Why don't Jehovah's witnesses believe in intercession?
Your main question asks, "Why don't JWs believe in intercession?" Your subsidiary questions asks, "Is it true ....."? The Bible accepts praying on behalf of others, therefore JWs accept. Is it possible the bus driver simply didn't want the intercession of that particular person?
Why do Catholics believe in Intercession and Purgatory?
There is no evidence in the bible that either are even true! How can you Catholics believe in Purgatory when Jesus told the thief on the Cross that "TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE"! Jesus didn't say tomorrow, he didn't say in 10 years he said TODAY! DOESNT THAT DISPROVE PURGATORY YOU IGNORANT CATHOLICS? And Intercession? WTF, Jesus said we have to pray DIRECTLY TO HIM! Praying to saints is, in my opinion, SATANIC!
Christians who don't believe in the communion/intercession of saints?

Shia and sunni muslims? is it Ok the intercession in your prayers? and questions about jesus?
well I don't know if shia and sunnis muslims believe in the intercession but.. I read shia muslims do and they ask Ali but why don't you ask to Jesus or his Mother? because it would be too christian? btw.. I don't find a mosque with the name of Jesus as the prophet or place dedicated him.. like Abraham in palestine, and other prophets, Adam, John the Baptist, why is there not a mosque with the name of Jesus or dedicated him where he was born or places of his miracles or stuff like that?
Help with religion homework? Intercession attitudes?
I have to read the following: Luke 23: 32-43 John 17: 6-26 Luke: 22: 31-33 They are intercession attitudes or forms of prayer w/e. Some questions after reading them is: "How does this attitude of prayer shape your relationship with others?" ... well I don't know because I don't see how it's related to other people. "How is this attitude imporant in human relationships?" ... I guess it's important because the prayers are about other people not yourself? And I have to write a prayer based on the attitude (intercession). Does anyone have any ideas? How do I write a prayer and about what and who???
Shia's: Is asking Ali (ra) for intercession, allowed in Islam?
This is in response to the genuine answers (assuming no Taqqiya) by the Shia's who claim that they do not say "ya Ali madad" to ask him directly, instead, they indeed ask Allah (swt) alone but "through" Ali (ra) !? - correct so far? But that still doesn't sound so convincing.. Not only that it still appears to be foolish and wrong (to Muslims), BUT, it is indeed foolish and Haram according to Allah (swt), as He warned the believers in these two verses: 43. Have they taken others as intercessors besides Allah? Say: "Even if they have power over nothing whatever and have no intelligence?" 44. Say: "To Allah belongs all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, then to Him you shall be brought back."
