that those things are actually a lot worse than they are. Plus we are always with ourselves (obviously) which gives us a lot of time to pick out flaws etc. Also i dont think theres actually a way to measure that someone thinka they are five proportions prettier than they actually are you know what i mean? Not only is beauty or how beautiful someone is an oppinion but it also cant be measured on a scale of numbers anf proportions. It would be hard for everyone to agree that one person is exactly 3 times prettier than someone else or 4 times prettier etc. how would that even be proven or calculated? If you yourself see yourself five times better than you really are then how could anyone else proove. To prove this, you would need to be able to both see yourself in your perspective and in the "real" perspective/ the veiw of others. And its obviously impossible to see yourself in two perspectives aka be two people.. Beauty is oppinionated anyway. What could be 5 times more beautiful to someone could be lets say 2 times more beautiful to one person or 3 times prettier to another. I hope i wasnt too confusing.
Why is my friend so much prettier than me?
Well which ever one you are I think y'all are both really beautiful, actually y'all look alike in many ways and I wouldn't be worried about comparing myself to someone else because everyone is beautiful in their own way, we all have different features that make us beautiful and unique. I honestly couldn't even tell which one you said was prettier because they both looked really beautiful.

Oh if I could only have a dollar for every time I thought I was pregnant. Before we actually become pregnant we have grown up listening to all the mothers and grandmothers...aunts and sisters and friends tell us what happened to them from the moment of conceiving to the months even after delivery. Whether you're planning or you're on a scare...all you keep running through your head is "What am I looking for?" That's when your brain pulls up every story you've ever heard, every parenting book you've ever read, and all those things they tried to teach you in sex ed. Now with that list in your head, any sign that you can possibly call upon to give you proof that you are pregnant will begin to add up. I've heard of signs even as far fetched as if a pregnant woman looks at you with a knowing gaze then "she knows!". So ya, the more you let in the more your brain will control your ability to distinguish true and false. Then if you've ever seen the CSI, there's an episode where a girl actually wants to be pregnant so badly that she begins to miss several periods and her breasts get bigger and begin to lactate. It's real. Your mind is powerful...given the chance you can convince your body to do a lot of unbelievable things. I'm so allergic to eggs that I'd go into A. shock if I were to ingest them plain. Knowing what happens and being so fearful I will begin feeling the early stages of my throat swelling if I even doubt something I've just eaten only to find out I was just over-reacting.
Prettier during Ovulation? Why?
This has a VERY scientific explanation!!! You are able to get pregnant the days you ovulate, these are the days you are most fertile. You also 'feel' sexier, because your body is 'ready' to concieve! They have studies showing women tend to show more skin while they are ovulating. It wouldn't surprise me if women's skin also has that 'glow' more and they are more flirtatious than usual. It all makes perfect sense and is about furthering the human race! and what the guy below me typed is very true, studies conducted have shown women are more attracted to the "manly man' fertile stud types when they are ovulating and when they are not, are more attracted to the non-threatening, almost feminine, nurturing type.. it's actually all very amusing...
How can i look prettier in high school? 10 pts!!!?
im going into sophomore year (15 years old) :) i have lots of friends, only a few close ones. im in color guard. people say that im funny and outgoing, usually. in looks, i have grey eyes (i always wear eyeliner), i sorta wide nose (but it fits my face), long eyelashes, straight/white teeth, im pale (but i get tan during outdoor guard season), and im not super skinny, but im not chubby... im normal :) my style is just a t shirt, jeans or shorts, converse, and sometimes a color guard sweatshirt. guys tell me that im adverage looking... a 7 or 8 out of 10. im nowhere near "popular", thank god. haha... i just want to know how i could come back to school with a newer look that will make guys (especially one :D ) look at me differently... i dont need to "fit in" i need a new way to enhance my "casual" look. haha :)
What does it mean when a guy thinks you're PRETTIER WITHOUT makeup?
Girl, you gotta remember that most guys just dont understand makeup. We think it enhances our looks and they get that but guys dont think makeup is the way to do it. To guys, we are putting weird substances on our face. They dont think makeup makes us prettier, they think it covers us up more and hides what our face really is. Guys dont care about having long eyelashes or a flawless face. Why would they care much if we do? We are humans, not barbies. Thats how guys see makeup

ok yes you are B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!! as for jasmine its because the pretty girls get the hot badboys that most of the time are abusive and $hit and beat you and call you a whore and ugly and fat and stuff so it gets to the point where the girl actually believes him and does everything she can to please him and make herself prettier which is half of the damn reason people have anorexia and think they are ugly.
