Do You Know Dr.ann Wigmore

I have MS, recently diagnosed. What can I do to help myself?

Your doctor should have told you what to do.

As quoted:
How is multiple sclerosis treated?

Medications such as interferon beta, glatiramer acetate, and mitoxantrone can reduce the frequency and severity of attacks in people with relapsing-remitting MS and may reduce or delay future disability. Interferon beta and mitoxantrone may also slow the progression of secondary progressive MS.

Treatment with interferon beta or glatiramer acetate should begin as soon as relapsing-remitting MS has been diagnosed. Most specialists now agree that permanent damage to the nervous system may occur early on, even while your symptoms are still quite mild. Early treatment may help prevent or delay some of this damage.

Corticosteroids may be given during a relapse to reduce inflammation and shorten the attack.

Other medications can relieve some of the symptoms of MS, such as fatigue, depression, urinary problems, sexual difficulties, pain, and muscle stiffness (spasticity).

Dealing with the physical, practical, and emotional demands of MS is not easy for those affected by the disease or for their families and caregivers. With treatment, however, many people with MS can and do find ways to cope with their disease.

Some people try complementary therapies, such as diets or dietary supplements, acupuncture, biofeedback, and massage therapy. None of these have been shown to reduce relapses or change the course of the disease. Some treatments, such as massage therapy and yoga, may improve your overall sense of well-being.

How much carrot juice should be used per day to help fight cancer?

My mom has recently been diagnosed with cancer. I have read and heard from several people that using carrot juice "cured" people they know of their cancer. Only I forgot to ask how much they drank and couldn't find much online. Does anyone know how much it would take to possibly be effective? Thank you

Nelson wang: can you help me with your green smoothie recipes?

Sure!I keep it super simple to reduce decision fatigue:Mixed greens (Usually 60% or more of the Nutribullet cup)Handful of fruit (usually blueberries as they have a slightly lower sugar content, but sometimes Mango or Strawberries to mix things up.)Half a banana to help with the texture of the smoothie. It makes it much easier to drink.Occasionally, I’ll use Kale or Spinach to mix things up.Here’s what it looks like (this is literally a photo I took of one of my green smoothies at my home with my Canon SLR):Hope this answer helps you live a healthier life!Stay healthy my friends!

What kind of people believe that the cure to cancer exists but doctors and hospitals want to make money and so pretend it doesn't?

Tin foil conspiracy theorists. Why would one hide such a cure? Medical research relies on taxpayers pouring tens of billions of dollars into research every year. The careers of scientists depend on them publishing their results, and there is absolutely no incentive for basic science researchers to hide their research in support of "making money" off of cancer patients. First, research involves the coordinated effort of hundreds and thousands of researchers. How would you expect all of them to keep their mouths shut, given that such a cure can positively impact the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world? And also given the chance for fame, money, and recognition for said researchers? I'm also going to hedge that some of these scientists have a personal stake involved in cancer research (i.e. a family member with cancer, themselves with cancer, etc...). Second, such an action is a blatant violation of the Hippocratic Oath (first do no harm), and there is no way how hundreds of thousands of physicians worldwide would conspire together to defile the most sacred tenant of medicine.Third, there isn't much incentive for big pharma to hide a cure either since a potential cure is more readily marketable and economies of scale will allow it to be distributed to more people, hence lowering costs and improving their profit margins.

I’m trying to stave off the need for chemo after my cancer surgery and just wondering what is your opinion on the best way to juice wheatgrass, sprouts and leafy greens?

Two machines that will juice just about anything (Wheatgrass included) are the Angel juicer and the Norwalk (recommended by Gerson)One of those is probably the best for the serious home juicer. Both will last for many years unlike the cheap plastic juicers that are out there on the market. The Angel juicer (which I have) is probably your best bet if you don’t like to do a lot of cleaning. The Angel juicer has fewer componants and I can clean ours in under 2 minutes. The Norwalk supposedly provides a slightly better quality juice (although there is very little supporting fact to substantiate the claim) but you will have to clean the part that grinds the produce, the pulp bag and the machine every time you use it.If you have no one at home to make the juice for you it may be difficult for you to operate and keep clean a juicer if you are suffereing from weakness or as in my friends case, bone mets, it may be too painful for you to push the produce through the machine. They both cost a lot to buy but you will get the best juice yield from these and they hold their money very well if you want to sell later on.

Every since i changed my diet to 100% raw food, my ibs has gone away almost completely...........?

I saw a doctor a while ago and he didn't know if i had ibs or food intolerances. By the way, I already knew that i was lactose intolerant.

So anyways, about a week ago i stopped eating all cooked foods and i only eat raw fruits and vegetables. No bread, no sugar, nothing. All produce.

Since then i've barely had any ibs symptoms that i used to have.

So does this mean that cooked foods caused my ibs? Or could this mean that they were really food intolerances after all?
