Do Pretzels Count As

Are pretzels junk food?

They are high in sodium and carbohydrates while being low in nutritional value, so I would call them junk food. They are low in fat, though, so they're a higher class of junk than potato chips, for example!

Is eating too many pretzels bad for you?

Pretzels have sodium on them. Excess sodium can cause a number of problems from water retention, to even heart attack.

Sodium can add to the problems in your arteries along with fat. When this becomes too much, your heart isn't getting enough blood. End result hard attack, try to get sodium free pretzels or just cut back period.

Auntie Anne's Pretzels' interview?

Dress nicely, but not too nicely. Like you would if you were going to the park with your conservative grandma. Avoid jeans and flip-flops, and avoid excessive makeup.
Remember to make good eye contact, and be honest. If they ask if you have any relevant experience, reflect on any jobs you have held before (yard work and volunteering count!), emphasize your customer service skills, and your ability to work hard. Ask questions about where you'll be working, what you'll be doing, and if you'll tour your work, area, bring a notepad and pen (employers love prospective employees who take notes!)
Don't be terribly nervous, because even if you don't get the job, you'll feel better about your next interview!

Is a pretzel a chip?

A pretzel is not a chip. A pretzel is a pretzel. The topology is all wrong. Chips are thin slices of starchy vegetables that are deep fried to make them crispy, or some equivalent that is shaped in the same fashion. In my opinion, and this is strictly a personal opinion, not an industry standard, a chip must the right shape to scoop up dip. It should also be a single mouthful, to avoid double dipping. Unless you’re from the UK, in which case a chip is something entirely different. But that’s neither here nor there.Pretzels are bigger than chips, and thicker. They have holes in them, so the dip would just fall through. You can eat dip with a pretzel, a pretzel stick, perhaps. But it isn’t flat enough to be a chip. And hen there are soft pretzels. Soft pretzels eaten from street carts, slathered with mustard, hot enough to scorch your fingers. Either the long, narrow Philly style pretzel, or the rounder New York style. With plenty of crunchy white salt, slathered with yellow mustard. Not fancy mustard, the yellow stuff from a squeeze bottle. Now that’s a pretzel. But not a chip. Never a chip. Then of course, there is the pretzel chip. Shaped sort of like a pretzel, sort of like a chip, it is a poor, mixed up little thing, never knowing quite where it belongs. Sad, really.

Are pretzels considered to be "chips"?

I realize this argument is rather childish, however, I need an answer. My friend believes that pretzels fit the category of "chips", while I strongly disagree. Potato chips are chips and pretzels are pretzels, they are two totally different kinds of snacks, correct? Please help me prove her wrong!

Would cheez-its and pretzels be considered junk food?

Junk food is considered as foods high in kilojoules(calories) and low in nutritional content. We refer to them as energy dense foods. These are usually high in fat, sugar, salt or a combination's of these. As cheez-its and pretzels are energy dense then yes they are junk food.

Regular pretzels make my husband's blood sugar go up!?

Pretzels are a high carbohydrate snack. Any food that is loaded in carbs will cause his sugar to go up. 3 regular sized pretzels are the carb equivalent of 1 slice of bread. 2 pretzel rods are equal to 1 slice of bread. If his blood sugar is on the lower side, below 90, then a few pretzels won't hurt him. He really should be blood testing before eating a high carb snack. A great low carb snack is celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrot sticks, etc. dipped in low calorie ranch dressing. It really shouldn't have any effect on his blood sugar levels.

Do you know if artisanal pretzels are a thing? Has that been done?

As a resident of Pennsylvania who has at various points live very close to Lancaster County let me assure you that the Amish population very frequently makes handcrafted custom pretzels of all sorts and this is spread out to almost the entire state. I agree with my fellow poster who indicated the Amish.Furthermore Auntie Anne's Pretzel Company hand makes their pretzel doughs, and rolls their pretzels, and dusts them in all sorts of flavors. They too started as an Amish operation in Lancaster County but they are spread throughout the entire world now and certainly would qualify.

Does nutritional information for foods, like pretzels or Cinnamon Toast Crunch, count the salt/sugar that is likely to remain uneaten at the bottom of the bag?

Nutritional information describes what’s in the package. It doesn’t take into account if you eat all of its contents or throw it in the trash without even opening it.It’s like asking whether volume printed on the bottle takes into account that there stay few drops on the bottle walls and bottom.

A container contains 40 litres of milk. From this container, 4 litres of milk were taken out and replaced by water. This process was repeated further two times. How much milk is now contained by the container?

29.16 liters (Option B)If you are taking out 4 liters out of a 40 liter solution and replacing it with water, you are effectively replacing 1/10th of the solution with water. => Fraction of milk will become (9/10) of the original If the process is repeated 'n' times, fraction of milk will become (9/10)^n of the original. We are given the process was done thrice=> Final quantity of milk = (9/10)^3 * 40 = 0.729*40 = 29.16
