Do You Believe In This Type Of Stuff

Do you believe in Ghosts?

at first no. im the type of person that has to experience things to believe in them for the most part. lately however there have been weird things that has happened in our home since my mom passed away less then a month ago. things nobody can explain nor things that we have experienced living here and we've been living here for 20+ years. im 26 i've lived in this house for 24 years and 2 years out of state i am the youngest child so my sisters and parents been living here longer then me and even they haven't experienced this stuff.

we think it's our mom but we try to be logical about the situations as well.

What type of stuff do Wiccans do?

Spells, magic, rituals, stuff like that.

Do you believe in palm reading?

oh yeah she just started saying things that only me and my friends would know about. and NO i didnt even say a word to her and she just started talking. i know some of those so called psychics are good readers of "characters" meaning they can read what type of person you are. well all i did was open my hands, she talked for 10 minz straight. then asked me to make a wish.then she talks about my wish w.o me telling her what my wish was... i wasnt a believe of these sort of things but today was an experience!

What types of stuff do people get grounded for?

Mouthing off, not cleaning/doing your chores when asked, getting bad grades, coming home past curfew, partying... ha, I don't know. Pretty much anything that's disrespectful to your parents or deliberately doing something they told you not to do.

:D

Do you believe that the alpha, beta, gamma, sigma, etc. male types are too some degree, real for all men?

I must say this “Greek letter male” stuff really intrigues me. How many types of men are there? Is it good t be the Omega male, since nobody would be left? What happens when we run out of Greek letters? There’s a lot of types here for online dating “gurus” to make money off. The alpha male concept is ridiculously old in the social community. And we know it’s not applicable to humans now, (see The Fallacy of the Alpha Male) so we need new Greek letter men.Or do we?Personally I think the entire Greek letter man concept is marketing BS designed by shady characters to make money off an obsolete market. So, no, the concepts are not real.

Do you believe some people have psychic abilities?

Everybody has the potential to develop and use psychic abilities. Most people have minds cluttered with thoughts and activities that prevent them from percieving the subtle stimuli that may enable them to develop the abilities that we currently call Psi abilities. Just as a musician is able to focus in on the notes and perceive music with more precision than somebody with an untrained ear, a psychic is able to focus in on these subtle stimuli and actually percieve more than most people.

These abilities are not unusual or magical in any way. The information and knowledge available to a psychic are available to anybody who trains themselves to quiet their mind. A good psychic is somebody who has practiced or learned to recognize the stimuli and who has discovered a technique for interpreting what they percieve. A great psychic will apply these techniques and use this knowledge in a way that is useful within the world.

Your friend, though unique in your experience, is not unique in the world. There are many people who have similar experiences and who have abilities that are not easily understood by other people. I would recommend that your friend try to seek out and locate other people who have had similar experiences. Through discussion and the sharing of experiences, he could become more comfortable with his abilities, and he may come to accept it as a normal part of life rather than considering it something that needs to be hidden away. Thanks for the question!

Do people ever believe you're a certain type of person when you really aren't?

All the time. People think I am bit of a snob or allusive. Truth is I am just taking my time to get to know them and I like to behave in a certain manner and I like to look after myself in the way I present myself most of the time.I also don’t put up with any rubbish from anyone. Bless my old bosses - they taught me that one. But because I also come across as friendly as I smile a lot and I don’t sweat the small stuff, they also think that I am a push over then are shocked when they realise quite how able I am to stand my ground when I need to. I have absolutely no problem in calling someone out on bad behaviour at all. Doesn’t matter who it is. I am also very good at doing it in such a way that it makes them think about their behaviour, so instead of screaming and shouting I challenge them with a smile and question them which makes them think. I have no issues at all with saying no and meaning no.Also the smiley thing makes people think that I am not going to take challenges or criticism well. They don’t understand that I see it as an opportunity for personal development and growth rather than someone being nasty so they hate saying anything bad to me. Truth is I would rather know.
