Do Worms Affect Prescription Pills Such As Accutane

I have like ringworms all over my body what do i do?

Um... if you mean "tinea corporis," then I had that too. You need to take hot showers with a loofah (a scruffy sponge thingy) and apply Lamisil (or a similar foot fungus medication) to *every* affected area. It's going to take over a month of continued application. And yeah, you'll be buying a lot of Lamisil.

There's also pills that will take care of that fungal problem. The downsides to the pills is that they can be terrible to your liver. And if you drink alcohol, you'll basically be kicking your liver in the nuts repeatedly.

The fungus feeds on fat on your skin, so if you lower your body fat content it will help somewhat. It also wouldn't hurt to see a dermatologist.

Will Doxycycline Hyclate help my ringworm?

I really have no idea at all. I was told by a friend at school that it could possibly help.
Does it?
I have about 6 spots of ringworm and I'm treating those spots twice a day with an athletes foot cream I bought at Walmart. Just in case anyone was curious!
I just want to know if this medication will help at all or if my friend has no idea what they're talking about.

Is there a bomb to treat ringworm in a house?

To clarify my earlier question........We have been to the Dr. and we are all being treated with antifungal creams, and I have a call into the Dr. for something stronger for my daughter. I didn't keep any of the cats, we just rescued them and came into contact with them, which is where I believe we got the infection from in the first place. I'm washing everything I can with bleach and hot water, but I can't exactly bleach my carpet, although I will if that is what it takes to make everyone healthy again. I'm thinking of just buying a tremendous amount of Lysol, opening the windows, and having a spraying party. Actually, I'm just looking for advice on what to do to keep the infection DEAD in my house so we don't keep going through a vicious cycle of reinfection. Thanks!

What might cause headaches and clay-colored stools?

the clay coloured stool is a lack of bile. The pain in you back is probably cholecystitis, although it may be pancreatitis.

The headache could be any number of things, but is likely related to a change in liver function, it may also be a response to the change in digestion (nausea is most common, but only a HA is possible.) Look in the mirror, are the whites of your eyes yellow? this would be jaundice and indicate the liver is affected, and not discharging bile/billiruben.

In either case, go to the ER and have them work you up. In order to figure out what is wrong and what to do, a lot of questions need to be asked and answered, especially about the history (are you fasting, or having a strange diet, parasite, some worms can case this, history of gallstones, did it begin with severe hypochondriac pain? Any history of liver disease or drinking?)

Whatever the answer, once you have colorless stool, it is worth investigating, as it could be very serious. The weeks of headache, being rare, may be connected, and indicate a malfunction in your liver, or poisoning, but if that is followed by colorless stool, than you probably have other complaints, like severe nausea and vomiting, perhaps loss of consciousness.

Finally, if you are fasting, eating a restricted diet (such as cutting out all of a type of food, or too little food) or eating strange foods, or raw foods, changing this should correct it. But if this has happened spontaneously, seek medical attention immediately.

If it is from blockage in the bile duct, it is a big concern that the pain is mild. Perhaps you are just unique this way, but it could be blocked by a tumor or other mass, or deformity in the duct.. Stones typically hurt a lot.

In short, go to the hospital and get a real answer, fast. As further progression may be disabling, and certainly not good.

I get cold sores twice a month! Help!?

I am in my 40s and know all about cold sores. I used to get them like that too. Then the internet came out and I started researching and talking to other people who get them. What you need to do is take Lysine 1000 mg a day every day. Foods contain Lysine and Arginine. You need a balance of these. The key is to avoid foods high in arginine. You can look this up there are several sites. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/foods-hig...

There are foods and things that trigger cold sores. One of the main things that will always cause you to get a cold sore is being out in the sun. I have not had a cold sore in a long, long time and the other day I went out to a public pool with my son and they had no umbrellas so I was in the direct sun for only 1.5 hours. Sure enough in 2 days I had a cold sore.

Another thing is beer, citrus fruits and drinks, candies, sodas made with them. No lemons, oranges, lemonade, orange juice, candies. No sour candies like sour worms or war heads etc.

Nuts are way high in arginine. Never eat nuts or foods with it in it. Nuts are bad.

What is really good to do is eat yogurt and cheeses and milk every day, as well as avoid the high arginine foods totally, the sun and take the Lysine.

Stress can cause cold sores and temperatures changes. If you do the above even when you do ever get one, it will grow super slow and when you feel you are getting one, you double up on the Lysine until its gone. It will usually grown for half a day and the next day is starting to dry up already. Apply Neosporin not the lip stuff but the Neosporin plus pain ointment or cream. It makes it heal fast and takes about that itchy feeling.

Many many years ago I tried that Valtrex and it made me have severe sore throats right away.

No tanning booths either.

As far as drinking no beer, and I do fine drinking wine, not sure of other liquor.

Avoid a lot of high caffeine. I drink coffee like 2 cups a day and do okay with that.

Some people chocolate causes it but for me it does not.

This will really help you.

L lysine you can buy in any grocery, pharmacy, or walmart types. Ask your doctor about it so you take the right amount for your body size.
