Youtube videos aren't loading?
more than half of the youtube videos won't load. it doesn't give me any kind of message to update anything, the little flash circle dot thing just keeps on turning and it never stops. heeelp --- UPDATE: okay, so i managed to get some of the videos i wanted to see working, but i haven't tried this on everything yet. but if i do the quality upgrade with the &fmt=18 extension to the url, it will play. not only that, but the video loads like... REALLY fast.

1) go to youtube.com/cosmicpanda 2) click 'try it out' button, to change to the new design 3) go back to the video you were watching. Click on the box to make a new comment, and to the right hand side you will see an option that says 'or create a video response' By the way, the uploader of the video can also stop you from using the video response function on their own videos if they like, so make sure to try on different video to be sure. ---------------------------------------... I need to block someones IP address from viewing my Youtube videos?
You cannot block an IP address in YouTube. For one, YouTube would never give people that capability and very few individual people have static IP addresses. You would have to block their ISP, which again, you can't do in YouTube. The only way is to edit the view rights (make them private). Sorry!
Why can't I upload YouTube videos in 1080P? Or even 720p?
I record video game footage, and I do so in HD 1080p, the whole deal. I've got the right equipment and when I watch the footage after I record it, it's in beautiful, perfect high def. But...when I actually upload it to YouTube, the maximum resolution it will let me watch it in is 480p and it looks horrible. I use the Hauppauge HD PVR and my process is as follows: Record footage Import footage into iMovie Edit footage, including voiceover/commentary Export/share movie by clicking share in iMovie menu, then selecting "Large (960x540)" Upload Now...at first I assumed the issue was popping up in the export/share step, especially because videos that I upload right away (as in, clips that I don't edit in iMovie at all) I can watch in 1080p...but even when I watch this particular edited video on my computer (as in the file itself, not the clip on YouTube) it looks pretty good still. It loses SOME resolution, but not a lot...not so much that I shouldn't be able to watch the video in better resolution than 480p anyway. Can anyone help me with this?
