How long does a YouTube show take to become popular?
I was just curious as to how long it might take to get noticed on YouTube. Should I quit after a few months if I don't have 50+ subscribers? Do you think my show even has a chance to ever become popular? People compare me to =3 (Ray William Johnson's Youtube show) a lot and say I don't stand a chance. But I produce videos every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, whereas =3 only comes out Mondays and Thursdays. Plus, I watch my language in order to target all audiences. Your chances of getting popular are close to 1% but due to the fact that you guys are females and possibly be entertaining to watch as there are a lot of pervs on YouTube, it would bump up your chances.To about 5%. (I see a lot of girl youtubers get big really easy. ) You can not expect to get popular on YouTube within months . Personally I had been on YouTube for over 3 years. Made couple of YouTube accounts. Now, a year ago I restarted and decided to start fresh. I am currently at around 1000 and a little bit more. I have been trying really hard this summer so it really increased my fan base. There are a couple things you girls might want to keep in mind and not just because you are girls. These are the few things that could help you out the near future. 1. Have great audio (No one wants to hear some crappy audio microphone quality) 2. Have high quality videos. (No one would want to watch a low quality video) 3. Be yourself and just a little of humor would be awesome. ^^ 4. Enjoy doing YouTube, do not make it like it's your job. ( I did try and do that once by making an upload schedule but it wasn't fun.) 5. Do not spam but instead you can personally message others as that helps a lot. 6. Be original. 7. Communicate with your subscribers and reply to them! It helps :D 6. Like I said before, patience and do not expect to grow to 1 thousand within a day.
