Do stretch marks ever go away?
They will never go away but it's not the end of the world. I was the same way at your age as I also gained weight rather quickly. I freaked right out. They fade from purple to white with time. If you lose weight they are even less noticeable unless your skin is pulled/stretched out. I have them everywhere, thighs, stomach, breasts, arms, lower back, sides. The only ones that I still notice at all are on my stomach and breasts. I'm 25 now and not overweight anymore. You are probably concerned about a guy when you get older. Trust me, guys do not even notice them.
What do you think about stretch marks?
Freckles, Stretch marks, Birth marks, Bruises are something you have no control over, they are a form of painting on this blank canvas that is your body.There is nothing wrong with having stretch marks, and don’t let society frame your mind into thinking that it is an issue, because it is not. When we grow our body undergoes this physical and hormonal change, and sometimes this can result into stretch marks. They also occur because of rapid weight loss, weight gain or pregnancy.But listen, since the day we were born, our body has loved us and supported us, but we never reciprocate that love. Nobody can make us feel ugly without our consent, this is an ultimate truth. The media, the modeling industry has shaped our minds into thinking that physical scarring, a thick body and so on are flaws and so since a tender age we live with this insecurity.We weren’t born with these insecurities, they are given to us by the world.And lemme tell you one thing more, if you are a girl out there, stressing about the stretch marks on your boobs, butt, back and thinking no guy is ever gonna love, honey you are soo wrong, because they will. I have hardly seen guys stressing about the stretch marks on a girl’s body, it’s only we who criticize ourselves.Flaws only makes you unique and not ugly, embrace it.

How long does it take for stretchmarks to fade?
Another thing I'm worried about is that I'm not going to get back the confidence I used to have. I never was the type to flaunt my body but I was proud at how fit I was. I'm afraid I'll never be able to get over how horrible they look. Yes, I know there are more important things than worrying about stretchmarks, but I still can't help the way I feel.
Do stretch marks fade if you lose weight?
Everything depends on your age. Stretch marks do not leave your body once you lose weight. In fact, many adults struggle with getting rid of them once the weight is off. Everyone swears on creams in drugstores but I think they don't work on everyone. However, if your young things might be different. The stretch marks on my breasts left me without cream. Maybe your body will tighten and fix itself as you lose weight and get toner because your young. Just use a cream while your exercising and losing weight to help it go away. If it doesn't then try looking into some adult rememdies as a plan B.
Stretch marks on a 14 year old girl -__- HELP!?
First, I want to commend you for loving your body. No matter what size you are or what imperfections you may find, loving yourself is the most important thing. Second, stretch mark occur when the elastin in your skin can't keep up with how quickly you are growing. If you are going through a growth spurt, going through puberty, or building a lot of new muscle, you will probably experience stretch marks at one point or another. They usually appear as white or reddish marks on your skin. The white marks will fade over time. You may want to try over the counter creams or talk to a dermatologist if you don't want to wait or find them to be bothersome. And lastly, as for getting back in shape- even though it is summer you should still try to be active. Find an exercise program that you like and find entertaining, that way you will stick with it longer. If you can pick something that doesn't feel like exercise- even better. I suggest playing with little siblings or a pet, creating dance routines to your favorite music, or going on shopping sprees with friends- since this usually involves a lot walking around the mall. You'd be surprised to know how many miles you can walk during a 2 hour shopping trip. Plus, dancing and walking will help tone your thighs, making the stretch marks even less noticeable. Do guys think stretch marks are gross?
Some guys think they are gross...some aren't going to care. Since they aren't generally going to be seen, any guy who wouldn't date you due to stretch marks is too shallow to waste your time on anyway. No, stretch marks aren't pretty...but they aren't what makes a person who they are inside (although the event that gave you the stretch marks did contribute). A tummy tuck leaves a very noticable scar of its own...don't go that route unless you have a lot of flab/extra skin that won't tone up...that's too serious of a procedure to do just to hide stretch marks from guys... My best friend has HUGE ones...even after her tummy tuck (she's 5'1" and had a 10 lb baby 16 yrs ago) but she's never had a problem as far as dating guys...they like her for who she is, nobody ran when they saw her stretch marks...
Are you jealous of women who did not get stretch marks with pregnancy?
i look at them as my battle wounds....lol. yeah it's pretty disgusting, and good birth control too. if i stare at myself for long enough in front of the mirror naked, it reminds me that i don't want another one!! no i'm kidding, but i got my body shape back after my first and i have faith in being able to do that again. i still wore a bikini when we would go on vacation to mexico and the bahamas. i even have a vertical c section scar. i'm not jealous at all.......what's meant to be will be. and i don't care what other people thing of me and my stretch marks either, because my girls are beautiful. and the section scar, that's where they entered this world. my 3 1/2 year old daughter is mesmerized by it, she wants to lift my shirt up in front of people and says, "look this where me and my baby sister came out of mommy's belly" she'll be shocked when's she's old enough to know where babies really come out of....LOL
