You could name it based on brand.. Dell - Adelle/Adelia Toshiba - Toshi Sony - Sonia IBM - Ingrid Bernice Michelle or Ivan Bernard Mitchell Apple - Cora (like apple core), Seed Compaq - Paco, Compie HP - Harriet Penelope, Hayworth Phillips, Halley Pippa
Women In the Navy, do you have to shower with other people?
1. Yes, you shower with others but you only get like 5 min anyway so no big deal. 2. I wasn't allowed to smoke. They checked our bags when we got there and thru out lighters and cigs. 3. You can take personal things but they'll secure them while in bootcamp. I wouldn't take anything personal, they'll let you get some make-up at the px before you take pictures and that will be the only time you're allowed to wear it. 4. I got sick many times with sinus infections/bronchitis and they give you SIQ (Sick in Quarters) so you have to lay in your rack for 24 hours and go back to medical. I usually have bad cramps but because of all the exercise and stress I skipped my periods. 5. If you fail the initial swim test, they will train you to swim so you can pass it. I can't swim very well and I passed first time out. You just have to be able to tread water for 3.5 minutes and swim the distance of the pool (I doggy paddled ... they laughed at me but I made it). 6. You don't take money with you. When I went we got a smart card that they had put money on for us and take it out of your first paycheck. They will take you to get everything you need from the PX. 7. You can wear minimal make-up for the pictures and I think (don't quote me) for the pass-in-review. But, when I went thru it was just natural colored lipstick and mascara. No foundation/powder/blush etc. EDIT: To the guy above me - They didn't pull my wisdom teeth out. I still have all of mine.
Is Apple's MacBook Air worth buying?
Seems like there are many Apple fans here. Let me try to give a different perspective.I recently decided to buy Macbook Air.. but just before buying it, I thought I'd check out other options that I am passing over. I soon realized that any and every other option offers great many features for the same price. I strongly felt - what then is the point in going for a Macbook? There is retina display, yes - but that is not my top priority. I thankfully have a decent sight..and can make out what is displayed on the screen in any normal display device. Retina display is good, but is it worth paying so much more for? Not for me.There is no touch screen.. In today's age of touch devices, a laptop with touchscreen is a natural preference for me. Especially since the technology is widely available and so many other vendors have brought in this feature on their laptops - Dell, Sony, Asus, Lenovo, HP, ... Battery life ... I see many suckers for this. Apple may use the world's best battery, but the main factor for good battery life is the way you use it! It does not matter if you have the world's best battery in there - if you keep overcharging your batteries or leave it uncharged for long, etc. you will certainly screw up the battery capacity. If you follow recommended ways for extending battery life, you can make any decent battery work well for you. So, for this point, my humble opinion is, charge / discharge as you ought to and get the best out of any battery. Or are you buying a laptop mainly for its batteries?Many may not want this .. but I like to configure my computer. That is the main reason I have never bought an Apple computer ever... I finally decided to buy a Macbook but like I said, when I went to review other available options, I realized why I have never bought an Apple product ever. I just don't see the value for money - and by that I mean, for the same budget, you can get better value if you go for other options.I eventually went for a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14 - has a touch screen and motion sensor technology. Windows 8 is not bad.. I may want to pump up my RAM but otherwise no complaints yet - in fact I am loving it so much, I don't think I can ever go back to a normal laptop (without a touch screen)!Macbook is really boring compared to Ideapad.I am not saying go for a cheaper option with the same feature set .. I am saying if you can afford a Macbook Air, you might as well buy something that offers a whole many features, for the same price.
How many players does Diablo 2 support on LAN?
I have a lan party tonight and we just beat Dungeon Siege. We want to play a game much like it, but not an MMORPG, because limited internet connection. Can you tell me how many players can be in the same game over a LAN in diablo 2? OR if you know another awesome hack and slash adventure RPG game that would be helpful.
Why do people like macs so much?
I will try to understand everyone's opinion but why? I used both and personally I always enjoyed PCs better. Macs are very simple and so plain. Yes I REALLY hate the color silver when it's just everywhere! I agree the macs have an amazing display but the lack of colors for the windows and borders in the screen really just ruin it for me. I'm red-green color blind not completely colour blind! I can see colours so why is it that all I see is just white and silver??? Evveryone says the biggest issues with PCs are viruses and personally I might have been lucky but I never came across a virus attack or even issue. And I'm a big downloader. I go to all websites and never encountered a problem with viruses.. I have a 6 year old compaq that runs on vista and has never failed me besides when it came to playing games but other than that.. It still works amazing. PCS are cheap and a lot less inexpensive to upgrade. I can buy a toshiba qosmio for 1/3 of the price of a mac pro laptop! that's insane!!! My computer have never crashed on me besides the compaq I have but it was really abuse and jjust tortured so it wasn't such a big surprise. With PCs you can choose which media player to use not just itunes which is great but again IT NEVER CHANGES ITS APPEARANCE!! grey grey grey! I'm curious if maybe steve jobs employs are fully colour blind because I'm completely baffled as to why SILVER and WHITE! I don't know I personally prefer a computer that is cheap and reliable and allows me to play video games without switching my operating system. Not to mention a computer with a very artistic style when it comes to the display and folders. I love colours and love the different changes in the OS as years progress. Windows 7 trasparent borders and windows is what I'm really enjoying as this time.
