Do you think traveling is a waste of money?
I think so. I know a few friends who travel a lot and they pay each time 5 figures amount. I find this is a waste of cash spent throughout in a short period of time. If it were me, ill save all that money and have a happy and early retirement :) and then I can enjoy my next 30 to 40 years alone in my house doing absolutely nothing
How much gas money does a V8 truck waste in a week, i dont really travel far but i want to know just to know?
it is hard to answer that question without taking into consideration how a person drives, where they are driving, how far, highway or stop & go traffic, etc because all of those variables come into play. also the maintenance on the truck if the truck is in good working order properly inflated tires what different types of options does the truck have thats putting drag on the motor etc...so that question is really hard to answer without having many facts...
I want to travel but my husband thinks its a waste of money?
I love travelling. Theres a rush I get from exploring new places. My husband thinks its a waste of money and has no interest in travelling. He went a few places with me and hated every minute of it. And both places he chose. So I accepted the fact he doesnt want to go, so I decided to take my mom who just retired And wants to travel. My husband feels me going on trips is a waste of money and would rather spend that money on material things. I offered to meet him half ways where one year we will save up for something big materialistic (like a motor cycle for him) and the next year id get a trip somewhere (I find really good deals spending less than $2,000). I am a RN so I make good money, and whenever I save up for a trip I pick up extra shifts so it doesn't cut into our regular money and regular savings. We are young, no kids, but successful, so I get why he has a problem with it? I could understand if he felt its taking away from our precious money but I pick up extra shifts to pay for it. Ive always wanted to travel,he was well aware of this before we got married and even went with me to a few places....what can I do to compromise with him? Or should I just give up travelling since he doesn't feel I should be using money for it?
