What can I do if I don't like my name?
I had the same issue - a very odd spelling and androgynous first name, and an impossible to spell and pronounce ethnic last name (which had been shortened by my grandpa from a more impossible last name, and wasn't exactly a flattering translation from old German). Added to that, I wasn't close with my father at all.I finally legally changed my first, middle and last name when I turned 30. I wished that I had done it at 20, when I first had the idea. It was surprisingly easy and relatively cheap to do. Legally, I didn't have to explain much to the judge, my reasons fit all the checkboxes. Very few people except my close friends even knew that I legally changed my name, since most people thought that Jessie was short for Jessica anyway. The downside was that Jessica was what I'd spent all my life telling people NOT to call me. I went for a time as my middle name "Kay" (K was always my middle initial), because at least my first inclination isn't to correct people that my name is not Jessica!Everything is easier now. My name fits nicely on forms, and when someone I don't know says my last name, it doesn't sound like a fart (used to sound even more like a fart when they were German and DID know how to pronounce it!). It has slightly confused a few people, but they always laugh and understand that "there's always another Jessica in the room".Branding? I just put a "creative" after my name. Or you could put "enterprises" or "solutions" or "creations" or "art" or whatever fits what you do after your domain name.

I do, it has a nice royality sling to it and im sure you feel like your baby girl will be a princess, so thats the perfect name.
What do you think of the name Kayak? It seems like all the other names that start with k are overused.?
I love it! It really floats my boat! It's a name that certainly will never go down river!

If the page is obscure, go to the graph search and find the page first from the drop down menu, select it so that the page name appears in bold in the graph search bar, then put your cursor to the left of the page name, and type in "people who like [selected page]

Do you have a child whose name you do not like?
My middle daughter was named after a girl my (ex) husband was madly in love with. He actually brought me to meet her when we were dating so I could see what a “perfect woman” looked like. I had already named my middle daughter but he begged me to change it to that woman’s name the day after she was born. Why I agreed to it is anyone’s guess. By the way, her name isn’t a bad or weird name, it’s just the reason behind it is why I don’t like it.
