Do The Leafs Catch Up To Pittsburgh

If someone writes me "we need to catch up", should I answer, "Yes, we do"? Does this sound natural, or do you have a better response?

If I REALLY wholeheartedly wanted to catch up with someone whom I haven't seen or spoken with in quite some time, I would reply back by saying “Yes, I would like for us to get together. What's a good time for me to call you so we can plan a day and time to see each other?” Or you could say “I would love for us to have a good wholesome talk by phone with each other to catch up on what's going on with each other so what day and time can I call you?”Always take the initiative to reach out and plan with that person who was so thoughtful to think about you but ONLY IF YOU REALLY WANT TO!!! People can tell when your not wanting to be bother by a Bland remark. Just remember that if it's not convenient for you to meet in person because of your schedule, a phone call is a warm welcome of APPRECIATION to that person's tender gesture!!!

How can I trim a tree branch that's touching the power line leading to my house without getting shocked?

Carefully, with a saw. I’ve done it on several occasions. The power lines are usually insulated, though the neutral/ground may not be. It’s about as dangerous as vacuuming near a lamp cord. The wires are only carrying about 120V; the voltage is insufficient to jump a gap of any size and if insulated the wires should be safe to touch if you slip. Don’t cut the insulation with the saw - be especially careful if using a chainsaw. Make sure the branches don’t fall on the wires - not so much that there’s a problem touching them, but if you drop a 100lb branch on them they may pull out of the house fittings. Ideally you should use a fibreglass ladder not a metal one, and wear safety glasses, just in case. If, somehow, you were able to cut the wires and short them together, the consequences of arcing are just as much a hazard as getting a shock. If the wire is hung from a big stack of insulators, it’s probably high voltage distribution lines, but those do not usually come onto private property without a wide right-of-way either side. Those are not safe to work on without training. As others said, there’s a good chance the utility will do it for free and save you the trouble. They won’t turn the power off either, or take any extraordinary precautions.

How to get into watching hockey?

I've never really watched any sports on TV, but Hockey seems really exciting and interesting! I've only really played soccer, so I don't know any Hockey basics.

So, is there a guide into how to start liking and watching Hockey?

Greatest NFL players of all-time at each position?

QB- Peyton Manning- Everyone will probably hate this, but the truth is Peyton is better than Joe Montana. Manning could retire today and be the most prolific passer of all time. He owns Montana and every other QB in every statistical category (Only player close is Steve Young). Sure Montana has the rings, but that just means he had a better team and the greatest Receiver of all-time.

RB- Barry Sanders- How can you hold the record for most yards going backwards and still be in the top 5? Hands down greatest back.

RB- Jim Brown- Only running back with a career average of over 100 yards a game.

WR- Jerry Rice- If you disagree, jump off a cliff.

WR- Randy Moss- Moss and T.O. are in the race for the 2nd greatest Receiver of all-time. T.O. has a slight lead for career, but Moss is 4 years younger and has time to catch him. 6'4 with 4.2 speed in his prime....incredible.

TE- Tony Gonzales- Holds almost every record for a TE. Has been consistant for 10 years.

DL- Reggie White- Hall of famer and 2nd leader in sacks.

DL- Deacon Jones- He actually invented the sack. Because the sack hadn't yet been invented it is said that he could have had four seasons with 20 or more sacks, with his highest being 26 sacks.

DL- Bruce Smith- All-time league leader in sacks.

DL- Joe Green- Leader of the probably the greatest defense ever.

LB- Lawrence Taylor- Probably the greatest defensive player of all time.

LB- Mike Singletary- Leader of the great Chicago defense.

LB- Ray Lewis- Leader of a defense that had the lowest points in a season for offenses ever.

DB- Ronnie Lott- Could be the hardest hitter ever.

DB- Deion Sanders- Prime time is probably the most exciting player ever. Also the greatest cover man.

DB- Rod Woodson- 11 time pro-bowler and 6 time all pro. Also a hall of famer.

DB- Darrell Green- Fastest player of all time. He ran a 4.09 40 time which helped him lock down recievers.

PR- Devin Hester- Scored a NFL record 6 returns in one season.
KR- Gale Sayers- One of the greatest athletes to ever play.

K- Morteen Anderson- All time leading kicker.

Why is there no celery caps in baseball?

I'd see several problems with a baseball celery cap.

First, the birds. You'd be in the outfield and be able to enjoy a quick snack now and then by eating a piece of your cap. But you could be backing up to make a catch and the birds could swoop down and peck on your cap. That could be very distracting. And in the spring time, the birds might take the entire cap for their nests.

Second, in the summer, the dog days of August you hear about, the celery would wilt terribly. And there's not hardly anything worse than having wilted vegetables on your head while trying to play baseball.

And third, the baseball season is long, much longer than the celery growing season. So the teams would have to import celery from South America. The cost would be higher plus if there was a vegetable embargo or a South American celery fungus problem, you'd end up having to play baseball bare headed. The birds would go after the players' hair, and might even drop poop bombs out of spite since their tasty celery was not available.
