I am 16 and my girlfriends dad threatened me, what should I do?
Iv been with my gf for over a year and i love her so much. Her mom seems to like me but her dad doesn't approve of me for whatever reason. I have done nothing to him at all, one time i went to pick her up to go to the movies, while i waited for my gf to get ready her dad told me his daughter doesn't need some guy who will distract her from her studies and said i would eventually break her heart. i told him hes wrong, then he said i know your type and you will use her. At this point it crossed my mind that because im mixed race (3/4 black and 1/4 white) maybe thats why he doesn't like me. I'm not saying this is the reason he hates me but what else would it be. I love my gf so much and i treat her so good because i think shes so amazing. i have done nothing to disrespect her or her family. im not distracting her from her studies because shes one of the smartest people i know and the fact he said im "using her" is ridiculous. some guys might be with girls just for sex but im not like that. yeah we do have sex, but thats what couples do. Anyway he has since told me "you have to break it up with her i dont care how you do it", then i said what if i dont. Then he said "You dont wanna find out". hes such an a$$hole, im not going to break up with my gf even if someone puts a gun to my head!! but him hating me will only make it more difficult for me and my girlfriend to be together in the future and i dont know what lengths he would go to, to make me go away.

No Cops pulled up and took 2 seconds to shoot. Police said he was a 20 yr. old when he was age 12. There was no report of a weapon having been discharged ... in fact, the initial report to the police stated the gun was probably a toy. The police should have used their squad car as a shield while they negotiated w/ the child ... kid never had a chance. This is what can happen in a gun pervasive society ... of course the cops were nervous ... guns are everywhere.
Do black people automatically assume a white person is racist when they meet them?
I am a white male and 19 years old. Up until about a year ago I was extremely racist. I am a conservative, gun slinging coons ass. I always was and always will be.I was raised to hate black people. One of my grandfathers is 100% Italian. When his family came to the United States they were called “Niggers turned inside out” and put below blacks on the social scale. Because of this his family taught him to hate black. I was then taught the same thing. I was living my life learning that black people were inferior. I never went out of my way to be racist as in telling black people they are inferior, but I used to think that they were.I think most modern racism is because of people in a situation like I was. There were black parts of my town, and every single one of them were run down welfare sucking types of people. But as I got older I realized there were just as many cracked out white people in those neighborhoods. I realized that educated, hard working black people exist, but they just aren't here. They know that if they stay in that sort of area they will be treated poorly, so they move away as soon as they can.Yesterday I pulled up at a gas station to get a bottle of water. Well when I got back to my truck I started it. “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge came on the radio. In the parking spot next to me was two black males I'd say in their 40s sitting in their car with the window rolled down. When I got in my truck I asked how they were doing and they looked at me like I was stupid. Probably because of the way I dress. When the passenger heard the song come one he got out of the car and started singing the song. He apologized for being rude to me just before and we started talking. He was taught to hate all white people just like I was taught to hate all black people. He hated whites for 40 years though. I only hated blacks for 18. This shows that he was learning the same thing as me despite being over twice my age. We connected and both learned a valuable lesson that day.By the way I looked and talked he assumed I was just some racist white guy trying to show power and arrogance when all I was doing to making small talk like I always do. Black people do it. White people do it. The issue is that it is a loop that unfortunately is stalling the end of racism.
