I don't know if this is the one you're referring to or not. I saw one that was Canadian made a few years back. It's called "Liar, Liar: Between Father and Daughter". The lawyer was played by Kate Nelligan. You can go to imdb.com and type in the name. Basically, a girl tells one of her teachers that her father is having sex with her. No one really believes her because she's known to make up stories and everyone thinks this is the case again. She has an older sister who is in her twenties and lives out on her own, and was also a victim to her father. The girl's attorney is played by Kate Nelligan, who is the only one who believes her.

A while ago i was watching Lifetime Movie Network. There was this really good movie but i forgot the name of it..... So here is what it is about: A girls sister got killed and they couldn't find the killer so the case got closed. Like 10 yrs. later the killer wrote novels about how he killed people but made it look like he didn't. The victims sister read the book and said it was how her sister got killed so she asked him if he can help solve her sisters case. He said yes so he was acting nice and at the end of the movie he tries to kill her too and ad-mitts it was him when and when he was trying to kill her she ended up killing him. THE END! So does anyone know the name of that movie?????

A mute girl gets kidnapped and locked in a tiny room. I think a woman in the process of trying to save the girl, reads The Wind in the Willows(badger, mole, etc.) repeatedly. After various torture they two put on protective suits and have to outrun a couple of guard dogs. When they escape the girl is placed in a mental hospital. The woman tries to become the girl's legal guardian, but is turned away. As she turns to walk away, the little girl starts screaming "Badger". and they all live happily ever after, blah blah. please help if you know the title of this lifetime movie.

Hi, I have been trying to find this Lifetime movie I watched when I was younger, but I can't remember the title or the actors or actress's name. I just remember the plot. It is about the little girl who is consistently abused my her mother's boyfriend who later become her step father. The girl's mother is messed up, she sort of knows what is going on, but ignores it because she is in love with the sicko. The boyfriend at first physically abuses the girl. There is this one scene where they are at a family event and the little girl has to go the the bathroom and while she is in the restroom, her aunt comes in and discovers open belt wounds on the girls bottom and legs. The aunt notifies the men in the family and the men proceed to beat the boyfriend up in the front yard. The girl is then moved in with another family member, but the man comes one time when the family members are away and tells the little girl she will return because her mother is now unhappy. The little girl refuses and the man beats and rapes her. The mother arrives to find the boyfriend raping her daughter, hits him over the head with a vase, but still takes the guy back. As the end of the film, the mother signs over her parental rights to the other family member, but keeps her other little girl who her husband fathered and does not abuse. It's a really f***** up film. I really want to remember the name of the film though, you know how those types of things can just bother you, when you can't remember something? Please don't suggest looking on Lifetime website for it. Tried it and there 100's a movies on there, can't find it.

Would you consider made-for-TV movies like Lifetime and Hallmark as a good stepping stone for actors towards major franchises?
Not Hallmark movies because they rarely offer the actors an opportunity to show what they can really do; they are basically romantic fluff. Often a movie will star attractive actors whom I have never heard of. Most of the actresses who are their big names (Catherine Bell, Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure, etc.) were stars of series years ago. And the demographics of Hallmark movie lovers are not the ones advertisers are looking for.

Okay...I remember seeing it on Lifetime or WE a looong time ago. There's really no popular actors in it but here's a quick summary. It's about this twisted guy whose obsessed with this lady. He ends up kidnapping her somehow and keeps her in a wheelchair. Eventually he chops off her legs (or arms...or both...I forgot). I tried looking it up on IMDB.com because I could've sworn Bill Paxton was in it but none of the titles seem to ring a bell. I almost want to say the movie has the word 'Belinda' in it. It's a weiiiiird movie. Anyone know what I'm talking about? lol
