Do You Beleive In Karma

Should I believe in karma?

Anything we don't know we cannot believe. We can assume. Can we believe Karma. No. Does Karma exist. Yes. Because Karma is a concept. It is a inherent behavior that governs all of us. Does only human beings have Karma. No. All animals plants every living organism has Karma or karmic memory in it. You don't need to believe it. Try to observe it, understand it, experiment with it and finally know it. We won't believe electricity right? Can we see electricity. No. Can we see its effects. Yes. Karma is like that. All the life we see around us is the effect of karma playing in every being. Many great people like jagatguru adishankaracharya, swami vivekananda, sadhguru jaggi vasudev and many other people have given commentaries on many inherent concepts like Karma, so that common people like us can understand them. Try to read them. Don't just believe. Question it and at the same time work for the answer which makes sense to you. Hope I answered your question.

Do you believe in KARMA?

Yep..I'm a strong and a staunch believer of Karma.Thats the way things are even out in this world

There are people born poor, handicapped, etc, people who suffer for no fault of theirs. On the other hand there are people who enjoy despite all their gruesome and heinous acts ever committed, they don't even suffer for it their life!!!!

This questions the very fairness of life and concept of morality. So an alternate explanation has to be sought. For some actions you have direct results - like you dont study well and you fail and for some actions you have indirect effects. You might have cheated in one exam and got away, but in an exam where you have chosen to be fair, you'd be caught for no fault of yours.I'm just giving an example of how it can work. Some actions you will see results immediately and for some, only after a while(It may even take another birth)

So I have some meaningful reason to believe in Karma

How many of you believe in karma?

You are getting everything according to your present deeds and also the past deeds. The Lord has arranged the cycles of your births. In each cycle happiness and misery are alternatively arranged leaving the sequence of good and bad deeds. Even if you have done two sins subsequently the fruits of the two sins are not given to you subsequently. The result of a good deed is penetrated in between these two sins. Like this the Lord has arranged all your life cycles at present and in the future. If you are pestering Him, He will bring the result of good deed from the future cycle to the present cycle as a pre-matured fixed deposit with reduced value. By such interference your future life cycles will be filled with misery. Then you will scold the Lord crying “Oh! Lord you have given me misery from birth to death”. You don’t remember your foolish interference in the past birth. The other way is that the Lord in human form should transfer your sin on Him and should suffer for your sake. This path is possible only when you don’t aspire for this path and worship the Lord in human form by sacrificing all your bonds of the world. This is possible only for a true devotee who never wishes that the Lord should suffer for his or her sake. Such true devotee will be worshipping the Lord without aspiring anything in return. One has to understand the theory of Karma and the devotion towards Lord. The Lord suffers for the sins of His true devotees only who are really serving the Lord in practice by doing Karma Sanyasa (Sacrifice of work) and Karma Phala Tyaga (Sacrifice of the fruit of work) in His mission without aspiring anything in return. In such service even an Iota of desire should not be present even in any biological cell of the human being. This is called ‘NISHKAMA KARMA YOGA’ AS EMPHASIZED IN GITA.

Why should I believe in karma?

Very interesting to Question!!Karma is “what goes around comes around” orDestiny will give you “Tit for Tat”And above understanding of the karma is absolutely bang On! Because human is a spoy of this worldly chess. We are not in our control. We do follow events not creating or playing with them.I have firm believe in “ Things are just happening with us, We are not doing anything” . Why Karma exists in this world? Simply I can say because we are human. We perform things in a certain or predefined way as we are already learnt lot many things before we got to know how things really work.Human start learning when we are just 3 months old fetus. So you can fathom this huge brain set up…which is already done before we could start understanding it.Ok, take one example…“chor ki dadee (beard) me tinka” this adage is explaining human conscience. How?If we commit something wrong/unethical. Even though we knew it that we cannot be caught but still something happens our brain start making unrelated senses from the unconnected events and makes us worried as we might get caught someday. This whole event is doing what - “We do something wrong, We are worried and cautious and also may fall in guilt later” is all part of event chain game and you can call it “Karma”.So, Karma is real. It will make you happy if you do something good. It will make you guilty if you do something unwanted/unethical.We are born with it. We are born to follow it.PS: Explain how to get better from it. Even how to get come out from it. We can take another question.

Do you believe in karma, and if you do what religion are you?

Even though I am an Atheist, I cant help think that I deserve some of the things that are happening to me and maybe they are karma, but maybe on the other hand I dont deserve it

What is Karma? Do you believe in Karma? Does it impact the lives we live

Yes, i believe in karma. Have you heard about the sayings, ‘what goes around, comes around’ and ‘As you sow, so shall you reap’? Karma is just like that. According to the law of karma, every positive deed generates a “merit” while every negative deed generates a “demerit” or a sin. Subsequently one has to reap the results of one’s actions. Throughout our lives we are either settling an old account or creating a new one. If the account cannot be settled in this birth it is carried over to the next birth. We are not consciously aware of the give-and-take accounts generated in our previous births.According to the science of Spirituality, most of our family members are people with whom we have positive or negative accounts from previous births. The reason for this is that one has to be in the proximity of the other person with whom one has karma in order to experience either pleasure or pain. Some are of the view that we are in control of our lives and everything that happens to us is as a result of our own choice. While some others think that everything happens as per destiny only. However, neither of them are completely true. According to the science of Spirituality in the present times 65% of our lives are ruled by destiny and 35% by wilful action. But we can overcome the 65% of our destiny part, by using the 35% of our wilful action to undertake the correct spiritual practice. Destiny is spiritual in nature and the only way through which we can nullify our give and take account and destiny is through sustained and regular spiritual practice. This article explains with an example the law of karma and how give and take account is carried over births: Karma and the Law of Give-and-Take | SSRF EnglishHope this helps :)
