Do The Cons Pray To God Or The Koch Brothers Before They Go To Bed

Why did God want Trump to win the election?

Lol. This is a good question, are you trolling or nah? Anyways, god doesn’t exist. Remember the holocaust? World war 2, the atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Over 60 million people died… Where was god then? Remember slavery? My ancestors were literally referred to as property. Where the hell was god for them? Why did he allow these things to happen? What about child hood cancers? Birth defects; down syndrome, so many sad disorders. Some things have no place in this world... Why does god allow that to happen to innocent children? What about natural disasters? Fires, hurricanes, earthquakes? Shit happens for no reason at all, and ruins people's lives. Why doesnt god stop that from happening?Hell what about the 10 billion animals that are systematically tortured, beaten or raped for their entire lives? Why doesn't god save them? There is no god. Plain and simple. If there is, then he is currently powerless in this world. There are a lot of sad and cruel things going on in this world, god isn't making them better. Infact religions cause a ton of deaths, for no fucking reason at all too! It's just one giant bag of turtle shit.Anyways the point of all this is… Trump shouldn't be the thing that makes people stop believing in god lol. There are so many other reasons. Yeah, he's an ignorant fuck face, but life is full of them. You have to live your life to the best of your abilities and try to treat people, and animals, with kindness. If trump is bothering you that much, this video may help.

If the vast majority of Republicans are religious, why are they so much against renewable energy that's good for the environment/planet?

Most republicans aren’t against renewable energy. But what’s your definition of renewable energy and what’s your definition of good for the environment\planet? Here’s where a lot of people can disagree and also where even liberals will disagree. Many people (not me) are against wind power since birds die in the rotating turbines. Many people (not me) are against hydropower, since it can interfere with fish migration and breeding. Many people (I’m against this one) are against ethanol in cars. I don’t like it since it’s bad for the car engine, it uses as much or more eneregy to create the ethanol as it produces and it adds to the cost. If I’m against ethanol does that make me against renewable energy? Many people are against nuclear power (NOT ME). Nuclear power emits no CO2 or other particulates into the atmosphere. The biggest problem is the spent fuel, however 90% of that spent fuel can be reprocessed to use again as fuel rods. Only 10% of a spent rod is really spent and really bad. Radiation naturally exists (it’s part of reason earth core is molten). Many people are for solar (me too).Keep in mind, I want electricity 24x7. using only solar or only wind power with our current technology does not work. We can’t efficiently store energy to meet the demands of the US population. Generators can’t just be turned on\off when there is a demand above what solar can provide (or wind) since it takes a long time to heat up the water to the proper temperature.Even though I’m for solar. I am 100% against what Obama did for Solyndra and subsidized a company that produces solar panels. If the US is to invest,we should invest more in our schools, including colleges for BS, MS and PHD degrees. We need more people studying STEM majors. We should help as a country to defray cost more for school for those majors since there is a critical need. Who knows what the major energy source for US will be in 50 years. It is very likely it is not even invented yet.

Are there any intelligent and/or highly educated people who support Donald Trump?

I know plenty of well educated “decent" people who support Donald Trump.Among them are several Ivy League grads, multiple MBAs, and Ph.Ds, college professors, multiple lawyers, including one who has argued (and won) a case before the Supreme Court, multiple M.D.s, several social workers, and many, many others. I can add small business owners, retired command grade military officers, corporate officers and a few rocket scientists- we are in Houston, the home of NASA.Most of these folks are generous supporters of various community projects to help the poor. Some, like myself are active in service organizations like Rotary (of which I am a member) that has nearly eradicated polio after raising and spending over $500,000,000 with the help of a matching grant from the Gates Foundation. Conservatives routinely give of their time to help others. In fact, it is a well established statistical fact conservatives give substantially more to charities than liberals. Liberals, on average give less than half of what conservatives give to charities. Liberals are only generous with government money.Margaret Thatcher wisely noted this when she observed “ The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.”Most of the generous people of whom I speak are members of my parish church, in long term committed marriages, with successful, stable lives, who care about others and who live decent, productive lives.I would guess that 80-90% of my parishioners voted for Donald Trump.I spent 15 years in the corporate world as a banker, I went to seminary and was ordained a priest in the Anglican Church in North America, where I first served as a church planter, and now as rector of a parish .I have been married to the same wonderful woman for four decades,. Together, we have raised two daughters.I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, two earned masters degrees ( Master of Arts in Religion; Master of Divinity). Related to my previous career, I am a graduate of the National School of Commercial Lending at the University of Oklahoma, and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at S.M.U. ( MBA in Bank Management). In 2008 I was awarded a Doctor of Divinity Degree ( Honorary). Most of the people I know personally voted for Donald Trump. So maybe you need to expand your circle of friends.Of course, I live in Texas, in flyover country. We are “deplorables”. You know, “ bitter people who cling to guns and religion.”
