Do You Believe In This Quote

Do you believe in this quote: "the more you know, the less you believe"?

Exactly, it depends on what a person learns and whether or not it is correct. If you look at that quote from an atheistic viewpoint then they would claim that to be true but what we don't realize is that the further we move away from God the more we devalue man. Unfortunately it has gotten to the point where we are educating ourselves into imbecility and the devaluing of man is in direct correlation to this education.

Who said this quote??? "Stand up for what you believe in even if it means standing alone"?

Author is unknown on that one as far as I can tell, I can see why you asked if that is all you are finding, it is a bit nerve raking to not be able to put a name after a famous saying for sure
Good luck

Do you believe in the quote "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"?

Yes, but It's a behavioral bar setting. It is not just a setting just for you either, it is how you treat others is also portraying how you expect to be treated by them (I don’t lie to you, don’t lie to me). It's also not necessarily about treating nice. Getting angry is not a sin as many people claim. Getting angry “without a cause” is, Matt 5: 22 KJV. A valid reason is needed. If you are wronged and you know they know better (knowingly illegal ) but do it anyway, getting angry is an expression of unacceptable behavior. Remember Jesus rebuked Peter and rebuke means to chastise harshly. However, another teaching is in play as well, "do not sin in anger”. Violence in anger is unacceptable. There is another verse that may play a part, yet I believe its meaning is misrepresented somewhat. “Do not let the sun go down on your wrath” is the verse I refer to. Many people have taken it literal. They say it means “don’t go to bed with unresolved issues or angry”. I’m not convinced about this. I personally believe it refers to a communities attitude to sin or wrong doing. So to allow the sun to go down on your wrath to me is more about acceptance to sin in the christian community. The sun going down represents the cooling off of the day and therefore the cooling to sin, a form of permission. Stay scorching hot (the wrath of the sun) to sin (bad behavior) I believe it more closely is referring to.I’m sure it says “Do unto others as you would have be done to you”. This is linked to “What you sow, so shall you reap”. Now given that Jesus said “Vengeance is mine says the Lord”, and that we are not to “repay evil with evil” I’m sure “as you would have them do unto you” is not an accurate translation. As this is permission to behave equally bad as each other, thus breaking evil for evil. But stating your issue, then if unresolved, leaving it in Gods hands to deal with is in line with “vengeance is mine”. Also from start to finish of the bible God wants His people to rely on Him to intervene for them and deal with unresolved issues. Treating others appropriately (not nice) will make most encounters the best it could be. Keep your conscience clear of sin is important in your relationship with God.

Do You Believe In the Quote: "You Pay for What You Get?"?

I've actually never heard that quote. The familiar quote is "You get what you pay for," which means that if you want quality, you have to expect to pay for it. If you pay a cheap price, you'll get low quality. I find it to be very true, both in merchandise and service.

Do you believe in this quote (Napoleon Hill)?

Napoleon Hill said 'anything the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve' Do you believe this to be true. Do you actually think if you push yourself mentally you can do something that is physical. Say you need to run one more lap do you think if you tell yourself you can do it, you actually can do it? Thanks in advance!

Do you believe in the quote “follow you dreams”? Why or why not?

I definitely believe it is of the utmost importance that people follow their dreams. No one ever faults a person for following his/her dreams—unless they have some agenda or something at stake in the matter. We don’t really fault people for not following their dreams either, but people fault themselves or they blame others, becoming resentful and feeling perpetually unfulfilled. Of course, no one can make the decision for you. It means taking a risk; it means seeing yourself with clarity, and it means discovering just where this dream comes from, what it is you want from it. Some people want to be artists, so one would suspect that they loved the creative process and were, perhaps, driven to the work by a need to express themselves. But what if they only want be famous artists? Then the dream they are following has less to do with the creative process and more to do with fame. A person in this situation would do well to consider the many avenues to fame in order to follow that dream specifically.

Do you believe in the quote, “opposite attracts”?
