Do U Think U Could Give Me Some Pointers On What To Write About In My Essay For 1. Why Do You Want

I've never written an essay before. Need help!?

What type of essay is it?

If its one such as "should smoking be banned?" remember do an introduction about the subject, a few paragraphs for, a few against and then a conclusion about what you think.

or

If it is one for english, about a story or comparing things
Remember PEE; Point, Evidence, Explanantion.

Example;

Point - The author portreys the main character as lonely

Evidence - (a quote proving your point)
"She sat and stared. Lonely as ever."

Explanation - (why u think this is/effects on reader) The author does this to appeal to the readers emotions. I think he wants the reader to empathise with the character and to be on the characters side for events later in the story.

Examiners like to know what YOU think. For example if you were doing an exam on comparing poems you could say something about a poem, what you think the author is trying to do and then what you also think. i.e.;

"Invisible cord" is a metephor for the bond between the father and son. It appears the father is trying to control everything and keep everyone near him, however I think he is just trying to do the best by his son without being controlling.

Essay writing tips?

I have been trying to write a 5 pg essay for a few days now and keep getting stuck. Its title is "why be normal" and there is no wrong answer, but my problem is once I get a good theory going I am getting stuck on elaborating on it more without just rambling. Any suggestions?

What did you write in the question, "Why do you think you deserve admission in a dual degree program?"? Can you please provide me with a few pointers?

They want to know if you are passionate about the degree you are going to take up.So, try to tell them genuinely why are you so passionate about this dual degree, apart from employment opportunity and salary, try to tell them what made you think about this degree, what made you decide that this the degree you need to do out of all the available degrees.Don't try to impress them, be genuine and you will nail it.All the best.

I need to write an essay about my skills, strengths and weaknesses, please help.?

Well your question isn't very specific but start out by making an outline. I don't know how long it has to be, but what I find helps is writing 3 point paragraphs for things like that. Example:

1st paragraph: introduction (talk about yourself a little, etc); next transition into the topic of the paper. i.e.: As I get older, I am beginning to realize what makes me who I am. My personality and work ethic are formed by various skills, strengths and weaknesses. etcc..

2nd paragraph: skills: list three skills and talk a little about them

3: strengths: list thee strengths and talk a little about them

4: weaknesses: I have many areas for development that I continue to work on, etc... list three, talk about them, etc.

5: conclusion

you could always throw a quote in the conclusion OR introduction too. Like "Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man." -Benjamin Franklin or something about how knowing your strengths and weaknesses helps you move in the right direction to become a better person

Good luck!!

Writing an essay on Obesity in America. Please help!?

Always have references. Even if it is on opinion, always try to be educated on the subject.
Here are some tips:
- One of the easiest forms of essays to write is the 5 paragraph essay. Have a topic paragraph, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph.
- The topic paragraph should include your thesis, which is what you are trying to tell the reader, and should categorize it into 3 categories. Those will become your body paragraphs.
- In the body of the essay, try to always have at least 1 fact, and then explain it. You can have more, but always explain them.
- The conclusion should wrap up the essay. It shouldn't be the thesis statement exactly, but restate it.
- When you use someone else's information, you don't have to quote them. Just be sure you reference whoever had the info. For example:
"The CDC did a research on obesity that shows..."
Although I never directly quoted the CDC, I did tell you they did the research.
- If you are writing an opinion essay, than all of the essay will be your opinion somehow.
- When you form the opinion, it doesn't just have to be For/Against, or anything as black and white as that. If they just told you to write about Obesity in America, you can write about if its an epidemic, how can people change, and stuff like that.
- If you writer's block, and you have don't have to worry about running out of paper, just write. Someone I know told me this, and it works. Just write whatever comes to mind, no matter how stupid. Its a simple way to get rid writer's block.
- Most important of all, DON'T STRESS! When you take a test, you will stress about writing. When you finish, you'll find out that it wasn't as bad as you thought it was.

Hope these tips could help you, and I'm sure you'll do fine on the essay.

What’s the best website to buy essay online?

No such thing. They're selling an illegal product, so you have no recourse if they scam you, and most will. All the sites you find when googling it are all owned by the same company in the Philippines. If they could get repeat business, they wouldn't have to pretend to be 20 different companies. They hire people who barely speak English and plagiarize so you're easily caught.
