Do You Like Drama Or Not

I have too much drama in my life what should I do?

First, separate yourself from those creating “drama.” What I did was move in with my girlfriend and her family, returned to high school, then graduated high school and joined the U.S. Navy.Later, had drama with the wife, so I separated from her and chose to be stationed in another state far from her. Started over personally through self-improvement.Was tired from the drama with the Navy, so I separated by not reenlisting and moved on.The point is, separate yourself from the source of the drama. Separate yourself from anything, anyone and any place not supporting you and not positively affecting your life.

Why do people like drama?

First of all, it's probably not about people 'liking' drama in the conventional sense. You're right to use the word 'attracts'. Crime, horror, and medical drama aren't necessary things we 'like', but like a car crash on the other side of the highway, we're indeed attracted to it.Second, compare what people want in their lives to what they want in their entertainment. A mellow, happy, relaxing, love-filled home is often quite desirable in real life, but it would make for a supremely boring TV show. (This isn't to say people don't like adventure and excitement in their own lives too, but the frequency is much lower than you find on most TV shows or movies.)Third, consider what our emotional and sensory systems have partly evolved for: to rapidly protect us from dangers by revving up our physiological systems. Heart rate, breathing, adrenal levels, visual and auditory processing--these all flare up in the presence of anything 'dramatic'.Put these observations together and it seems that humans are attracted to drama because it is indeed 'stimulating'. It stimulates our minds and bodies. It creates a reaction. And those sensations (those chemical releases) are somehow addictive enough that we seek them out (in some way that involves dopamine which Jonah Lehrer has no doubt already written about).

What do guys mean by "No Drama"?

In almost every guys' online profile, there's the line 'No Drama please!' But this is so vague, I'm not sure what it means. Personally, I think anytime you deal with humans, there's drama in some form or another. Can someone tell me what guys mean by this, or give examples? Is this just an excuse they can whip out whenever women do something they don't like or try to make them 'man up' so to speak? Like if he's bad about returning phone calls and his gf says something to him, does the 'no drama' rule give him the right to say he doesn't need the 'drama' of her expecting him to call her? (Hope that wasn't too confusing..hehe) Honestly, I'm just trying to figure out what a guys' definition of 'drama' is..Thanks!

How do you block out drama in your life?

Get yourself involved in a project; work in you community, help out a friend, or do something simple like build a bird house. There is truly no way to block out drama, just suppress it, or get away from it for 20 minutes a day. Keep yourself busy, and focus on the non-drama filled part of your life. :)
