Scientists are saying that "The Cretaceous period 65 million years ago was the hottest in the history of the earth. Man was not around at the time," and that fears of climate change amount to propaganda and "unnecessarily cause panic". I feel so sad about my sisters growing up?
My little sisters are 5 and 3, and they're my babies. I'm basically like their mum and the thought of them growing up is really really depressing. I feel like crying every time I think about it. I know it's inevitable and I'm sure parents feel that way all the time, but it's consuming my thoughts lately. I'm 15, so two or three years from now I'm going to be moving away for university. The thought of that as well has made me cry. I mean, get upset when I don't tuck them in one night. I dunno how I'm gonna deal with only seeing them once or twice a month, if that... I feel like they're already growing up too fast, they're both going to be 6 and 4 soon and I hate it. Once I move away I'm gonna miss out on everything. I'm gonna feel extremely guilty when I leave. I know I shouldn't be worrying about it already but I can't help it. Thoughts? Thanks :)
I want to believe in god/jesus christ, BUT MY BRAIN, WON'T LET ME!?
I believed in god for most of my life, though around last year, I started this weird phase where I just don't believe there is a god. I don't believe that there's a bearded guy that lives in the clouds. I don't believe in the SPIRITUAL WORLD anymore. This annoys me because I want to be christian, and there's only one reason why. And that's because I want to believe in heaven, I want to believe that there's a place you go after you die where you see your family and friends again and relive old memories. The thought of my parents just.. dieing, makes me sick. I can't fathom not seeing my parents or other loved ones after they die, the thought of not having an after life disturbs me. I want to believe in jesus christ, I want to believe in god, but whenever I try to, I automatically try to contradict it with science, I just want to be christian in order to be happy. Can someone please help?
About homosexuality- which do you think is better?
Say there is a gay guy who wants to get married, which do you think is the best and most fair option for him: A) Marry another gay man and they both live happily ever after B) Marry a straight woman, but the gay guy is unhappy in this relationship as he does not truly love his wife. Also it is unfair on the wife as she does not know her husband is secretly gay.
