Do You Know Any Famous Authors Who Were Outcasts

Have you ever felt like an outcast?

The school I fit in most was a school made solely up of misfits.I’ve gone to public schools, private Christian schools, online schools, and a school for homeschoolers. I’ve tried it all.I never fit in at the public schools or the private Christian school. But, the school in particular I fit in the most at, was the school for homeschoolers. The school of misfits, eccentrics, and oddballs (this wasn’t a title I made up, credit goes to my friend, Hunter). Even the teachers were outcasts in their own ways.Being an outcast, in my experience, feels lonely, uncomfortable, and anxiety-inducing. People talk, and they share their rumors. Your cloaked in a veil of uncertainty and people judge you based off of the rumors they most believe. They mistreat you.I don’t know that I was ever really made to fit in. I have a weird name, my parents are two different races, I love school and I take my education seriously, I respect teachers, I don’t buy my clothes from the same places, I don’t always follow fashion that’s “in”, and I like to shop at thrift stores. I have a weird sense of humor, my dressing style isn’t quite the same as everybody else’s, I’m quiet, I ask too many questions, I turn in all my assignments on time and am an over-achiever.If I fit in at a public school-like place, I only fit in for a little while. The thing is, when you’re an outcast, you don’t even realize you’re an outcast until people start telling you. You don’t realize that you should not have worn those shoes, that jacket, or that your backpack was bought from a different place than most people’s. You don’t even realize that your interests are “weird”.People assume that when you’re quiet and private, you’re normal. But when you’re quiet and private, people eventually start asking questions, they don’t ask you though, they ask their friends, then they make assumptions and perpetuate their judgment. They then act on their judgment. That’s how it goes.

Who are considered outcasts in modern society? How are they usually treated?

An outcast can be defined as somebody who is ostracized. It is not enough to be a minority, as minorities are usually accepted into the main group. If somebody is an outcast, try to determine the real reason. If it is a racial thing, then you must realize it is the person doing the rejecting that has the mental problem. If somebody is an outcast because of their own behavior, then it is up to them to change. I am an outcast because I am a Trans Woman. I look like a man, but act and dress as a woman does. So in my case if a group hates me, is it my behavior that is bad? Or maybe a prejudice of the groups that make me an outcast? I’ve been sexually assaulted more than once. I am rejected for any job I may apply to. I’ve been slapped, spit upon countless times and verbally harassed daily. 50% of Trans Women have attempted suicide, and 1 in 3 have been homeless at some point. All this is not because of our behavior but rather a hatred of us. I know I am hated by at least 80% of the population. So the way I keep my sanity is I try to associate with the accepting 20%. Nobody will hire me, so I am self employed from home. There is ALWAYS a solution. Find the solution in yourself.

How to create an original, unique, deep, fantasy novel?

The thing is, you have to look at it this way: it's not just Tolkien and Rowling, even they took they classic fantasy template. But what they di was made it their own. A young hero destined to a certain fate seems cliche, but it the journey ride there that you must tweak and make your own. What makes Harry Potter so accessible, I believe, is how it plays to everyone. Most fantasy stories that I see now make one character have powers, or a group only able to have powers. Harry Potter, however, anyone (almost) has the ability to become a witch or wizard and attend Hogwarts. That is what makes Rowling's work more relatable to the modern, general audience than Tolkien

What are some good dramatic movies about adult outsiders, misfits, outcasts, and loners?

When it comes to loners, the first that comes to mind is Travis Bickle in Martin Scorsese's  1976 classic  Taxi Driver.  Bickle is the quintessential loner and cynic, watching seedy porn movies, driving through the seedy back alleys of New York City, outraging against the scum of the earth, hoping one big rain would wash it away all.Almost all of  Clint  Eastwood's  Westerns, that projected him as the lmysterious loner, who walks into town. While his Dollars Trilogy, the Man With No Name series is a class by itself, another favorite of mine is High Plains Drifter. The mysterious loner, entering  a mining town, who ends up protecting their town from a group of rogue gunman, with an eerie twist at the end.A US Army colonel, who after the Civil War, prefers the loneliness of the Praire  land, ending up in native Indian territory, a misfit among them, who makes friends with them. Dances With Wolves was the quintessential loner, misfit story. While I am tempted to put  Tim Burton's  Edward Scissorhands, I would go for  Big Fish here.A young man played by Ewan Mc Gregor, seeks to move out of his small town of Ashton, which he felt too small for his ambition. However his journeys make him a misfit in almost every other place, he never seems to want settle anywhere else. A beautiful look at misfits, the art of  storytelling. For the record I think Tim Burton often had the misfit theme right through his movies. Consider thisEdward Scissorhands-  An odd looking hero, with scissors for hands, shunned as a freak, finds love in a beautiful girl.Ed Wood- Rated the worst director of the world, he was a misfit and oddity by himself  in  Hollywood.Sleepy Hollow-Ichabod Crane, a detective who faints at the sight of blood, gets beaten up by the Headless Horseman, and believes in scientific investigation of a crime, when it  was not even practiced. The lonely cop Rick Deckard( Harrison Ford), tracking down a pair of replicants, who have become a threat to humanity, in a dystopian sci fi world.

Compare and contrast sarah good and rebecca nurse?

To contrast Sarah and Rebecca:
Sarah was obviously a town outcast. To accuse her would be easy, because she was odd. She confesses, thinking that it will save her from being hanged. When she realizes that she will die, she goes over the edge and loses her mind, believing that she is a witch. Rebecca Nurse is a respected person, the midwife who has delivered many of the babies in town. When she is accused, people begin to doubt if the accusations are true.

Why is the caste system so important in hinduism?

Yeah, what the first guy said. The caste system was originally designed to favor a functioning society with all levals of roles fullfilled. The question should be WHY is the caste system, in a way, still practiced in India?
