Do U Think These Should Be Aired On Disney Junior

What do you think of Disney Channel these days?

Most people say they like "the old Disney Channel" but I dont really get that. I mean they couldnt continue making Lizzie McGuire forever right? Anyway, what do you think of Disney Channel these days and if you prefer "the old Disney" please elaborate on that. Thanks

Disney channel bad influence on my child?

I was at the gym the other day dropping my step-son off in the child care area. I happened to glance up at the TV in there and saw some young girl, dressed like a little hooker, singing and dancing in what I would only assume was some music video channel such as MTV, VH1, etc. Just as I was about to mention to the employee that I didn't think this was appropriate for all these young kids to watch I noticed the Disney logo in the bottom corner of the screen. I was shocked. Not only is TV affecting our children but I've noticed some mom's encouraging this behavior. I've heard mothers with girls as young as 4 talk about the child's boyfriends and who broke up with who in their pre-school. They encourage them to dress and act like little teenagers I've heard them say to these young girls that "so-n-so" will think you are cute if they....whatever. It's so ridiculous!!! Let little kids be little kids and protect them from all the trash out there, and for once I wish these parents would just BE A PARENT!

Is it wrong to watch Disney Channel if you're over 18?

If it is, nobody's ever told my daughter. She’s been watching Disney Channel shows and movies for years now, and she still watches them. I occasionally watch and enjoy them with her.Truth is, there’s nothing shameful about watching the Disney Channel, whatever your age. While much of the programming may be geared toward kids of specific ages, most of the shows are well enough made that they’ll be entertaining to adults as well.Don't worry about being “too old” to watch the Disney Channel - just enjoy the shows you want to watch, and when you decide you don't care for them any more, watch something else.

Why do people whine about modern Disney channel?

It comes down to nostalgia and as you get older you forget what it was actually like. You remember the shows and moments that you loved about it, the same way you do about any cartoons you used to watch. Sometimes you can go back to watch those old cartoons and they're as good as you remember, or better. Sometimes they're not as good.I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have Kids Incorporated or The New Mickey Mouse Club on my TV again. Would it be the same to me? My perspectives and interests have changed, and become more complex, but I do watch Disney Channel more than any other channel even at my age. I enjoy goofy and fun sitcoms like Girl Meets World and enjoy writing that looks like they're all having a ton of fun creating these shows.Has the channel changed since I was a kid? Well, they used to show more classic Mickey Mouse cartoons frequently, but they shifted their target demographics and divided the channel into multiple outlets: Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior. You could make the case that Disney Channel is for tween girls, Disney XD is for tween boys and Disney Junior is for all the younger kids. But there is overlap in their programming. In any case, people that whine about it are either expressing a longing for their memories, or are missing the feeling it gave them when they loved it and would look forward to getting home from school to watch it.Because they may not be able to relate to the characters or situations on the current set of shows, they feel it is no longer good.I find that I, as an adult with a daughter, am watching it for both entertainment value and to keep myself educated on what she might go through as she grows up.

Why is Disney Channel so bad compared to, say, the studio's movies?

Disney Channel just feels rushed, the shows aren’t as creative and powerful. Most of their shows now are just a bunch of kids talking about what bullying or whatever they see in school. Although, old Disney Channel was also bad in a ratings-wise but to many people who lived with it would highly disagree with it of a bad one because at least they used a little creativity to make a show of a girl named Raven, a spy who is also a high school cheerleader, and even Selena Gomez playing as a wizard. Most tv shows now are relatable to each other and they always are about social media. But if you want to make your show realistic with a bunch of kids as stars, it’s going to be hard to push them to the limit without causing an emotional breakdown. The movies are obviously better because:They have creativity so they always have the more story time feeling throughout their films. (Only Disney, not Pixar.)They have all the time in the world to make films. (come one, Pixar takes at least 4–6 years to make so definitely they have all the time in the world to make movies because they aren’t going to have a due date from whoever lurks out there)They have more powerful plot twists, up and turns because if you make a tv show, you start to lose your creativity quickly so that’s why the greatest animes are always the shortest ones. We’re comparing a movie to a tv show. A tv show has to run no matter what and it can’t lose the audience’s attention and they have to think of something quick while Disney is like, “Let’s go with that. Wait, nah. Let’s just go with the scene where the princesses fathers get shot by a bunch of gangsters.”In a way, Disney Channel would’ve been better if they didn’t have new episodes all the time and they would appear every 6 months or even years. (like SpongeBob for a while) But it’s TV, so the only way to get a good tv show is to make a HBO show or just get short tv series. (the tv business seems harder than the movie business when it comes to the time.)So yeah, Disney Channel just lived a little too long to self destruct it’s creativity and become a dying monster of greed in my opinion. (But some films are also cash grabbers too!)
