Do You Get Uncomfortable Around People Who Clearly Have A Lot Of Money And Let It Get To Their Head

Why do I feel uncomfortable around my boyfriend?

I have been dating him for about 2 1/2 months. He's really shy and soft spoken. He's sweet to me, and all. We hit it off really well at first, but I've been uncomfortable around him. At first I was just in awe that I found someone who seemed really right for me, we have amazing chemistry, communicate well, like to do the same things. At first I was uncomfortable because I couldn't believe this really sweet and cute boy liked me.. who had his act together. But now I'm just uncomfortable with him. We are dealing with typical relationship stuff... figuring out each other, if we like each other and can see if we would work out long term. I am dealing with anxiety, depression, working out my own emotions, being a single mom, stupid job, money, stupid baby daddy. Coming from an abusive childhood. He is younger than me, and hasn't been through a lot of the things I've been through. We had a converstion a few days ago, where we talked for hours about our relationship. He told me that he wasn't sure if he could see being with me for the rest of his life and he wasn't experiencing the "head over heels" he felt with his last girlfriend (which ended with them fighting all the time over little things) ...He still just wants to enjoy our time together and get to know each other I'm okay with that, but he didn't tell me that he had feelings for me... it would of been nice if he followed up with, but I really love this about you, and I'm definitely interested...He's really sweet he cooks me dinner, lunch, breakfast, shares everything he has, takes me out... I had some pretty intense feelings for him, but I pulled back after he said that. I'm always worried that I'm annoying him, or he has a problem with me, what I'm doing.. who I am.. I'm so confused. What if I wasn't dealing with so much anxiety? What if I had confidence in myself? I guess that because I feel tense around him, I'm kinda clumsy, don't say what I want to say, I'm kinda dorky...
I don't get it....

Why do people let money go to their head?

Because that's where it came from. Money is imaginary. If civilization collapsed it would have no value yet everything else would. It's all in our heads.

I have never been rich. But my family is like yours. "Gettin", is the meaning of life for them. I don't miss them at all.

What are the problems people who wear glasses face that others don't?

Excess spending - we are marginalised. We have to purchase glasses when others take their vision for granted.Rain - someone needs to invent washer wipers for glasses. Or mini umbrellas.Hot food and drinks - glasses fog up easily. Being blind and trying to eat is not a good combination.Big heads - everyone wants to try on your glasses. People have giant heads. They make the glasses bigger and it will no longer fit snug.Being a genius - wearing glasses apparently makes people a genius. Whilst true in my case, it does not apply to everyone. Not all with glasses can solve complex equations in their heads. You lose your glasses, and you can’t find them. Attaching a keyfinder to your glasses maybe practical but does not aid in its aesthetic value.Showers become a chore. People should not move your shampoos and conditioners from their usual spot!!! The steam does not help, either.Say goodbye to naps. You can not sneakily nap on the couch or in class as leaning your head on anything makes your glasses move and bend.3D glasses do not fit on top. You continously have to adjust them. You need to clean the glasses constantly. Anti reflective coating is a dust magnet. Not all your shirts clean your glasses equally well.Gym makes them fog up. You could walk into a weight rack whilst trying to put the dumbbells away.Precription sunglasses.Trampolins and rollercoasters make them fly off.Glasses are not novelty items for everyone else to try and keep them for a while. We genuinely need them. Its not a fashion statement.Making out. Glasses get in the way.Making out with someone else who also wears glasses. The two pairs of glasses smack against each other like its world war 3 and make for awkward pashes.Think fast!! Boom. A tennis ball hits you in the glasses. Not nice.Taking off your shirt becomes a mini wrestling contest with your glasses. It always results in you tapping out.Getting into a fight takes much more consideration when you have your glasses on.Clowns think its funny to hide your glasses.Others advice you to use contact lenses. Sticking things in my eyes is not my forté. I once visited an optometrist to try contact lenses. I put one in that I could not take out. It took me around 40minutes to take it out. The vision in one eye was perfect with the lens in. The other seemed to be obstructed with a mini puff of cloud.Despite all the problems, we still look sexy ;)

Is doing a honeymoon registry a good idea? Any pros/cons?

My fiance and I are already adults, and we have everything we could need (with no room for anything else). We have all our dishes and kitchen gadgets, furniture, etc., so we are thinking about doing a honeymoon registry. Has anyone had any experience with honeymoon registries? I don't know much about them, so any information would be helpful! Thank you!

Why do people claim they love there horses, but treat them like slaves?

Troll...
I'm a western rider and I ride in Ring Mouth Snaffle. my saddle is 20 pounds and if my horse hated being ridden I wouldn't be on his back. I have one girth I the front the back one is to make the saddle stay in place. No I ignore the horn it's not for balance. It was used for roping and the horn just stayed there. I don't use spurs they are training aid for stubborn horses or to clear cues. Where in Sam Hill did you here about baseball bats? My horse can keep his head where he wants in WP the horses are tried to keep their heads down. Cows are tough stubborn animals I have several. Horses are fast quick thinking animals, the cows get rounded up or tied BIG DEAL.

I also ride English, no your stereotyping. Inenglish they use direct contact to the bit. It looks like their pulling but they aren't. The crop is for reinforcement when a horse misbehaves or when he needs a boost. No they don't just make other people do the work.

Trail rides are non competitive riders who enjoy leisure rides. not drinking hillbillies. I trail ride and I know how ride damn well.

Racehorses are bred to run. The crop is to lengthen their strides and cover more ground in shorter time. The horses are raced young but they are bred to run. Some horses are injured and PUT DOWN like Eight Belles or Barbaro. Life is life evrything dies, some die earlier.

Gaited horses are born baited they are just trained further to keep the gaits going. Yes some people do drug their horses whoop de do.

Oh god go see Arabian Nights or something' they can ride better than most people and they need more control than some.

Your a horrible owner 23 is to much if you can't castrate them. Let them breed on their own is down right dumb. They ca get diseases or they can refuseeachother and fight. Castrate them.Horses are machines. They have been ridden for years and years. You decide not to ride but billions of people do. You don't see daily reports of horses dieing of being ridden for an hour. You see reports of dead horses being neglected like yours are.

Thanks for your time,idiot .

How can I ask for my money back from a friend without being rude?

It's not rude to ask a friend to settle a debt.  Use polite language, don't be accusatory and let them know that you appreciate their friendship."I feel uncomfortable about our outstanding debt, and I don't want it to become an issue. Would it be possible to settle it soon? Thanks for understanding."That's particularly soft (especially "our debt") but fairly firm.  You can choose to be more direct without being rude: "Remember that $X I lent you for Y?  I don't mean to nag, but I could really use it back."

Which mistakes should a beginner avoid when purchasing a motor cycle helmet?

Let me be really clear on something right off the bat. There is a huge difference between cheap, which refers to the quality, and inexpensive, which refers to the price.Rule # 1 — don't buy a cheap helmet!!!!Good helmets come in a wide price range. Great helmets they have a lot of bells and whistles are more pricey.Start with a good quality helmet that has a good field of vision and a lot of padding. You're protecting your brain and all the knowledge & skills that your brain has accumulated. Now is not the time to be skimping on quality.Stay away from buying a helmet over the internet. I have nothing against buying stuff over the internet but due to the varying sizes that come from different manufacturers, you don't know if a large from one is going to be an extra large or a medium from another. So go down to a large motorcycle shop and try on several, preferably from different manufacturers, just to see how they fit.If you are buying a Harley from a Harley dealer, they usually have a wide selection of helmets that you can try on. Just keep in mind every helmet I have seen it a Harley dealer has the Harley logo on it and they are usually a lot more price-wise than comprable helmets. From a personal standpoint, I wouldn't wear a Harley-Davidson helmet if you're riding something else.Lastly, find one you like. Don't get a helmet with skulls or flames or outrageous paint schemes if that is not your style. You're not going to feel good knowing that other people are looking at a helmet that you are wearing and don't like. There are literally thousands of different designs and colors you can choose from. If they shop doesn't have one they can order it.That's about it. Welcome to the world of motorcycling and stay safe
