I love my girlfriend, but is mistrust getting between us?
I have been dating this girl for about a year and we broke up once because she was attracted to another guy. After being apart for 4 months we got back together and things have been great. The only problem was that there is still resentment from me about this guy she was "attracted" to, and naturally I started to feel paranoid over time that this was going to happen again. At frist I never looked at her phone then she got a txt late at night and it was one of her friends saying "what for?" it was her asking her friend for the guys number. So I approached her about it and she got mad that I went trough her phone. Totally ignoring the fact that she was asking for his number and acting like that is none of my business. I have caught her going trough my phone before so it not like I'm acting alone on this one. Anyway, fast foward to new years eve, I was working that night so her and a friend came to my work to see me. That was awesome of her to do that but after they left she went with her friend to hang out with that guy right after seeing me! She admitted to me the next day that she did go see him but it was just with a bunch of friends. And I get mad and get into an arguement with her and she apologies and says she feels awefull that she would go behind my back. So I start looking at her phone every chance I get because I know that this is starting to get out of hand and I want to protect myself from being dumped again by her. One day she goes out with her friends and she says I'm with this friend so ,stupid me, I call that friend to I guess check up on her and of corse her friend tells her I just called. My girl goes out a few days later to meet up with this guy and doesn't tell me and then meets me later. Now she is being totally distant from me and finally today we talked and she feels like im not giving her the space to do what she wants and I feel like she is not respecting my feelings. We don't want to break up, but this is getting out of hand. What to do?
Wife checks my phone constantly but wont let me near hers?
My wife and I have been married for 1 year and 4 months. We dated for 1 year and 2 days before we married. I love her. She means everything to me. However, she is constantly checking my cell phone. I find it rather annoying especially since I know that I am doing nothing wrong and there is no reason for her to check it. I have never cheated and never would. What annoys me even more about this is that she will not let me ANYWHERE near her cell phone. She even takes it with her to the bathroom! Should I be concerned about this? How do I mention this to her without coming off as a complete ahole?
My girlfriend wants my facebook password and it is annoying me and my mates?
what :O tell her no way! if it was a case of mistrust i would say that you could sign in and let her have 1 look through anything she was worried about and that is more than generous enough on your part. it doesn't really sound like mistrust if she is liking things and messaging people though! if she doesn't have her own facebook account set one up for her and change your password! i hate to be cliched but love is based on trust however we all have insecurities and 1 look should be enough to resolve hers. i really think you should put your foot down, start as you mean to go on because if she can get away with this then her demands will only increase! best of luck xxx
Haven't heard from my boyfriend all day, am I over reacting?
so I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and things have moved slow but at least they are moving forward, after the holidays, since things were so busy and crazy he just wanted this weekend to himself. I admit it, it annoys me, we don't have to go out but for part of the weekend we could just hang out and relax, but ok, I try to respect his wishes and we didn't do anything all weekend. but we also haven't texted or talked much at all either- like today he has not texted me at all. You can say I didn't text him either, but I always text him first and this is supposed to be his weekend and his time, so I am trying to not bother him. and I usually text him first anyways. my issue is that is bothers me that I feel like I can't text him, I feel like we are in this stupid rut, and to be honest I have super bad PMS so it is good we didn't see each other this weekend as I am super irrational - I can't blame the fact that he did not text me much on PMS though cause I know it has bothered me before. anyways, would you be bothered if your boyfriend didn't text you all day? or am I over reacting?
Why do dogs seem to dislike certain people at first sight for no obvious reason?
I had a female Pit Bull named Sentia. Sentia liked every human she met her entire life, except ONE. My friend/roommate invited a guy she was dating to the house one day. Sentia went with me to answer the door. I could tell by her body language that she was put off by him. I didn’t see anything particularly alarming about his posture, gaze, etc and I turned to the side to let him in. As he stepped toward the door, Sentia moved in front of me and gave just a little growl. I said “Wow, NO” and held her collar to bring her to my side to let him in. He stepped toward the door again and she lunged forward (with my hand in her collar, ouch!) and very clearly threatened to attack him. At that point I said “look man, I don’t know you but I know my dog and if she says you can’t come in, I’m not comfortable bringing you in.” My roommate was very upset with me. She dated him for a few months and he turned out to be very abusive with morbid jealousy issues. At one point he was threatening to burn down my house because she broke up with him. As far as I’m concerned, Sentia knew something that I didn’t!
