Do You Agree That Age Is Just A Number

Is age really just a number?

This does not pertain to me, but it's a question that really makes me mad. How come so many people on here say age is just a number? It's not just that, really. Unless you are an adult and over your 20's it does matter!

These days you see a lot of 10 year old kids dating 13 or 14 year old kids, which is ridiculous! Yet alone the 10 year old should not be dating, it's a person way older than them! And not only the fact of morals, there is also the strain on the relationship itself! Those two people are at two very different stages in their life, what would a 15 year old have in common with a 25 year old? Not much!

So when you say age is just a number, do you honestly think of all this? I just want your opinions!

"Age is just a number". How much can you relate with it?

Just a very casual thing I will talk about that whenever we used to hear something extraordinary done by someone and then we just being shocked by saying “seriously he/she is only of this age…that’s amazing, when we were at this age, we know nothing related to this”.Age also doesn't describe how mature a person is.A 30 years old guy looks like 50 sometimes and any 50–60 years old one looks like 25–30.The man Jeff bejoz, the richest person of the world is only 45.The best example we could give is “love” , it can happen with anyone irrespective of the age, looks and place. You will always be a child for your parents, no matter how old you are.

Do you agree with the adage that age is just a number, why?

Getting old is a Blessing NOT a curse!Remember if you do not age it means you are no longer amongst the living. My outlook on age just being a number is absolutely true. It's all about the mind. If you allow your mind to control you instead of the reverse then you will have trained your mind to believe all the myths related to aging. Such as your body is ready for a rocking chair at 60. You start slowing down and wont be able to keep up at age 60. There hundreds more such stories about approaching the aging years. I just turned 62yrs old and I can still out dance any youngster I come up against on the dance floor whether it be twerking or dropping it like its hot. I still race against teenagers that think they can beat me running. My mind is still very sound, I help the kids with their math, reading, and science all the way through college, even went back to school and received my degree. Its all about the mind, if you believe you are a decaying piece of flesh then that's how your body will respond. Stay alert and positive, age will always be just a number.

Who said age is only but a number?

probably some smart mouthed guy tying to get in an older lady's pants.

Do you believe Age Is Just A Number?

I see both wrong with that, some people will have a problem with that and others won't.
Honestly I see nothing wrong with that age difference it's only five years.

Meaning of "age is just a number"?

I am a firm believer in "age is just a number". It does, indeed, mean that the chronological age of a person does not necessarily reflect the way they act. I'm sure we all know, or know of, people who are in their seventies and yet very active, both mentally and physically, and others in their thirties who seem old due to their attitudes and way of living. People are usually surprised to learn my chronological age because I give off the "vibe" of a person much younger.

Do you believe that age is just a number?

When I was a young adult in my 20s, a 60+ year old person seemed really old to me; almost ancient, most likely can't think or reason too well anymore. People in their 30s seemed close to old and certainly “not young.” I was sure my age group was the best and smartest. When I was in my 30s, I was sure my age group was now in its prime; vibrant, change-makers, innovators. And, looking back at my 20s, I realized I knew nothing, not like my 30s. In my 40s & 50s, I was sure they were the best years. And, looking back at my 30s and then 40s, I realized that I knew nothing, not like my 50s. All through those decades, my assumption was that now in my late 60s with 40+ years of adulthood behind me, I know a whole lot more about “how shit tends to work (and play out)” in life. In many ways, now that I am “ancient,” my thought processes are the best they have ever been. And, I happily admit I know nothing. But as a retiree with lots of free time to pursue my interests, I make sure to keep learning. So yes, age is just a number, an important number.

Age ain't nothing but a number, Do you agree?

Divide your age by 7...add 2

That's the minimum respectable age of someone you can date
