Who are the Jewish banking families?

From a modern perspective, some of the most famous (or hated/targeted) names in international finance are Jewish. For example:The Goldmans, and their partners, the SachsesThe Lehmans, as Ted noted. But here’s something to keep in mind: While 19th c. France, Germany and Britain had no problem doing business with Jews, in America anti-semitism locked the Jewish banking houses out of a lot of business. This segregation against American Jews lasted all the way into the latter half of the 20th c., but it didn't stop the most successful banks from climbing to the top. Many corporations did business with Jewish firms like Goldman Sachs or Lehman, but it was quite common for governments, utilities and private corporations to refuse to work with Jewish-run firms, or for Jews to be hired by the banks they did work with. The names of the latter, predictably, are very much “WASPy” rather than “Jewish-sounding”. Chase. J.P. Morgan. Kidder Peabody. Mellon. Merrill Lynch. First Boston. Paine Webber. Dillon Read. And so on. It’s thus pretty ironic that Goldman today is sometimes referred to as a “white shoe” investment bank, because in the late 19th and early 20th c., “white shoe” specifically denoted the gentile banks preferred by Ford, Armour, Vanderbilt or whoever.
Do some Americans think “the Jews” are to blame for the political, social and economic turmoil in USA?
They say the “The Jews” control the media and Hollywood and they are elite hypocrites who diva their love for the poor while boasting on social media about their trips to Paris and Barcelona, colluding all of TV except for Fox News. They say when you hear of physician practices that skim the most needy patient areas to boast about a specialized high-tech treatment area that nobody can afford, this must be “The Jews”. All of Rothschild money making money without work, it’s “The Jews”. But Jared Kushner’s ties to Trump-AIPAC moving embassy to Jerusalem, it’s “ The Jews” on the right. But that’s why Trump is also Hollywood walk of fame and of New York and Palm Beach. Sacha Baron Cohen who played Borat got all those interviews it’s “The Jews”. The overspending high Chuck Schumer taxing NY State it’s the work of “The Jews”. The reason the DNC sux and isn’t really putting in real candidates it must be “The Jews” The Israel Kissinger mess and all that it’s all the Jews But ......if this is indeed true, then why when I go to Synagogue do I not see any of this but very family-oriented independent professionals very devoted to their kids and quite open to public good? It’s because it’s not “The Jews”, Jews find themselves in a lot of faucets of life but that doesn’t mean they are controlling all faucets of life .... so It’s not “The Jews” or is it?
Are African Americans still at a disadvantage in America?
The black culture in todays society is not at a disadvantage. The problem is that they are currently in self destruct mode. The majority live in inner city type situations where the status quo is barbarack and partially lawless. The family unit has been destroyed by men impregnating countless women and never actaully fullfilling a father role. Those that persever and make something of their lives are chastized and cut out from the rest of the black community. The leaders are bigots and currupt; yet the black people defend them because their leaders cry racism, therefore absolving the people from responsibility. It is up to Black people to clean up their our society and join the rest of America. When this happens, they will become equal with whites. As they should be. (slavery as an excuse is dead)
Does capitalism work?
Africa was exploited by capitalists and now the capitalists have exploited all loopholes so African nations have no fair play in capitalism because they can't afford it, it's a catch 22.... Hong Kong and Singapore are port cities and though they don't have much land, they have other equivocal amenities such as open sea access (I should have used land in the metaphorical sense --- any commodity in place of land? same thing
Why do jewish people have two of all appliances?
Cold meat and dairy may be stored together. According to Jewish law, they may even touch each other and still be considered kosher. However, usually we don't leave things open in the refrigerator, and packaging touching other packaging isn't an issue. We have only one refrigerator, and I've been in many houses and I've never seen two refrigerators for kashrut purposes. (MY sister has an extra one for storage.) That being said, many Jews do have two ovens, two dishwashers (those who can afford it - we don't even have one), two microwaves, two food processors, two blenders, or other kitchen appliances, because meat and dairy may not be COOKED in the same pots or oven, even not at the same time. We have two sets of pots, two sets of dishes, two sets of flatware, two tables, two sets of cooking utensils, etc. We use our regular oven for meat and a toaster oven for dairy. We only have one microwave, and we use it for meat only.
