I think your song's good. I don't know if you're the one who sing and rap in it too, but if you do, I'd like to make a suggestion.The rap part is good, but I think the refrain part could use some work. I believe it'll sound better if the vocal's turn up a little bit so it'll sound stronger. And if I were you, I would use only the piano and vocal for the ending.But then again, these are just a friendly advice. You can consider to use it or not. It is a cult classisc ever since Wayne's World came out in the eighties. Yes I like it. It is about a young man who killed someone and is telling his parents that he is going to jail for the murder and will probably die and that he wishes he could do things differently now but it is too late and all hopes from then is that they remember him fondly. It is quite powerful.

I think it was neat to see them both in a song together, whoever thought they would do a ballad! I figured something like that would be cool, but didn't think it would happen
Do guys pay attention to song lyrics?
Me and my best guy friend recently stopped being friends. Just stopped. There was no big fight, something happened and we didn't even confront eachother. We just stopped talking altogether. a big thing was getting out how i felt through song lyrics. But do you guys pay attention to song lyrics if girls write them down? i mean do you actually think about what they mean? Or do you see them as just words? eg. i feel a little sorry sometimes, you're not here when i am writing. It feels a little awkward sometimes, you won't talk but were not fighting. (that is excatly how i feel, but if you were that guy, would you get that?)

Alright, this might take awhile.(These songs are all by Tool, by the way)Start with Vicarious, it is a fantastic song, and great to open with. It also leads really well into the next song I recommend, Jambi.After all that excitement, tone it down a bit with Wings for Marie and 10,000 Days immediately after. They often call 10,000 Days Wings Part Two.Now that you’ve listened to the raw emotion that is Wings 1 and 2, listen to The Pot, my personal favourite Tool song. After that, you’re gonna need a minute to calm the fuck down, so listen to Lipan Conjuring.Then, you need to listen to Lost Keys/Blame Hofmann immediately before Rosetta Stoned, an epic song with a better plot than half the movies that come out these days. Seriously, if you only listen to one thing I say, listen to Rosetta Stoned. It’s so weird and good and dumb and stream of consciousness and cool and unbelievably good.After that, Intension and Right in Two should be a good way to finish the listening session off. Of course, we can’t forget Viginti Tres, which is literally just noise, but when played overtop of Wings 1 and 2 creates this beautiful hidden track that you should also check out.What I just described is the album 10,000 Days, in order, in it’s entirety.If you’re not too exhausted, you can listen to the rest of their albums, too.In no particular order, Lateralus, Opiate, Aenima, Undertow, and Salival.I’m officially waiting for a new Tool album.We need it. I love it!!! It makes me think of people, from my past. Esp. this one guy i used to date. Both him and I are married now. I just celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary. And he got married last year and I went with my Grandmother. I heard this song on the way home for the first time from his wedding. And it was so ironic that he called me a couple of weeks later and was telling me that they were trying to have a baby and he'slike have you heard that Nickleback song, he's like there one on their new CD and it kinda reminds me of you. I don't know it just kinda holds a special place in my heart. Nickleback rocks, you can work out to them, you can cry with them, they can speak words that you could never come up with on your to say the things that you were thinking, they make you think of how much fun life was when you were younger (highschool), that can make you Thank God All Mighty for what you have. That are just truly a great group. Hope this novel or an answer helps in anyway!!!!
