Do You Feel Badly For The 0bama Kids Sasha And Malia Having To Grow Up With Widely Hated Parents

Most Democrats seem to feel sorry for Melania Trump. Republicans were extremely mean to Michelle Obama. Is this indicative of both groups’ thinking?

The liberals I know have no sympathy at all for Melania. She supported her husband through his childish campaign and even minimized antics like “grabbed her by the pussy.” And then she declares that as first lady, she will advocate for reducing online bullying. Who is the biggest bully out there? Her husband. She lives in a gilded apartment several dozen floors above 5th Avenue and now she’s adding to the country’s debt by staying in NYC — with her own Secret Service detail — rather than being by her husband’s side. Why doesn’t she move to Washington? The only thing I can come up with is that she can’t stand the guy she’s married to. Every other Presidents’ kids moved schools just fine. Amy Carter, the Bush twins, Sasha and Malia. Even if Barron does have certain learning or social disabilities, I’m sure he will be fine. OR, Trump should tell us the real reason why Melania doesn’t want to leave NY.I think Melania married for the same reasons I take a job: A paycheck and health insurance. She’ll never have to worry about money again. Feel sorry for her? This liberal says “nope.” “No way.” “Uh-uh.”

Barack Obama's daughter and natural hair...why do some black people have a problem with it?

Here's a pic of Barack Obama's oldest daughter with a natural hairstyle (two strand twists)
http://bossip.com/129520/malia-obama-bac...

The comments on this mainly black site turned into rude comments about her hair looking bad and and she should have it pressed and so forth.

And it's not just this site either where I have read lots of comments about Malia wearing her hair in natural hairstyles...I've seen it on other black sites as well.

What do you think about people attacking politician's kids?

I think anyone who launches a public attack on a child, regardless of who their parents are, is scum.Donald Trump is fair game. He makes controversial comments on a daily basis, pursues policies as President that many disagree with, and most of all, he deliberately keeps himself in the public eye and therefore gives implied consent to being criticized for his actions and behaviors.Barron Trump has done none of those things. He is a 10-year-old boy. The only reason anyone would say anything negative about him is because they dislike his father. Well, Barron couldn’t pick who his father is, and he has nothing to do with anything his father does as POTUS. He should be left alone. The same applied to Malia and Sasha Obama. If someone disagreed with something Barack Obama did, that’s fine. Barack Obama is an adult, and like what I said about Trump, he implied consent to public scrutiny and criticism when he ran for and achieved public office. However, Malia and Sasha were children and did nothing to warrant criticism, regardless of who their father was.Adult children of a President can be a different story. Three of Trump’s adult children, sons Eric and Donald Jr., and daughter Ivanka, are playing a role in his Presidency. They’ve therefore signed up for the public scrutiny that comes from that position. If Tiffany Trump chooses to do the same at some point, the same goes for her (she should be left alone if she doesn’t). But not Barron. He won’t even turn 18 until the last year of a possible second term for his father.Katie Rich, the SNL writer who wrote that detestable comment about Barron Trump, was fired and deservedly so. That’s inexcusable. There are 10,000 jokes that you can make about Donald Trump, and he gives his critics more material every day. Stick to making fun of him, if you don’t support him. Leave his young son out of this.

What’s your opinion on Joshua trump sleeping being used as a politial tool?

No one but Donald Trump has used Joshua as a political tool. That said tool fell asleep on him is just funny. You don’t see the irony in it? Anyway, I think it’s terrible the way kids will pick on a kid with a funny name. It is not Joshua’s fault that Trump has become a term of derision, probably because of what kids hear their parents say at home about Donald, which, if the parents are normal, is probably not good. Most people are now starkly aware of what a debacle the Trump administration has been from its inception and are waiting anxiously for the last straw before he does permanent damage. Kids hear their parents say Trump is an idiot and a pervert and a traitor, and they level the same treatment at the kid with the same name. It is childish and cruel, and I feel bad for poor Joshua, who did nothing to deserve it.Joshua’s also did not deserve to have his plight be cast as a representation of the well-deserved derision that should rightly fall on Donald Trump for his behavior as president. SOTU guests are there for a reason, and Joshua was there to make a point, namely that Donald Trump is being picked on for no reason just like Joshua, and it is bullshit, like most all of Donald Trump’s self-serving malarkey.I can’t say I remember little boys getting teased about being named Kennedy, Johnson, or Carter, or any other presidential name in my lifetime. Maybe Donald Trump should look closer to home to find out whose fault it is that such shame should be brought upon his family name, that the name Trump should come to represent everything real Americans abhor, centering around a gross lack of integrity, narcissism, and a habit of lying on an unprecedented scale. I feel bad for Joshua, that his name should be sullied, as well.

Can you give an example of a character (from a movie or a TV show) who died far more horribly than he or she obviously deserved?

Glen from The Walking DeadI could rant for two or three years about how wrong this was—how detrimental it was to the show, how stupid this decision was. But, in discussing The Walking Dead, it was stupid decision after stupid decision after stupid decision. In my opinion, this was the most grotesque thing that happened, but, there’s more. Abraham and Sasha died too. The show built up a romance, hurt that other girl who loved Abraham and then killed him and had Sasha kill herself. Why?Carl—Coral—never got to grow up. He could have been something great, but he was killed in the least Carl-way possible. The writers wanted him to stay a kid forever and Coral died a kid, which was a shame as I think he would have been an awesome and savage man better and more fit to deal with the apocalypse than his dad ever was. That poor gay guy that had a boyfriend and the nutters wrote in and said they ‘didn’t want to see that’ and ‘think of the children’ and whatever and so the writers kinda wrote the little blond one out of the plot. And this person that dropped everything and fought a horde of zombies to get back to this little blond guy just seemed to forget he existed somewhere in there. I think he might have died (the blond one), I don’t know. I stopped watching right before Glen got his head bashed in. Peeked in to watch Sasha eat one of Eugene’s special pills and forgot whatever channel The Walking Dead comes on existed.Internet says the writers have killed Jesus. And I think the other gay romance option bit the dust as well. But it was Glen that did it for me really. In that nightmare, he and Maggie had each other, and that little bit of romance was enough to watch that murder-show for. And then they killed him in that horrible way—and I just stopped giving a shit.If I want to watch people die hopelessly and senselessly, I’ll watch the news.

What is your reaction to this: GOP Staffer Apologizes For Lecturing Obama Daughters To "Show A Little Class"?

Back in the 1980's to the early 90"s a theory of management emerged called Total Quality Management (TQM). This was during a period when Japan's industrial prowess was thought to be much greater than that of the USA.Even though there was never a generally agreed upon definition of TQM, the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award was established in August 1897. Very American. We don't know what TQM is, but we'll give an award anyway. All this is long forgotten now that the US has resurrected itself (largely through technology), and Japan has come down from her lofty quality perch. All this shows, again, how short our collective memory is.(Sort of like declaring Michael Jordan the best basketball player in the history of the universe because we never saw anyone else as good on TV). One of the tenants of TQM is that line personnel, i.e., those that actually talk to the "customer" (poor blighters) can not be phoney or artificial because they have so perfectly absorbed the attitudes and values of those management giants and geniuses above them. All freewill is eradicated, they are both sponges and mirrors. (Any questions about why TQM was left in the dust?)So when you meet a great CSR, it's because the company is so well run. Likewise, when you meet a jerk, it's because the jerk has been exposed to jerks above, fully absorbed the TJQ (Total Jerkiness Quotient), and is projecting. Wouldn't Freud love this? With all this in mind, and after burying my lead, what happened with the Presidential Daughters over the turkey pardon is explainable by referring to TQM.That Tennessee staffer who wrote the Facebook post is perfectly reflecting the office she works in, the Congressman she works for, and the party she has decided to admire. And herein lies the tale. She perfectly reflects the Republicans and their disdain for this President. This attitude is in the air and water for Republicans. It goes without saying that they hate Obama so much that they are willing to attack children to make their sick point. And, by doing this for fully six years now, have (once again) poisoned our politics. And for what? The answer to that is evident: power. "WE" just turned the Congress over to these people.
