Do You Know This Song That Has Rain Sound And Some Guitar Notes At The Beginning

How do I make my lead guitar sound less like blues and more like rock?

What do you mean rock?  Chuck Berry?  Yngwie Malmsteen?  Jimmy Page?  Grateful Dead? You're going to want to play more modally, in general.  Learn especially the Mixolydian mode (b7) the Dorian mode (b3 b7) the Ionian (major) and Aeolian (minor or b3 b6 b7).  Learn to recognize what mode a song is in and what kind of feel that imparts.Play arpeggios over your chord changes.Land on notes that are not in the pentatonic scale (like the F's in Zep's Stairway solo or the 9's and 11's he plays frequently on Rain Song or No Quarter solos).Avoid mixing the b3 and natural 3 during a solo.Don't bend a lot of notes. But all that is just methods.  It's really about getting the feel of it, which is much less tangible.  Try playing along to records you like and figuring out licks.  Play with no pick.  Play on only one string, or octaves, or with unison bends a la gilmour.  Play with only three or four notes or maybe just one box pattern.  Essentially make it harder for yourself to go on auto-pilot and start babbling blues licks.Good luck.

Has anyone ever used this guitar tuning?

nope, never heard of it. And I use open tunings A LOT.

Have you tried doing a google on "DGCGCD".....? might throw up something.

I'd associate this type of tuning with English "folk" music. So there's every chance other English players use it. Page's playing has strong folk roots.

How to tune your guitar from standard tuning to dsus2 without a tuner?

Thanks to Tony's link, we now know the notes in Dsus2 tuning. To get there without a tuner, you'll need to use comparative notes from other strings.

You can see that the A(5th) and D(4th) strings stay the same as standard tuning. Note that the 6th string will be tuned to D(-2). The -2 denotes the string is 2 frets lower than standard. Follow me here.....normally, the open A string would be the same note as the E string fretted on the 5th fret. Since you're going to tune it 2 frets lower, you'll need to go 2 frets higher to make the same A note....the 7th fret. So...

Play the 6th string on the 7th fret and de-tune it until it sounds the same as the open 5th string. That will make the open 6th string a D note....and the 3 lowest strings will be correctly tuned.

Next, you want the 3rd string to drop 3 half steps (frets) to an E. Where can you find an E to tune against? The 4th string on the second fret is an E. So play that note and de-tune the 3rd string until it sounds the same.

When the 3rd string is tuned to E, the 5th fret will be an A note.....so tune the open second string to that.

When the 2nd string is tuned to A, the 5th fret will be a D note....so tune the open first string to that.

If you understand this process, it's possible to ear-tune to any tuning without a tuner. You only need to know where the correct notes are, then tune each string by comparing it to those notes.

might be "riders on the storm" by the doors
