Which Indian YouTube channels are worth checking out that are not popular yet?

Thanks for the request.Earlier I answered this question for someone else and I believed the 5 channels I listed were going to reach heights soon. However, some of these channels are not consistent in posting videos and hence I stopped recommending them. It’s unfortunate, and I am subscribed to them, but they are out of my Watch list.So here goes:Carry Minati - Although he’s popular now, just about 3 weeks ago, he wasn’t really as popular. He makes videos reviewing other people’s work. Personally I am not a fan of insulting someone else’s work, but he does it and people like it. I wish he insults my channel someday now.Beverly Dee - Bev was on my list earlier too. She’s this cute Indian Mumbai girl who made a video in collaboration with Lilly, aka iiSuperwomanii. Lilly and Bev are not BFFs but Bev is followed by Lilly and she recognises Bev at any meet and greet. Hell I’d take that too from Lilly. Bev makes funny videos much like Lilly but her content is pretty original. In coming days, she might reach skies. Oh and I forgot, she makes covers as well.Jumbo Jutts - Making international covers is hard itself, making them in Hindi is even harder. These guys make songs in Hindi which are pretty much the exact translation of most famous international songs. It’s only a matter of time till these guys go mainstream like Sudh Desi Gaane.Tathaagat Shukla - This Gujju dude has 150k followers on Instagram, but less than 10k on Youtube. He makes Desi comedy sketches, which are your daily 2 min does of fun. Finally Jobless - A guy who left his job to become an author and ended up becoming a Youtuber. Quite an interesting story. He launched himself on Youtube with a video “50 days of being jobless”, his by far the most popular video. I know him personally, this is me. You should check out my channel. I make videos every Monday and soon starting a new Hindi short sketch series.Rachit Singh - Rachit is a kid who wants to make it big on youtube. He makes videos portraying the desi life and also his own film making abilities. These are my picks. I believe that more than anything consistency matters when it comes to gaining popularity. You cannot bask under the popularity of one video or 10 videos, you have to keep coming back, giving the audience more, giving them regular videos, one better than the other, and only then you can be popular.

What do you know about Raja Rao's story JAVNI?

The Cow of the Barricades (1947), is Rao’s first collection of short stories. Two short stories, “Javni” and “Akkayya”, particularly stand out in the collection. These stories were mainly written in France, at a time when the French literary scene was dominated by Paul Valéry and André Gide. The predominant atmosphere in the stories is Indian and Rao creates the scenes with great sensitivity. The suffering of the rural village women is clearly reflected in “Javni”, the tale of a loyal domestic servant who accepts uncomplainingly her humble situation in life and serves her employers with devotion and love. This is undoubtedly a reflection of the 1930s feudal culture and its hierarchical society, but also underlines the theory of karma. The poverty of the low-caste Javni arouses much compassion. “Akkayya” is a deeply moving story, commemorating the life of an obscure heroic figure, a Brahmin widow, all the more heroic because her heroism is not openly acknowledged.
